  1. @Husseinisdoingfine How would you say is it different from sunni islam ?
  2. Man, all of my problems stem from this shitty illness: weight problems, financial problems, dating problems, family problems... It's exhausting, it's like i'm a slave to my mental illness, i can't function properly even after receiving treatment, life just feels like a burden all the time, as well as me being tired all the time.
  3. @Leo Gura Leo we want more content on romantic relationships.
  4. @Leo Gura How does me being rich affect my level of consciousness ? If i do the consciousness work then i can be rich or poor it doesn't affect my spirituality. What do you think ?
  5. Is the bible true historically? Look we see the world through a story, and the boundary between materiality and imagination is fluid. So if we imagine the bible as historically accurate, it becomes historically accurate in our experience. The notion of factuality is absurd. If we take the model of factual objectivity seriously, then we end up with an infinite amount of facts. Hence reality becomes unknowable. Think of it this way, there are 8 billion people on planet earth. Okay that's something, now how many facts did occur to every single person just today? An infinite amount of facts. Therefore if you base your model of reality on factual objectivity you're doomed to fail at grasping anything significant due to the sheer robusticity of the domain of facts. However if you think of life as a story, therefore life becomes way more understandable, the boundary between imagination and material reality collapses because everything you imagine to be true becomes true in your lived experience. And wisdom is knowing what story to tell yourself. And a bad story to tell yourself is that you operate under a factual objective mode of viewing the world, which is just intenable due to the reason i cited previously.
  6. Why i am not a vegan? I am not a vegan for simplicity sake. I value having a simple life, and i think that an omnivorous diet is way easier to have than a vegan one. As well as being culinarily richer and more refined. Veganism is an insult to thousands of cultures and their unique cuisines around the world. Thousands of years of culinary practice, wisdom, and experience, thrown away in the name of equality, isn't this tragic? Thousands of plates and recipes, with the richest of diversities, from all continents, have to be butchered in the name of animal rights. As well as veganism being an unbalanced worldview, one that doesn't see compromise, doesn't appreciate the value of animal based food. I'm sick of the old vegan rhetoric, i want new rich and diverse experiences, this includes culinary experiences. Throwing away thousands of years of culinary wisdom, rituals, traditions and habits, is a tragedy. And for this veganism will never win, because at heart the human soul desire novelty, wisdom, diversity and richness. At heart veganism makes you hate humans and their traditions. Also as a non religious person i refuse to be part of this religion and cult which is veganism.
  7. My main point is that to have a life purpose you need capital first, which is a paradox because you're relying on life purpose to make money, yet to make your life purpose work you need money in the first place. Also if you take life purpose seriously you're taught that to succeed, you need to work on something you're passionate about. However here's the catch 22, which is that to work on something you're passionate about you need capital. And to get that capital, you need to work with whatever makes money, however if you listen to life purpose, it says to only work on what you're passionate about otherwise you'll fail, so you cannot set a career with something you don't like, hence you can't get that capital to make life purpose work.
  8. @LordFall I think it is a net positive. It is quite a relief to be able to watch porn and masturbate in peace.
  9. Leo doesn't emphasize the importance of being holistically well put together overall to succeed in dating. Like if you're homeless, most likely you won't get laid. Money, and looks matter almost as much social skills. I feel like Leo doesn't stress this enough. I kinda wasted years chasing girls without a proper money foundation and working on my look, which ended in me not getting laid. My skillset in game and seduction improved significantly though. Also women, and i know this from experience, are attracted to luxury. If you wear a luxurious watch, clothes or drive a luxurious car... All those factors help you get laid. Social skills are not enough, you also need money, and looks, otherwise getting laid will be difficult.
  10. If only enlightened individuals are the most free from self deception, does it mean that everyone else is full of self deception ? And is there a way to rank people on a scale from the most to the less self deceived ?
  11. @Leo Gura Notice that you needed to put your finances together, before entering pick up. This wasn't a coincidence. Also what kinda nonsense is this: women sleep with homeless men ? Maybe 1% of homeless men sleep with women, 99% of homeless men do not get sex. As a bisexual man myself, i wouldn't want to sleep with a homeless man, i have at least some standards. Women prefer men who are have money, over men who don't. That's obvious enough. Without money you'll get nowhere in dating. Money and looks matter a lot. Stop misleading people. Without money you can't move to a good city, without money you can't handle the logistics, so yeah obviously money matters. And in a relationship, a girl would rather be with a guy who has money than with a homeless penniless guy.
  12. I sort of find the whole alcohol culture very attractive, and i want to enjoy it. I never tried alcohol before, and in my muslim family it is kinda taboo. However i don't want to die ignorant. I know there are health risks, however Leo said in his episode burning though karma, to exhaust material desires through indulging in them so that they get out of our system. I'm also open to trying the really hardcore drugs like cocaine, crystal meth, heroin, just out of curiosity, however i don't know if i will ever do it, because it can be really risky and dangerous. However alcohol is more mainstream, and accepted, should i try it ?
  13. @Sugarcoat You should see a physician to determine what's your issue, it's not normal to lose you libido, and your sense of self lmao. Maybe you got some mental illness going.
  14. @Leo Gura Therefore my attitude is either to not want to engage with women anymore or being a sociopath and treating them as sex objects to be conquered to score a point and add more numbers to my lay count. If they do not care about me, which attitude should i take towards them other than the two i just iterated ?
  15. @Leo Gura I mean practicing pick up made me realize how shallow women are, like they don't care about me or my person, only my pick up skills matters to attract them, which is just like doesn't make me want to relate to them or love them. Like they don't care about who i am deep down, what makes me vibrate, and feel passioned or alive, they only care about how i approach them... It's a very transactional kind of thing in the end. Plus pick up is a very fast seduction kind of thing where you can get sexual with a girl very fast. Ideally i want a girl not for sex but for sharing the same passions as me for philosophy, epistemology, metaphysics, understanding reality, language learning, rap music maybe...
  16. @aurum Who should we listen to then for dating advice ? Btw i watched a few videos of his, and he sounds solid. You can learn a lot from him, now i'm not saying he's perfect, you gotta distinguish the signal from the noise.
  17. I want to meditate, contemplate, read, but i genuinely struggle due to my job which tires me and makes it impossible for me to do this work. My job and exercising leave little room and time or energy for the activities i mentioned above. How do you deal with that ?
  18. @Hojo This is bullshit. You won't make spiritual progress with this attitude. Spirituality is hardcore WORK. You need hardcore discipline to sit down, close your eyes and remain there for an hour everyday. This is serious work, not easy to do. Or to sit down with a notepad and focus your attention on a question for an hour a day, and note the answers. It is difficult WORK. If what you described was true everyone will be enlightened, guess what, it is obviously not the case.
  19. @Dayo Dude i get tired after work, i need time for rest and chilling doing nothing, i can't just live while having to work 24/7. Like either on my regular job, exercising or spiritual and self actualization work. lmao.
  20. @Husseinisdoingfine The thing is i want to make rap music as my life purpose, however realistically to make professional music, you need a bunch of money, therefore i think imma enroll in university with a computer science major per i soldi (for the money), and then work on my life purpose that if it worked and i gained an audience will allow me to quit my computer science job, if not i will keep doing it, because i like being creative and making rap music, it's my passion.
  21. There's a sort of a spirit of evil and malevolence that exist in the world, which is hard to explain other than being metaphysically evil. It's difficult to articulate it to someone who hasn't experienced it, but imagine yourself being tortured by someone, then you will understand that evil exists. I think some humans are metaphysically evil. I would say that evil is the state of consciousness in which a person experience pleasure and happiness, drive and motivation, even bliss and thoughtful malevolent planning towards the suffering of others. This spirit or state of consciousness inhabit a lot of people in the world these people are what we may call evil. And the good people are those possessed by the spirit of good which is the opposite of the evil state of consciousness.
  22. Materialism teaches strength, responsibility, and satisfaction. A balance between materialism and spirituality has to take place in order to live a truly complete life. I'm pretty much against asceticism and living life in monk mode. Materialism is abundance, beauty and freedom. Money, women, drugs, alcohol, night clubs, clothes, food, cars, hotels... are all essential for a complete life. Materialism is just beautiful, enriching and fulfilling. A lot of fools pursue spirituality, instead of committing themselves to fixing their material conditions of life. There's wisdom in living a materialistic lifestyle. I will conclude with an italian music video illustrating the beauty of materialism:
  23. People will still defend Islam after this ?
