Yes thats what im trying to say. For awhile i didnt just opened my mind up to the possibility, I fully accepted it. But now I've started to qustion it. For some reason no one here seems to have a need to. Everyone just accepts that the current understanding they have is absolute, thats what im asking this for. Why is this understanding absolute truth. -

When i said bullshit i didnt mean it in an offensive or closeminded way. Or in an absolute way. I meant it to explain that both what im saying and what your saying could be entirely false or "bullshit". Im not dismissing it or saying its bullshit and stupid. Im saying we shouldnt assume, dispite the experience any of us have had, that it is final and absolute. -

I know what you all are saying. I've known what you all have been saying the whole time. That is what I'm trying to question and learn from. You all say that theres ultimate truth, you have to experience it, speech cant explain it, you cant think about it. I know all of this, I've followed Leo for a while. What im proposing is that what you understand to be truth, what you have directly experienced, is simply another layer of illusion. Im not saying i know its bullshit or that it is. Im saying why are we 100000% sure that it is not another layer of illusion. Isn't that a fairly close minded idea? -

Your threatening to ban me because im questioning your close minded view? Im simply suggesting that maybe your understanding or whatever you wanna call it isn't absolute truth. How do you know that what you understand to be "becoming it" isn't just another illusion that feels real. Am i not being open minded here? Im simply questioning before accepting. -

Exactly thats my point, what im saying is just as bullshit as what any of you are saying. So why are you all assuming yours isnt bullshit. Everythings equally true and false, bullshit and otherwise. Thats what im trying to say. Your understandings are equally as impossibly paradoxical as mine. -

call it what ever you will belief or other wise. Why do is your understanding correct and proper? Why is your experience of the ultimate truth as you understand it to be not just another illusion. Why cant awareness also be fooled as easily as anything else. I feel like everyone is pretending that the mind is the only flawed tool in our tool belt. awareness, understanding, experience, and everything in between. Why are they things to rely on? Why is your understanding accurate? Again you can say because you have to experience it, but thats just the same as "have faith". This seems to be just a higher form of religious logic. -

Your missing my point as well. Take everything you just said. "experience is all that is." in particular. How do you know that experience is all that is. or that experience exists at all, or that anything is anything. For us to assume anything is real or fake seems just as ridiculous as most people here see religious belief. How do we know we are actually looking at landscape rather then just a more accurate map? -

Your point is simply that I have to directly experience what you have to know that what you believe to be true is indeed true. What im saying is that there are countless people who 100% believe in all kinds of things for all sorts of reasons. Just because you believe to be aware of some ultimate truth, doesnt mean its true, it means your being believes it to be so. So why are we treating this any differently then religion or science or anything else. Its just another level of proof or belief or understanding, its not any more accurate, just different. -
Nthnl replied to Nthnl's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's the thing, i do get it. I've got that for a while. But now I've thought "Why do we think any of that is accurate?" Sure its a better understanding then what science, religion, etc provides. But why do we think its true? Its the same rudimentary belief people have in religion and otherwise, just on a higher level. Truth probably doesn't exists, consciousness probably doesn't exists. This all seems much more likely to be bullshit then fact. -

your missing my point all together. I get that you have had an experience. You, from that experience, now believe you have this deep understanding of ultimate reality and think you understand the universe for what it is. To even assume the absolutes existence at all seems ridiculous when time and time again we find another way of understanding everything around us. Is this mindset not the same as any religious practitioner? "you just dont understand what i understand" -
Nthnl replied to Nthnl's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What i mean is, even the highest understand we seem to have here, direct consciousness. Why do we think direct consciousness, or what we understand it to be, is real. Why do we just think this is the ultimate understanding, the ultimate goal. Is it not just as likely to be another illusion entirely? -
Nthnl replied to Nthnl's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
How do you know that they are facets of the absolute. Why are we just assuming that these are not simply another better constructed illusion? How do we know becoming directly conscious of the nature of reality is actually what we think it is? Everyone seems so sure without a doubt that it may just be another illusion. I find it more likely an illusion. -
Nthnl replied to Nthnl's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Why are we assuming that ideas are the only illusion? Why aren't feelings an illusion. Why aren't awakenings an illusion. Were just putting our faith in different vessels. -
Nthnl replied to Nthnl's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I see what your saying. But what i mean is, say i awaken. Why are we assuming thats it? That thats the final done deal? It seems a step higher then other beliefs and understandings, but is it not ignorant to just assume its the highest? Or that in the grand scale of all possible awakenings that its even relevant at all? -

Not necessarily. Everyone reacts to things in different ways. Just because you dont react to these things in a beneficial way does not mean someone else may not react completely differently. -

sure... if thats what you believe. -
A fairly confident claim. You might even suggest overly confident. But hear me out. There's a man, a historian, that doesn't really get the recognition he deserves. His name is Allan Lichtman Allan Lichtman, since 1984, has predicted every presidential outcome to perfection. He predicted Trump. He predicted Obama. He predicted many prior. He now predicts Biden will win, using his full proof key method he created himself. I've linked a document I made illistrating the 13 keys if you wish to take a look yourself. He's also done a few interviews this year you can find on youtube. I dont know, I found it quite interesting, and probably the most reliable source for an accurate prediction.

Denounce right and left wing terrorism. Add better regulation at the border while also making it more humane and accessible to those wanting to come over. Enforce clean energy alternatives.

I told you guys haha. Steak contained.

Not much. If trump wins America will probably just continue being in this depressive aggravated state until further notice. It will survive, just be super aggressive and negative.

Yeah I agree government is not stage yellow at all. You think trumps stage yellow?

You thinking about trusting your mind is your mind.

I think it could be really cool if actualized.org, or some members inside made a discord server for more relaxed and off topic talk that the forum doesnt really support.

...im not sure where you worked, but im in the field of IT, and the ratio of windows to mac in the workforce is quite skewed toward windows. If your using a less powerful windows computer sure, it will be a worse experience then mac. But if you have the same specs on both, windows most certainly has far more capabilities then that of mac. Theres literally no scenario where I see mac beating windows at all.
