  1. Yes, there are a lot more than only hundreds of perspectives and no words have any meaning except that which we give them. Trump himself is largely responsible for giving his name this "triggering" ability that often inspires offended hatered or devoted defensive love. To brand and market his name, the persona, and all that accompanies it in such a powerful way is his greatest accomplishment as a demagogue/politician and his greatest failing as the so-called leader of the free world and POTUS. What makes his demagoguery so impressive is that he has won the mob (traditionally the "wealthy elite" opposed) as a generational wealthy elite celebrity famous for being a famous multi-billionaire. I well agree with the fundamental subtext of what you are saying about seeking common ground, open-mindedness, and shunning black and white thinking, yet being a single issue voter is the height of lacking or caring for nuanced understanding and action in politics. No offense, and if ever I was to be a single issue voter, "the environment" is the one hill I would gladly die on.... Say trump was exactly as he is, but for the last year he had completely reversed course on his environmental policy and was actively pushing, hard - with multiple executive orders, the Green New Deal. Would he have won your vote? Would you be an outspoken advocate for him and/or his lies? Would you take up arms for him? Also, correct me if I am misunderstanding, you are saying there are highly developed high consciousness people present here who support trump because of single issues, peer pressure, or "unique outlooks"? I suspect this just isn't so, but if it is I do hope they chime in because I am very curious to learn of some of these unique outlooks! I'm getting the feeling that many here feel enlightened humans can't or shouldn't have political stances or strong opinions about much of anything. It's not often said but in my observation and experience enlightened human beings have no can'ts or shouldn'ts whatsoever. They can truly freely do anything they want. It's just that what they want is normally aligned with, affirming, and reflecting Life, Love, Truth, and Goodness. Anything is possible though, even supporting trumpism, but it is highly unlikely because from the perspective of Consciousness expressing through knowing human cognition, trump and his movement are very out of alignment, exceedingly low consciousness, and largely toxic. This only makes them relatively bad of course, but that's bad enough, lol.
  2. Generally speaking then, it seems dating and sexual encounters are drenched in fear. What I'm understanding here is that women on the dating scene are perpetually terrified they may be raped and possibly murdered by any random guy, while insecure men are deeply afraid of approaching and getting rejected by these same insecure women. That's all very unfortunate. No wonder I gave up mingling at bars and clubs, lol. What I understand Leo to be saying is that "Pickup" is actually self improvement with an emphasis on developing one's social skills and cultivating masculine energy. In practice this then translates to being authenticly confident and attractive to women. What I understand you ladies to be saying is that "real" quality long-term relationships, as opposed to mostly one night stands, are best approached slowly and even through months of a platonic interaction with a man before it blossoms into romantic love. Tell me true though, did these platonic friends of yours not peak your romantic interest when you first met them, even if things took months to happen? I am deeply in touch with the masculine and feminine. It was always my dream to meet a woman who could be my beautiful friend first and, only slightly second, my lusty playful lover. This sort of relationship was my ideal even as a stupid horny teenager. Over the decades since then this line of thought and action has led to many girl friends, but few girlfriends. I don't discount or regret any of these relationships, but the pickup guys sure seem to have more "fun" and stand a far better chance of getting girlfriends, maybe even one to form a life-long partnership with. In my life I was a romantic fool who passed up a lot of sex and possibly finding a wife because of heady notions of chivalry, honor, and virtue. It all worked out for the best I know, but my message to young men would be study and practice conscious pickup if you want to live a conventionally satisfying life.
  3. @Scholar If you introspect do you not find it intellectually lazy, maybe even intellectually dishonest, to criticize by posting as you have, yet offering no attempt at higher consciousness content for exploration? Let's play the game and begin to give it a shot shall we... 1. I find it fascinating that there appear to be people on this forum who believe themselves engaged in enlightenment and Self-actualization work, the work of raising seemingly personal consciousness, yet they support trump. It may simply be where they are at on the spiral, in ego development, etc., but at this point they have had 4-5 years of trumpism to contemplate, see through, and transcend. Do you think these folks started so low that trumpist ideology appeared/appears elevated? Why are they so stuck? What would the practical drive to elevate consciousness even look like to Americans experiencing it from the "purple" or "red" worldview that would hold trumpism as a component of elevated understanding and uplifting for consciousness? How can we support their development so they can get past this level of (un)consciousness that finds the politics of trump appealing? 2. I am not very political. I wear no badge and carry no baggage for any party or ideology. I do not define myself as progressive, but I supported Bernie until the fruitlessness of doing so and the necessity of voting Hillary then Joe became apparent. I love trump unconditionally, but I don't really like much of what he says and does, nor would I hire him to clean toilets much less be POTUS. He is almost every bit the disaster I thought he would be, except he didn't start a huge war and get multitudes of people killed... or did he afterall, hmm? The scenario I foresaw involved nuclear weapons and foreign nations instead of small arms, IEDs, and Americans bathed in the blood of their countrymen. Anyhow, not even trump is all bad in a big picture sense, so what constructive elements can we distill from his having been in power? Off the top of my head... He has certainly been a disrupter, and maybe that is a positive thing only currently manifesting negatively? Is this the end of our 2 party politics and would that be beneficial, etc? ...I yield the floor.
  4. @Willie @Space Coyote The incredible weakness of the initial outside police line is the main thing I found perplexing (supposedly it was no different from what Capitol Police would field for any protest), and while I think a greater show of force (more officers in riot gear) would have been used for a BLM protest, if the same people were calling the shots as for this trumpist coup I think the police would have been only a bit more on the offense as well as much more in number. And yes, this perpensity towards greater violence at BLM would be a result of systemic racism and a general lashing out against progressive ideals, you know, crazy wild stuff like equality and fair unbiased treatment under the law and in society.... along with socialism!!! Commie bastards all of em! (I jest just here in case that wasn't clear) According to this AP article titled "Capitol police were overrun, ‘left naked’ against rioters": "Once the mob began to move on the Capitol, a police lieutenant issued an order not to use deadly force, which explains why officers outside the building did not draw their weapons as the crowd closed in. Officers are sometimes ordered against escalating a situation by drawing their weapons if superiors believe doing so could lead to a stampede or a shootout." It's the shootout they were desperately trying to avoid. What I'm saying is this is likely the SOP for any well supported mobs (sadly, being directed by the POTUS who recently received 74 million votes makes them Very well supported) of angry fellow Americans attacking the Capitol. In this case it was especially important because, like it or not, MAGA is potentially country breaking scary powerful. BLM is also to a far lesser extent, and although it may be hard to believe, it has some respect of those in power if only from fear of civil uprising as well, but not nearly as much so as the MAGA trumpists. That same AP article says "The police chief insisted they knew what they were doing. “He kept assuring me he had it under control — they knew what they were doing,” she said. “Either he’s incompetent, or he was lying or he was complicit.”.... Or things got a bit out of hand but overall went according to plan is what I'm now thinking. According to this same article ATF bomb squads were standing by and were activated. Another article that I can't find now but I think was from a reputable source said an FBI strike team was present in the building the whole time. Another FBI strike team eventually joined them from the outside to clear the buildings as evident from many videos of the event. If these FBI strike teams didn't kill anybody (basically their normal job and they are very skilled at it) it was definitely only because they were under strict orders not to do so. This AP article and other quality sources talk about how Capitol Police were warned and offered extensive aid by many other law enforcement agencies for the likely riots of these protests, and Capitol Police turned nearly all that aid down as well as apparently totally ignored these warnings. I've also read that the Capitol Police are 2300 in number just to police the Capitol grounds (That's a serious density of cops if they were all on duty) but only approximately 500 were on duty. I am the complete opposite of any kind of conspiracy theorist, but after reading a bunch of articles and watching a few videos on what happened at the Capitol, I think the rioters were set up, lol. It looks to me like they were basically let in to run amok and make trumpism look as bad to the confused, ignorant, and underdeveloped Americans as most of us know it to be. Optics in these situations is everything. Pretend if you can that you are sincerely unsure if trump and his devoted are the good guys or the bad guys in this country you love. Now the trumpists have desecrated the Capitol. In that attack, if you had to choose, who were the good guys and who were the bad guys? What if Capitol Police just clashed outside the building with the protesters, meaning they never got the chance to really ransack the place, and even a dozen of those "patriotic protesters" were killed. Can you imagine how trump would play this to his advantage while deflecting and shirking all responsibility? What would he do with all that power?... Get himself and most of his followers killed while causing Massive bloody destruction in the meantime, that's what. Lastly to Space Coyote, from everything I've read the real line of defense was made up of at least Capitol Police SWAT, an FBI Strike Team, and some amount of Secret Service. All of these folks are elite and have the best toys money can buy. Considering the location and context, sky is the limit on the technology they could've had. All of this is only an educated guess, except for the part about how the televised smashing of a mob of insurrectionists at the Capitol would surely lead to more, larger, and more violent mobs of insurrectionists given our current political climate.
  5. It likely won't come out for years but as a strategic security professional I can tell you what the police did (or didn't do.. like beat the crap out of, shoot dead, and arrest alot of people) at the Capitol was (prehaps poorly) planned. They were almost certainly ordered to put up marginal resistance to the rioters and to continuously fall back if necessary rather than cause harm. This is not because they were, as a group, sympathizers or racist or ordered to do this out of any nefarious purpose. It was de-escalation of violence, as opposed to escalation and incitement of national-scale violence, plain and simple. The purpose of the inaction of security was nothing less than maintaining broad control of the nation. They gave up their pride, the pride of the country, and alot of property damage to preserve life and prevent a civil war like situation. I have little doubt that longstanding plans existed for the scenario that played out and those plans were to de-escalate at all costs except imminent threats to the lives of elected officials. That is why the one woman rioter was shot. The room she was breaching likely was the predetermined and planned first line of "real" (cross this line and die) defense. Important assets, people and things, were likely just beyond that point. If the police had met those insurrectionists with force and shots were fired in mass (as typically happens after just one is fired in a crowd) and especially if it was a massacre of the insurrectionists and maybe even some of the "peaceful" protesters out in the street, as it could have Very easily been, much of our nation would have quickly erupted in violence. Violence begets violence isn't just a truism. It's an absolute rule in basic understanding of how large-scale civil unrest functions and grows. This was a dangerous national stage event like nothing we have seen in modern history if ever. If those insurrectionists, especially the sympathetic ones like costumed idiots, the elderly, veterans, and young white women were treated harshly much less mowed down by law enforcement (as one would think terrorists in the capital would be) every other gun toting right-wing idiot in the country would have seen it as a call to arms. Many of those on the fence about the legitimacy of the election and the state of our democracy would have been activated and weaponized for the MAGA movement to "Take Back OUR Country". The ruling class, the ones with half a brain (most certainly not trump) understand all of this and are doing their best to control the narrative that the police were incompetent and the domestic terrorists/insurrectionists were more akin to football hooligans. The reality is we just came close to widespread radical far right domestic terrorism erupting all across the country, likely at mostly every statehouse and mostly every residence of every politician and beyond, in a very narrow completely unmanageable time frame. All it would have taken to ignite that epically bad powderkeg is for law enforcement to be preceived as having come down hard on those rioters.
  6. Very well said and well done on all your study, introspection, and growth @Yoda Empiricus ! The drive for philosophical investigation combined with the suspension of judgment inherent in Pyrrhonism will indeed serve you well in enlightenment work. Although, the methodology here at Actualized.org tends towards direct cognitive impression as opposed to the impossibility of cognition, even into the transcendent, or as we call it All, Truth. So, let the Stoic vs Skeptic debates of yore begin anew!!!... JK, I gave that up thousands of years ago. Great post my friend. I'm fairly sure it was sarcasm, but don't "judge" (I know you would never) your enlightenment by the criteria of sitting with your mind empty for 10 days straight, or do and simply be satisfied with never labeling yourself enlightened. That's a debatable key teaching actually. P.S. Don't let "God" talk turn you off from any of Leo's teachings or the content you will find here on the forum. For Leo and these fine folk, God is basically synonymous with: Universe, Consciousness, Mind, Truth, Love, Good, Reality, Nothing, Emptiness, Everything, and more. They are an openminded lot. In my sphere of Life, I normally go with Nature or Logos. What It's called is completely unimportant relative to realizing and embodying It.... May the Force be with you.
  7. It has been my experience that whenever I am labeled anything remotely resembling a "thought terrorist" (really?... maybe John here is just punking us, hmm), am told that my teachings are dangerous, and that I had best stop/change or else, it a sure sign my doing is so Good that sinister forces of confused dumbassery have taken fearful notice. Few things encourage resolve or make me smile more. Congrats on this accomplishment Leo
  8. @Etherial Cat I offer you the poetic shame and sarrow riddled confession of German far right (but not far right enough to avoid Nazi persecution) conservative intellectual and Lutheran Pastor Martin Niemöller often titled "First they came": First they came for the Communists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist Then they came for the Jews And I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me -Martin Niemöller Do notice who he says they (the Nazi's) came for (imprisoned and/or executed) second.
  9. @StateOfMind I have answered your question and am willing to participate in further dialog answering more quality questions, but it sounds as if you are saying you've not had an awakening whatsoever. If so, that is what needs to happen in you. Focus on fostering awakening and then answer these big questions Yourself.
  10. @StateOfMind Great question I feel for you and understand your frustration. I also understand you are actuality just asking one big multipart question but please know it beckons a big multipart answer. For starters, and this is the kind of dare I say crap pat answer I normally try to avoid, but your specific wording and context calls for it; You do just exist as God, but you simply don't realize It. Next, you do not have to do anything to realize You are God except awaken to Reality. In fact, when You do realize this it will seem to whatever is left of your ego that it was always amazingly obvious and you may muse, "why didn't I realize this sooner?!" The big "Why" question can be somewhat satisfactorily and accurately answered by what a couple here have said already; God is playing in form, yet this is far more profound than playfulness purely for fun, although awsome fun it is. This next insight many who think they know or think they cannot know may disagree with, but it is what I have awakened to on "Why" after nearly three decades of intense spiritual exploration. As well established here and in many a sage and wisdom tradition, God is the One, alone. Please understand I write this as a staunch Monist from all points of Being, transcendent experience, theory, and practice. The "Why" is that God, out of pure Self-Love, is engaged in developing It's most perfect Creation: God Itself. This is done outside space-time in a singularity that is everything we experience as space-time. All existence as we know it as human creatures is what is contained within the event that I model as a kind of Divine Cosmic mitosis. Our seeming universe, selves, and Everything is an evolutionary building process within an infinitely complex system that is God becoming God. We and all of perceived existence are: God in training, God growing, God replicating, God teaching God and learning to Be Itself. What implications, if any, does this have on Nonduality, Oneness, etc? I sincerely feel that as God we are in somewhat unexplored depths of Consciousness and are very much looking forward to finding out perhaps again and again now then and when. In the eternal-infinite realm of the formless, forever and now are the same, so happenings as singularities with instant beginning-endings are basically impossible to well describe in a conventional rational way. In human terms, it's likely going to be a Very long time before some seeming material thing (humans will be long extinct) can know, if any material thing can ever know (the completion of the process in space-time is likely the end of the game of this preceived material Universe for All Existence). So anyhow, this is why the fuck it is this way, and it's amazingly, awesomely, joyfully fun when it is no longer frustrating.
  11. @BakeJeyner Your perspective is the only perspective that you are likely aware of in direct experience. You can trust direct experience when it is pure and free of: labeling, judgment, chatter, conjecture, stories, fantacy, problem solving/creating, and commentary, etc. This pure direct experience with a quiet unclouded mind is in it's highest form Truth observing Truth, but even when it's not it's the path to Truth and as close to Truth as you can get at any given point in your spiritual journey. I've not watched Leo's "Realizing you are God" video in weeks, but I believe this was the main point it was driving at. Teachers are always trying to say essentially the same few things in a multitude of ways. In this exercise Leo tied together presence, ego "death", and self inquiry to arrive at a very grounded BS free version of God realization. Not at all coincidentally his prescription also touches on the body-mind facet of what it is like to be an awake human Being, yet he said little of the emotional and spiritual components of such an awakened Being. He speaks on these at length in many of his other videos so maybe what would best serve those of you who are feeling bad is to go watch some Actualized.org videos on Love. Look, let's cut to the chase. There are no problems. If any of this is seeming problematic please realize the problems are definitely illusionary/egoicly created. As far as the realities, individual agency, and the general not-being-philosophical-zombieness of others, especially when outside your direct experience, others are every bit as real, sentient, and approximately as aware as you are in the conventional bottom-up human perspective. Yet, you cannot really know this from your own direct experience, so in the order of things it is once removed, a step back, from Truth. Don't let that stress you out or create problematic thoughts and actions. If you ever get to the place where the boundaries between you and not-you really break down and permanently dissolve there is only intense beauty in Being Consciousness. Please understand God knows exactly what it is like to be the egoic human you along with everything and everyone else. You do not lose or permanently forget human level divided consciousness when God-consciousness is realized. They are one in the same, or the seemingly smaller is a subset of the ultimate if you like. When you gain a top-down perspective you will still have a bottom-up perspective at your disposal. All of this concern with solipsism, fear and anxiety over Emptiness, the questioning about feeling no Love, etc, is distraction. I feel for you guys and valuable pointers for awakening have been shared as a result of all this distraction (HA, how you like them apples ego!, lol) but just work through it all as quickly as you can. If you happen to have enough control over your mind to do so, just push all this egoic BS to the side and forget about it or become comfortable with "not knowing" and thereby not worrying. In discussions like this so many are always so focused on knowing so much. It is far more helpful to surrender all knowing and needing to know. This is my advice and I know nothing
  12. In regards to this solipsism question that some here including the OP are asking and so many seem concerned with elsewhere, I kinda addressed it in point 2 of my previous post (totally-totality misspelling and all, ha): " Recognize that you are a gateway for the Love of All Being even as you are a part of All Being... For bonus points expand the spaciousness, the gateway of Being Love, to the point where it creates a void larger than your body, then larger than your bubble of perception, and realize that by virtue of being a part of All Loving Being, outside space-time, you are also the absolute totality of It." "The absolute totality of It" means being the One and only, alone, but also infinitely beyond any fear or sadness surrounding this aloneness... We could say it's a matter of point and scope of view, the way we frame who and what you think you are or if we see You as altogether unframeable. There are persistent challenges in enlightenment teaching surrounding the fact that none of the language, symbols, or models we construct to communicate ideas are ever completely accurate to Truth. Furthermore, are we to teach from the bottom-up human perspective or the top-down God perspective or readily mix these two for authenticly but thereby risk confusing the hell out of mostly everyone, lol. Leo is masterfully articulate and very precise with language in service to Truth. What he offers in "Guided Exercise for Realizing You are God" pushes but does not cross the boundaries of what anyone who sincerely follows his direction can directly experience, yet few will well understand. He cut deep to the limits of otherwise limitless Truth in individual physical human perception while simultaneously opening the door for transcendence and, very importantly in this specific exercise, eliminating many avenues of fantasy. The highest hard Truth for the egoic self and everything attached to it is that it, along with everyone and everything else, does not exist except in the Consciousness that is God. It is not that reality doesn't exist outside your own mind, but even your own little mind-body does not exist outside God-mind. This is not so much solipsism, but Truth and Truth is Good. Solipsism Syndrome to my understanding is often aligned with narcissistic and negative potentially harmful human behaviors. God-realization integrated into embodying God-consciousness makes a human One seemingly walking the world interacting with perceived others a profound, peaceful, positive force of Nature. If it is a sort of meta-solipsism, it is a kind of absolute Divine healthy and happy solipsism nothing like what is met when most use the term medically or even philosophically. Again, it is also highest Truth in the here and now and cannot be legitimately argued against in Reality. It is what it is regardless of how we label it. It is the Truth of God. God is Love. Truth, Love, and God are all absolutely Good, so embrace Your Oneness as the awesome blessing of Being that It is! Having this understanding in no way limits you from enjoying life and all seeming others. In fact your relationship with life will be so deepened that you can become conscious of Life enjoying you enjoying it, lol! You can play in the world of form as God always has, just with much more conscious loving Awareness. Yes, in the transcendent absolute state of resting in God as God as Creation, everything, and I mean everything in what we humans call existence, has a "bubble" essentially like what you believe the dream that you are has to the limits of each things given form. This knowing opens a floodgate of speculation, fantasy, and BS that only serves to derail and distract most seekers, so forget it and be you being God until the time comes when You are truly knowingly God being you.
  13. Hello Arthur, Everyone here is giving you solid advice. What a wonderful forum. Thought I'd offer my two cents to spend as you like.. Firstly, from observation and research what you are reporting is not unusual for an early awakening. Recognize this and don't give in to permitting your fear to stop you from further spiritual work. Here are three pointers from seemingly different converging angles that may help: 1. Have you ever been intoxicated, even a little, with love for another? Not lust, but love. Have you felt the kind of love where all of existence, maybe even yourself, seemingly disappears and the whole world becomes only the object of your love? If you are a young man as I suspect you are we are likely talking about the love of a woman, etc, but we could be talking a pet or friend or relative. Just search your heart for the greatest love like that you have ever felt (even if in current retrospect it feels like it was juvenile infatuation), and feel it now. Hold the pure jubilant feeling of that love in meditation with little to no mental chatter and no visual fantasy about the old object of your love. Hold that love and while doing so, try Leo's God realization exercise again.... If you cannot identify any bit of the love we are talking about from your previous life experience, then go fall foolishly in mad love with someone or something before becoming a serious spiritual seeker. 2. Get out of your head and into your heart. I don't know your practice or tradition, but if you in any way have a technique for opening the heart, do that relentlessly. I was very heady and heart-locked years past my first awakening before Love was realized. "Opening the heart" once sounded like nonsensical fluff to even my then very spiritual ear. On the contrary, opening the heart is both highly accurate wording and vitally important for spiritual development. If you are head-strong with a radically open mind (if not, well, get to work) and you focus on how this "feels", there should be a visceral sense of spaciousness emanating from your skull. See if you can't move that feeling of spaciousness down so it is emanating from your solar plexus. Practice holding and expanding this feeling of spaciousness coming from the solar plexus. Visualize it as your opening a heart-centered gateway for Love in your human being. Remember and hold in consciousness the love from point 1 above while realizing your love is one with, and a reflection or refraction of, Love. Let Love be your oxygen, your breath, your spirit, your life. Breath deep from the sensation of Love through this heart gateway in your chest. Exhail Love to All Being. Inhail Love from All Being. Recognize that you are a gateway for the Love of All Being even as you are a part of All Being... For bonus points expand the spaciousness, the gateway of Being Love, to the point where it creates a void larger than your body, then larger than your bubble of perception, and realize that by virtue of being a part of All Loving Being, outside space-time, you are also the absolute totally of It. Call It Nothing or Everything, absolute Emptiness or overflowing Fullness, God, Nature, or whatever but don't get intimidated by any of It's names or related concepts and experiences. I'm sure you know the sensation of giving a loved one a big hug. I realize this sounds corny af, but that is the best approximation for what this feeling of opening the heart by Love is like. There they are, your loved one standing before you to embrace. You throw your arms open wide. Do you feel the expansiveness and lightness in your chest even if you only visualize a loved one and go through a hugging motion? Do you feel the intention and the anticipation of love given and received? Opening the heart as a gateway of Love is exactly like this, but greater in magnitude. 3. It is a simplified, although useful, ultimate-only dichotomy where your only choices are fear or Love. I went years and multiple awakening without knowing Love, but I sincerely never felt fear from even the most relatively terrifying of spiritual experiences. Everywhere my fear could have been I instead held and operated from pure awestruck curiosity. The reason so many people encounter fear states from awakenings is that they are ill prepared. Your ego is filling you with fear as you describe because it cannot exist as the Emptiness and therefore feels threatened. Ego is labeling Emptiness as bad to get you to identify yourself as the lie of essentially being ego experiencing some weird evil emptiness rather than the Truth of Being Emptiness playing as ego. The solution is to condition the ego to accept ceasing to be, or at the very least ceasing to think it's in charge. Leo kind of slipped this in on your ego with his God realization exercise and apparently your ego didn't take kindly to it, lol. There are many ways to weaken the grasp of ego. All of them are self (as in egoic self) destructive. In my opinion some of the simplest gentlest things you can do is engage in alot of self depreciating humor and other such physically harmless acts. Make fun of yourself. Dress dumpy. Act dumb and answer "I don't know" to everything. Stop taking anything seriously or personally. No? Okay, and/or hit yourself in the wallet. Start giving everything you can away. The more difficult a thing is for you to part with the better fuel for the ego bonfire it is. Have something of great sentimental value? Give it up. The best stuff to part with is that which has great monetary and sentimental value. No? Okay, and/or go the valuable long intellectual route Leo advocates in much of his teaching. Study epistemology. Truely deeply realize that everything you believe is only relative limited perspective and mental construct. Your egoic self is total BS built on layers of BS. It twists and turns and manipulates your personal reality for what it sees as survival needs, not yours so much as it's survival needs, and you are powerlessly just along for the ride. Expand your mind to the point it collapses in on itself again and again until the ego is stretched so thin it has no thickness left to defend itself. This method takes years of hard work but it's worth it. No? Okay, and/or go semi-hardcore. Engage in daily visualization of your bodily death in all manner of ways. Walk cemeteries. Work with the dead and the dieing. Hospice is always looking for volunteers. If you have the opportunity to enter a combat zone definitely do so. More advice here I cannot give, but you get the idea. Experience, reflect on, and contemplate death to the point where all fear related to death is completely replaced by only peace. Ideally do all of these things in some measure to prepare the self for encountering and embodying the Self. I got wordy. May you read this and may some part of it be useful to you. Ultimately man, you can't force Love anymore than you can make fields flourish, but you can plow and plant those fields while praying for bright skys mixed with right rain. The occasional rainbow is bound to manifest in the meantime.
  14. Tremendous value for the money! A few hundreds of hours of work to finish what is really only the beginning of the life-long journey in becoming more complete. I'm a Stoic Humanist and mystic 6 years into my formal 9 year education to become a board certified professional medical chaplain. For the first time and over the last year or so I was feeling burnt out by graduate school and unsure that I was on the proper path. I did the entire Ultimate Life Purpose Course and it confirmed, affirmed, and focused my life's aim. I am feeling revitalized and more committed than ever to my mission. Thanks to Leo I now know without a doubt that I am doing exactly what I should be to become and live more fully into my authentic higher actualized self. Furthermore, I have discovered my values, strengths, and deepest drives demand I specialize in both children's hospital chaplaincy and chaplaincy education/leadership. In "retirement" many years from now when I open my spiritual development and retreat center (also a major long-term goal shown to me by this course) Leo gets free life-long access and VIP service Seriously, it's a promise. Much Love and Gratitude, -Ryan
