The guy is probably worse than Putin. Not calling him out on his bs is really sad. At least Putin has to be ruthless considering he governs a very corrupt country like Russia. Meanwhile this clown actively degrated his country, attacking rule of law and democracy making Israel weaker in many ways. Not to mention his extremely nationalistic and racist positions pushing for Greater Israel. Removing this clown from office is the first step towards peace.

I see a lot of hate towards Biden and USA recently because of the war in Gaza. Even though the death toll is still lower than some other nasty wars enabled by other presidents, this is the first war that is documented so well via Instagram and other social medias. It is the first time people see the horrors of war daily on first hand accounts, without filters, and this triggers their emotional brain a lot more than numbers or political debates do. And therefore, I see comments like "USA has lost all credibility", "Biden is a genocide enabler" etc etc by many people including liberals. Biden is at risk at loosing against Trump even before this but now the Arab American support greatly decreased to the point where he can loose key states. I saw polls with tens of thousands of votes like: "Has West lost their moral high ground" etc with a 97% "Yes" response. On top of that, his support for Israel is illegal since Israel according to the UN is committing war crimes. Supplying them and supporting them without question makes you complicit and therefore guilty. You guys think this was an epic failure from a reputation standpoint on his last year of presidence? I am asking especially you Americans since I am not from there. Personally I live in the EU, and I see that most EU citizens, especially young ones are mad at the EU and support Palestine. And EU is a lot less supportive of Israel than USA is.

A full grown educated experienced adult cannot be radicalized by such things like this. Unless he lost family members or friends in that attack, there is no excuse. Also, those dying are kids. He is talking about kids not adult males that may support Hamas. By that logic every person in Eastern Europe that is old should want all Germans dead since they did 1000000x worse to them than Palestine ever did to Israel. What a monster... -
@Nivsch The only countries that fully support Israel are: USA (powerful Jew lobby), UK (they created them so gotta defend the mess they made), Germany (Holocaust guilt), Hungary (Openly racist against Muslims). The rest of the West is being critical in different degrees. Even Macron said it has gone too far.

The two hostages released reported being treated very well by Hamas, what makes you say they are in bad conditions? Hamas is not abusing the hostages in order to defend their image. They are realistically more at risk by being killed by IDF careless cluster bombing of Gaza than by Hamas. I saw part of an old documentary from some years ago where the kids were put in jail for months just for throwing rocks at soldiers. They were put in cages during cold nights and the judges would not even look at them but immedietly find them guilty. It was so bad the UN had to intervene for them to treat them better. Also if you want more recent proof. Stripped, beaten and blindfolded: new research reveals ongoing violence and abuse of Palestinian children detained by Israeli military | Save the Children International. Just google this. For some reason links cannot be sent here.

It is actually about non whites and Muslims being treated as inferior and less human and the world is tired of it. Which is why liberals are protesting about Palestine so much. They are tired of white priviledge and only whites lives mattering. They seek Muslim lives to have same value and are tired of Western Governmental hypocrisy. The fundamental cause of this revolt is non whites are tired of being seen as less worthy and Liberals which are the only people conscious enough to understand and see this, are voicing their hearts. When Russia does war crimes against Ukranians, all governments condemn it. When Israel does the same, "its complicated". This shows you everything.

Banning the Quran and equating it with Mein Kampf is an insult to free speech. Why does he not ban the Bible too?
-
Ukraine maybe. But smaller countries like Macedonia or Montengro are not that big and therefore not an issue. Romania also has more population than all of them combined and EU had no issue to let them in 2007 when the country was poorer than any country in Europe in 2023.
-
The issue with the guy is not only his anti muslim views towards immigration but also from what I read he is anti EU expansion, including Ukraine. Considering the influence of Russia, EU must expand as fast as possible to get all the countries which are not yet members, especially Western Balkans and his racist retoric is a big issue.

@Nivsch You seem like a reasonable person that is not full of hate, unlike some people on this forum pro Israel which are a lot more radical and harsh. But I fear that the ones in power in Israel and in the military are radicals which is causing all this. The second step towards peace after Hamas is gone, is for the current ring wing elements in the government of Israel to also go. I am sure we can agree on that.
-
@zazen Would you think it is better for Ukraine to give up the annexed territories by Russia and end the war for good or keep fighting and risk loosing even more territory and have more of its people dead. I feel like the war there is just costing Ukraine more and more.

According to International Law agencies, Israel has broken it countless times. USA supports Israel, by default they support a criminal. A criminal is someone that breaks the law. Someone that supports a criminal, that support is called "criminal support". Now, if you want to say Israel has not broken Interntional Laws and everyone is wrong, do not expect people to believe you.

I compare the Arabs in West Bank and Gaza. I compare it when a kid gets shot because he threw stones at a tank. I compare it with kids in West Bank spending their night in cages outside in cold temperatures and getting months in Israeli prisons without a proper trial. I compare it with people in Gaza that do not have any rights to leave or get in unless Israel wants them to. I compare it with Palestinian people having their skin and organs harvested by Israel authorities without their consent when they are dead.
-
Which is funny because I dont think Trump would have been nicer to Palestinians than Biden is. That is true but this seems like the final nail in the coffin. Also back then you did not have social media so you did not see the direct effects on ordinary people, especially the kids. When people see kids dying daily via social media it has a psychological effect on them which is much bigger than a news report saying "500 civilians died today" or seeing destroyed buildings.

@Vrubel The death toll says otherwise. The UN says otherwise. Why would I trust governments which are biased instead of unbiased entitles and numbers?
-
@Vrubel Both Hamas and IDF are monsters. They should be hanged for crimes agaisnt humanity. This is basic human justice sense.
-
Since most people use this thread I will write a comment here (I wrote it on another thread today) " You guys here that support Israel are really naive. The reason the death toll is so high, is not by fault but by design. Dahiya doctrine - Wikiwand I will quote: "The Dahiya doctrine, or Dahya doctrine, is a military strategy of asymmetric warfare, outlined by former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of General Staff Gadi Eizenkot, which encompasses the destruction of the civilian infrastructure of regimes deemed to be hostile as a measure calculated to deny combatants the use of that infrastructure and endorses the employment of "disproportionate force" to secure that end. The doctrine is named after the Dahieh neighborhood of Beirut, where Hezbollah was headquartered during the 2006 Lebanon War, which were heavily damaged by the IDF" This is what they are doing in Gaza as a response to the Hamas attack. It is done to beat them so badly, to crush them so much that they will never dare to raise against Israel again. Basically to terrorize the entire population of Gaza into submission so every man knows if they dare to attack Israel, their entire family will be killed in response. This will make them think twice about doing so. I dont understand why is it so hard for you guys to accept it? It does make logical and strategical sense (although I think it is not effective). The Germans had a similar policy against Slavs partisan attacks during the second world war. They burn down villages close to where the Partisan attacks happened in response. This is not some new invention, it is textbook military strategy." I see. Their government is shit to be honest. Their own people hate them. I think when their leader dies they will be overthrown by a revolution because I think most Iranians are tired of them. Plenty of protests lately about it.
-
@Vrubel So by your logic, Hamas attack is justified since Gazas have been absolutely massacred historically by Israelis. 2500 civilians dead in 2014 alone. Many of Hamas fighters are orphans. By your logic they did a justifiable act by killing people that support the country that took their loved ones away. By killing people that voted for the governments who threw missles in their houses and killed their parents. Their rage is justified. This is your logic. And this is EXACTLY how they think. We are killing occupiers who killed our families. This is what fuels them to kill the civilians in Israel. YOUR sort of thinking. DISGUSTING. Unless this way of thinking ends the cycle of hatred will never end.
-
Iranians oppress their own people but not other countries or groups. I do not see Iran stealing land or invading anyone like Israel does.
-
@zazen The issue with Israelis is that they do not see themselves as oppressors and settlers. Unless they do, then they will always play the victim.
-
They also interviewed Jews in concentration camps saying "we are ok here", as propaganda movies. PragerU is pure horshit blue propaganda. I would not take it seriously. Also, is this about West Bank or Gaza? Because that is where the horrible things happen. They are poor because of Israel, so of course Israel is more desirable. When you become rich at expense of others, that is blood money.
-
War against childreen and women you meant? Because most dying are them. They killed civilians, which is horrible but nothing new. Google "massacres" you will see hundreds and hundreds of them through history. I dont know why the world lost its shit about this specific massacre. Serbians massacred 8000 in Bosnia for example. Just in this century you had dozens of massacres, some with higher death tolls. But of course when rich countries get massacred everyone looses their shit. Typical. Your language is pure propaganda. "Seal of humanity". Bruh go open a history book. They did textbook massacre stuff. Nothing new. So is Israeli of course. They do textbook terror bombing. However Israeli is not getting condemned for their textbook bullshit. I do agree that Israel is somewhat hold off by the international community but still it is getting a lot of free passes. You cannot say "way more casualties" when you have 40.000 tonnes of bombs dropped on an area the size of London in 1 month and a half.

The West is not a racist ethno state like Israel is. Israel is the most racist first world country in the world. The war has been ongoing for decades. Not clear who started what. Israel is also a terrorist government. At least the current one. Not much more developed than Hamas. UN and every non biased party says otherwise. I trust them more than a nation full of liars like Isarel is. And so does the rest of the world. Trusting Israel more than the UN or Red Cross is comical. There is some truth to that but if Israel wanted the death toll would be way lower regardless.

I love how Israel uses the "We are a democracy" to elevate themselves morally from the rest of the region. What are human rights good for if they dont apply to you if you are Palestinian? The Gulf countries have none of the things you wrote above yet many people from all over the world live there and they rarely immigrate. How come?
