for the last 4 or 5 years i couldn't continue my last year of high school because i was so ill. Fast forward until now after a long journey, i overcame most of my health challenges, and i am back to normal. Yesterday i worked for 7 hours, exercised for an hour and studied for 3 hours. However today as i was studying physics, it was so goddamn hard that it made me want to kill myself, no joke. If it is either that or being a bum on the streets, why live life? And so here we are now.

Vegan thoughts of the day: Today i wanted to explore the theme of factory farmed education. Our education system is based on dehumanizing agents and treating them as products. The focus is not on the well being of the student but on the tangible results and efficiency. This draws a parallel with factory farming where sentient animals are treated as disposable products of consumption not as unique individuals. The problem with our education is that it is not tailored to each individual to achieve a state of well being, wisdom and happiness but is tailored towards mass education of the populus. How many innocent humans have lost their minds, been traumatized and subjugated to the stress of the threat of death in case of academic failure? The education system treats students the same way factory farms treat animals, cows, pigs, chicken, sheep, goats...

@Leo Gura I hate that. Well to be fair, i enjoyed pick up so much. If sales entails approaching people like pick up, i might like it.

@Leo Gura I like philosophy and history. But i hate the way it is taught in academia and school through brute force memorization.

@Leo Gura I love rap music, but my parents are dead set on not letting me go into an institute that teaches music production, because they think i won't get a job afterwards. I just had a conversation with them, they told me to study one hour a day instead of three hours. Hell, it seems like a dead end.

@Leo Gura The other options for the last year of high school are either economics and sociology, which i am not particularly fan of, or arabic and philosophy, which i hate arabic and i hate memorizing stuff which is required for philosophy in school. There are four branches, Biology and chemistry, which i am in, right now, but of course in it there's also physics and maths taught. Or physics and maths, or economics and sociology, or arabic and philosophy. And in all of them, i do not find myself. The other option would be to get into an institute that teaches music production: beatmaking, mixing and mastering. But i don't know if i will get a job after finishing the program. Fuck it i will just do heroin and be a bum on the streets. I am joking obviously.

@NewKidOnTheBlock The problem is in Lebanon you don't make much money without a degree, like probably less than 500 dollars a month. It is really messed up.

@Leo Gura My parents will never agree.

My plan is to go to university, major in computer science, to be able to make money and then pursue my life purpose which is being a rapper. The advantage of pursuing this degree is that i'll make decent money, and i'll be able to travel, and also afford the logistics to make pick up works. Then afterwards i'll be able to invest in my life purpose. This sounds like an optimal plan to me.

@Leo Gura But isn't this dishonesty ? If your goal is to have fun with a girl, wouldn't it be more honest to own it, and if you feel like it make it explicit, rather than being dishonest in trying not to talk about sex to manipulate a girl to have sex with you ?

@Leo Gura I was once in a taxis, and there was a girl behind us in the taxis, and i was telling the taxi driver how i want to have chemsex with a girl. Do you think the girl found it hot ? I remember when i went out of the taxis, she was staring at me.

The reason false ideas can have tremendous power is because they can penetrate the subconscious and become an experiential reality.

I was debating a lady about veganism, and she brought up the topic of alternative medicine. I was curious to learn about it, she mentioned dr berg and her favorite barbara o'neill. I am curious to learn about and make sense of alternative medicine and how it is different from conventional medicine.

I'm kind of confused, every time i contemplate the question, i come to the conclusion that i don't know.

I found this video to be quite interesting from a psychological standpoint. It's clear that vegans have a radically different philosophy from average people. A more empathetic, truthful view i would say.

This is a cool insight: For human animals to maintain their illusion and exploitation of non human animals, they have to justify it using the fact that non human animals don't speak their language, when in fact most human animals in the world do not speak the same language.

@Leo Gura With or without degree ? Plus i don't think i'll hate coding or anything. It won't be my deepest passion but i will be okay with it i think.
