  1. @undeather Yeah. I don't know whether they are or aren't, but I don't see how knowing whether they are or aren't would be particularly helpful. I agree. I wouldn't want to completely disregard it though. I'm giving attention where it's due. What are those?
  2. @Michael569 I agree. It's not something to completely ignore. I ended up getting the DefenderShield case for my phone which was 60% off on their website, my phone model was literally the only model that had that discount. $30 for something that costs $80 - the odds were in my favour I'm assuming it was a clearance sale, since companies usually discontinue making cases for older phones like mine. How do you know? While I don't know for sure. I wouldn't want to play Russian Roulette with my health. I don't think I'm anxious about this. It's more being cautious. As in fasting from food? I'm interested in learning more about this. Any resources?
  3. How much oregano oil and allicin did you take a day? Do you think it's sufficient for me to alternate between oregano oil (+ allicin) and neem (+ allicin) for antimicrobials?
  4. Thanks for your response @Austin Actualizing Where can I find them? Woah, I didn't even know they existed! I see. Is it sort of like the fast food industry? McDonald's basically feeding poison to people while still being in business? That must be why my naturopath gave me a PDF on reducing EMF exposure a few months back. I actually bought that book and read that article a few minutes after making this post. Scoured through the forum to see if anyone else talked about EMFs and came across @LfcCharlie4 posts, who also recommended this exact book and article haha. What a coincidence. Thank you! Watched his video on DefenderShield too.
  5. What is the lifestyle of a full-time mystic/sage? And how can you practically live like one? I'd think it is spending all of your time time doing practices conducive to realizing the Truth, Enlightenment/Awakening, Emotional Mastery, Personal Development, and sharing their insights with others (not only to provide value to others but to have the funding to live on your own terms and survive - you wouldn't wanna be a sage working at a 9-5 that takes up half of your time).
  6. People misinterpret how he's saying what he's saying. People think it's Leo that's talking, but it's more clear to think that it's God talking through Leo (Leo as in, the finite ego). With the former, someone may interpret him as being narcissistic, since he says things like "Needing to stoop down to your (human) level", "That's why you can't do X, because you're finite", etc. If people thought of it as God speaking through the finite incarnation called Leo, I'd bet that there would be at least a little less drama - provided that they have some open-mindedness. A lot of it stems from people attaching what he's saying to "Leo", the ego.
  7. @Opo I also made my bone broth homemade. But I ended up not being able to tolerate it (histamine intolerance. So I’m going to make boneless meat broth. Not necessarily. Taking food in liquid form gives your gut a rest as it’s a lot easier to digest. But not just any food, people usually recommend bone broth fasting as it has many benefits that solid food can’t provide, even meat. Water fasting may be the better option for some while worse for others.
  8. I'm obviously making it homemade... I'm not putting any herbs or spices in it. It's really easy. How so? I'm experimenting with what works and what doesn't.
  9. @Leo Gura I am wanting a source of calories during my liquid fast. I'm probably going do a boneless meat broth fast instead.
  10. I know it’s not the same as a water fast. But it’s low FODMAP if it’s half a lemon.
  11. @Leo Gura I might give it a go for two days and see how I feel. The lemon water fast + Rifaximin + Allicin might catalyse the healing process. What are you currently trying to treat your SIBO?
  12. @Leo Gura Why? What are the drawbacks of taking supplements or antibiotics/antimicrobials during a fast?
  13. @Leo Gura How so? I did a bone broth fast for 4 days, realized I had histamine intolerance. I was still really bloated along with other symptoms like eczema and runny eyes/nose. I'm thinking about doing a lemon water fast now. But I'm not sure if I should take it with my antibiotics and antimicrobials or stop taking supplements while doing it. Did you take antimicrobials or antibiotics during your fasts to kill SIBO?
  14. @Leo Gura[Loading...] That's the same with me. But I've only tried Mega Sporebiotic by microbiome labs. @Ora And you still healed your SIBO? What were your symptoms like?
  15. @Ora Thanks. What was your diet like when you were treating your SIBO?
  16. I found this to be insightful. One thing I’m not sure is true is that he says Google sells your data to third parties. Google only makes an anonymous profile out of you and sells your data to your self within their own database, not to third parties. At least that’s what I’ve read. What are your thoughts on Android vs Apple?
  17. Interested in seeing what everyone eats on a day to day basis. Drop them here!
  18. @Ora The book ‘Healthy Gut Healthy You’ talks about using probiotics and digestive enzymes in Step 2. I’m still doing the modified fast in Step 1. Once I finish it, should I just skip Step 2 and go straight to Step 3 (removing bacteria) since I have SIBO? And what are your thoughts on using Rifaximin to kill the overgrown bacteria?
  19. @soos_mite_ah The Book of Not Knowing by Ralston can help a lot. But I think that epistemology is something that will best be developed through contemplation. I've developed my epistemology through solo contemplation. Another tip I'd give is to contemplate while reading books or listening to videos/audiobooks. When you're consuming material, pause and contemplate the things that are being said for yourself. If you don't do this, you'll give your authority away to teachers and teachings. Remember that you are your own authority. The most authentic answers will come from you. View teachings as leads towards the path, not the path itself.
  20. Certainly is. My favourite thing to do is just contemplate, whether in my head or in a journal. I'm usually never bored nowadays because of it, you can put me in a long line waiting to go to the supermarket (COVID) and I'll be happy standing there, contemplating things, mining with my mind for juicy insights as if I'm mining for diamonds in Minecraft. But this often works to my detriment when it comes to things like meditation and strong determination sitting. Some question that I've been curious about comes up and I start contemplating it when I want to be meditating. Or I'll start fantasizing about ideas. I guess that's just the nature of us INTP's
  21. I started when I was 15, which was over a year ago I didn't even know that epistemology was a thing at the time. I was just very curious. There's a huge epistemological advantage to contemplating when you're young. In any culture, we get programmed with beliefs, constructs, and labels as we grow older. They further cement into our paradigm the longer we hold onto them. For most people, deprogramming tends to be half of the work, I can see how it would even be one of the hardest parts of this work. When your mind is still malleable, and you've had 15-16 years of programming compared to the 25-80 years of programming most people have, this serves as a big edge.
  22. @Michael569 I don't think it is fully resolved as I still have symptoms. But they have improved, so I think progress was made. Does LF stand for Low FODMAP? Is the psyllium husk supposed to be used alongside the antimicrobials? Or afterward? What if they are used alongside the antimicrobials? Would there be any downsides or advantages?
  23. So I started my second round of antimicrobials 2 days ago. The first round was 6 weeks of Allicin + Berberine. I took a 2-week break in between to prevent clinical resistance. This time, I am doing Allicin + Oregano Oil Capsules. It seems like Oregano Oil capsules irritate my eczema, but I'm not 100% sure whether it really is - does anyone know if it could do so? Just to experiment, I'm thinking about swapping it with something else. What other alternatives do I have? I know about neem, but what should I look for when buying it? What brand? Also, what are the advantages and disadvantages of; Taking 3 antimicrobials during a round of treatment? Taking L-Glutamine and Quercetin during a round of treatment?
  24. I have always been a perfectionist in almost everything I do. This has served me in some cases when it came to success, but I believe that it's counterproductive in how much time it takes up. I always go the extra mile for the 20% that doesn't give me 80% of the returns. Any books on solving this? I have The War of Art on my wish list at the moment.
  25. @Superfluo@FlyingLotus Thank you both. I've realized that this is actually a deep wound that's been running my life since early childhood. It may have even contributed to the business success I've had. This will really change my life. Thank you.
