  1. It's been a month and a week since i became vegan, and i feel great energetically and everything. It's just that i don't feel like i'm eating healthfully, and i also feel like healthy veganism should be whole food plant based for the most part, which i am not doing, and i don't think i am able to do just because it requires lots of planning and effort, and i am just busy with life. So for now i think, i'll switch to a healthy omnivorous diet, since i think it is easier to be healthy on a omnivorous diet than on a vegan one. what do yall think ?
  2. In defense of alcohol : People who are against alcohol usually talk about its negative outcomes on health. However there's benefit in experiencing alcohol and its effect to gain awareness into what the alcoholic experience feels like. It's just like with sex or drugs, people may say sex could lead to diseases, or drugs can have negative outcomes health wise. However engaging in those activities is part of what makes life rich and meaningful. Life isn't supposed to be risk free and without danger and even pain. Life is supposed to be risky, dangerous and even painful. Why did God create suffering if not because of the thirst God had to experience it. Because all experience brings about some wisdom to be learned and some awakening to a new facet of life. Hell you might become a connoisseur of alcohol and it can become your deepest passion and bring you much more fulfillment and meaning than negativity in your life. Also there's a difference in degrees and how alcohol affect people differently, there's a spectrum there. All of these nuances have to be taken into account when talking about alcohol, besides just it's potential negative health consequences. Plus i notice a double standards when people will demonize alcohol or drugs and do other potentially unhealthy dangerous activities like consuming a lot of junk food, or a lot of toxic content on social media which might harm their mental health and might also harm them in deeper ways.
  3. I always knew i wanted to be a rapper. Rap is one of my deepest passions. I already write rap in italian.
  4. School is just not for me, and i don't want a lot of money, i just want to be able to live a decent comfortable life. How do i do it outside the school/academic system ?
  5. @Theprofessional I bet you didn't do much pick up to say that. If you approach thousands of women a lot of your limiting beliefs will be shattered. Women do not get attracted to your money because attraction isn't logical, it's emotional. And attracting a wife or a girlfriend is the same process as attracting a one night stand, because attraction is the same thing.
  6. @Theprofessional I found this to be true, lmao, maybe not 270k per year, but like yeah you need money to do pick up effectively. Like you need money for a car, a house or uber and the hotel room... Plus entrances to clubs consistently... Plus you need the money to move to a better city/country... All of that takes lots of money. Plus money for dates... If you're parents can't help you with all of that and you're young, well what are the chances you'll get laid ? None. I've tried it. I've done 2500 approaches without getting laid. To do pick up you gotta be rich, in a nutshell. Leo just doesn't appreciate how bad most people in the world have it, to the point where they can't afford to do pick up, just on a money level. All of leo's content doesn't work for most people because they don't have enough money or time (because they have to work for the money) to put it in practice. Therefore realistically, instead of teaching us how to deconstruct rationality, he needs to teach us how to make more money to be able to then work on spirituality effectively, or on our dating life, etc... @Leo Gura What do you think?
  7. As i was watching this video, i was wondering why do we talk so much about women being victims of sexual harrasment, but do not equally talk about the root cause of the sexual harrasment which is sexual frustration in men ?
  8. Is mathematics invented or discovered ? Mathematics is a language. And like all other languages the goal is to develop fluency in it, through massive experience. Just like with English, a very good English speaker will speak English in the best way possible intuitively not through reasoning or consciousness of all the grammar rules. A good mathematician solves mathematical problems intuitively because he has internalized its rules and know how to use them. Now to the issue of mathematics being invented or discovered, the answer is mathematics is invented. This isn't a mathematical problem but a philosophical one. Because reality is imagination, all language are artificial dissections of the same unity which can be very useful for manipulating reality, however it shouldn't be confused for reality itself. Which is an infinite unity otherwise called God. Which is indivisible oneness. Now since reality is imagination, hence truth is imagination. Therefore mathematics is true as imagination because there's nothing but imagination. In this sense mathematics is discovered but in a deeper sense, mathematics is invented.
  9. I decided to switch majors from information technology to physical education. I went into information technology for the money, but i soon realized that i couldn't do it anymore because i just lack the passion for it. Physical education sounds like a nice switch up, because i will learn about health, fitness, nutrition, physiology, anatomy, i resonate with that more than with information technology.
  10. I was having a debate with my parents who are convinced muslims and i realized it is just impossible to talk to these people out of their faith, but why is that, it is really a fascinating phenomenon.
  11. @Leo Gura Where is the video then ? lmao just joking, take your time.
  12. @Leo Gura Yeah i realized over the years, that i do not need spirituality to be happy. If i have my health at 80, even without doing any spiritual work, i'll be fine. And if my health is bad and i am about to die, then be it. Basically a lesson in acceptance.
  13. @Emerald Most guys are sexually frustrated. Having a girlfriend doesn't mean one is not sexually frustrated. You've only got one out of billions of hot girls, think about how frustrating is that. As men we crave variety, not just having one girlfriend.
  14. @Something Funny Dude obviously spiral dynamics is group think, like there's not even a need for debate.
  15. @Princess Arabia That's some bullshit, this guy was a sexually frustrated sri lankan, who rarely sees a hot white girl, and so he took his chance. lmao. Obviously.
  16. @Something Funny Unpopular opinion : spiral dynamics is group think and low intelligence.
  17. @MAT02 try semen retention and fasting and tell me how it works out for you. It's pure foolishness and torture, not smart at all.
  18. @MAT02 semen retention, dry fasting, and sleep deprivation are all torture plus dangerous for your health, you're a fool for thinking in these terms.
  19. @MAT02 i tried it and it is horrible for your health, scientifically speaking. Puts you at a greater risk of diabetes, as well as not getting enough nutrients from the diet.
  20. It took me a very long time to understand in which direction i should go career wise, and i think i finally found it: i wanna become a psychotherapist. It aligns with my passions, as well as it give me a great opportunity to live a decent comfortable life. My ultimate purpose is to make rap music, this is one of my deepest passions. And i think if i become a psychotherapist it can give me enough flexibility and freedom, to travel and invest in my music career. Even if i never make it as a rapper, in the sense of making enough money off of it to be able to live, i can practice psychotherapy which i think i will enjoy, as well as making rap music on the side, and building a small fan base which enjoys my music and talent. I ventured a lot in my mind, trying to think about ways to earn a living, from engaging in a pursuit of a philosophy doctorate, (which is one of my deepest passions as well, philosophy, it takes too long 9 to 11 years, and the competition for a job is really high, plus you're dependent on the university whereas psychotherapy you can work while traveling..., basically more freedom as well as it being more adequate financially realistically and also it takes less years, 6-7) to a career in computer science or information technology (which i hate but can make good money) but then i realized that you have to find a middle ground between passion and good living opportunities, which is perfect with psychology and becoming a psychotherapist.
  21. Still on the journey.
  22. as part of my self actualization journey i wish to learn italian and document it in this journal. learning a new language opens up a whole new world rich of complexities, nuances and experiences.
  23. @Basman yeah i do, i don't think about how the food that i eat affect animals, because it makes life way too impractical for me.
  24. @Leo Gura That's inspiring! However if i'm a 22 years old virgin, do you think i should go the manhood route of not being interested in sex or having a girlfriend. Or should i compromise on my manhood and seriousness, and go get laid ?
  25. @Leo Gura Exactly, i am getting sick of the inauthenticity of game, just to get results. The authentic me doesn't want to chase girls, he wants to do philosophy and spirituality. But good luck getting a girlfriend with this kind of mindset.
