  1. Bush was the president of the US. The biggest superpower of the world. BiBi is a prime minister of a small country with 10 million people. There is 0 reason for him not to be trialed. And the ICC did launch an arrest warrant for Putin. I doubt you can make the claim that Israel is any near as powerful as Russia is. All it has going for it, is USA support which can be cut off if the US feels that Israel and especially the BiBi government is becoming too much of a burden. Note that here I am not talking about US abandoning Israel but more about abandoning BiBi and his radical right wing government so they can be replaced by a more moderate government that would benefit Israel and the Middle East at large. It does not seem to me so impossible to do. I dont know what you think.
  2. Bibi with his other war criminal croonies must be punished according to international law. Regardless of whether it is a genocide or not, it is beyond question that collective punishment and countless war crimes have happened. People responsible must be properly punished for this. Otherwise, it sends to the world the signal that if you are diplomatically supported by the West, then you can do whatever you want. That is not the world anyone wants to live in. Just like you Israelis want the Hamas leaders that did the October massacres punished (I totally understand the sentiment), the other way around works as well.
  3. @Merkabah Star To think Palestinians need to deal with lunatics like that guy on a daily basis in the West Bank. Imagine that lunatic also being backed up by the army. Then they wonder why terrorist attacks happen. Not that I support the attacks but against such lunatics you do not have much choice I fear, especially when the law and army are against you. I feel like that guy's mindset is very common for the settlers in the West Bank which is where the violence happens. Nobody cares if Tel Aviv Israelis are peaceful since there is no settlements there.
  4. I have read that the ICC is making a case to arrest top Israeli officials for war crimes. Do you think that should happen and do you think it will actually happen? I think most of the IDF elite and key Israeli politicians like Ben Gvir, Gallant and Bibi himself should be trialed for war crimes similar to how top Serbian officials were trialed for the Bosnian and Kosovo war crimes. What do you think?
  5. Just the fact that we actually have mass graves and people are still questioning whether Israel is comitting war crimes blows my mind away.
  6. @Merkabah Star + The guardian article I sent which says UN has not said the half number thingy. So there seems to be some confusion here about whether UN said it or not. Guardian is British media btw, you cannot call them "anti Israel"
  7. @Nivsch The funny part is that even if it is true (Can you please send us sources from UN itself so it can be fully official), that would leave the kid death toll at around 7000. So still 175 times more than Israeli kid death toll. And this is at this moment. It will increase more since they seem to invade Rafah. So still unacceptable. https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/may/13/gaza-ministry-revises-figures-for-women-and-children-killed Also I found this. There seems to be conflicting information about this issue
  8. He seems quite pro Israeli to me. Especially in some interviews. In others he is indeed more centrist. There is a reason why so many people attack him over his views regarding this conflict. Considering critizing Israel can get you fired in British Media (there are cases of it happening when Israeli officials were pressed too hard in interviews) I do not blame him to be honest. I do not think he is racist as some say, just is limited in what he can express.
  9. It would be really cool if you made a video about capitalism and how it compares to other systems to explain this stuff. I tried to do some research but you seem to include deeper points so it would make for a good video in my opinion. "Understanding capitalism" or something like that. Just an idea I had Also welcome back, I saw you made a new video.
  10. I was referring purely from an economic perspective, not social rights perspective. We are told that we are richer today than in the past and when I read how easy it was to carry a family back then economically wise, it makes me think that was a lie. But I am referring here to the US; In other countries like India China etc life is definitely way better now from an economic perspective. I wonder where all that wealth went in the US considering US is like 10 times richer today than in the 1960s. Does not seem to go to your average American.
  11. I have read that in the past in the US you could easily sustain a family as a working man, working a normal factory job. Housing was also way cheaper (relative to the wages). These days you need both the man and the wife to work and even then it is a struggle. One of the main reasons why people are having less kids. Has the purchasing power decreased?
  12. @Bobby_2021 The entire war cabinet of Israel should be hanged for crimes against humanity. Bring bang hanging
  13. @Merkabah Star Just remember that when everyone shits on Biden for unwavering support of Israel, remember Trump is far worse regarding this issue.
  14. Like Judaism or Christianity is better lol
  15. Do you think he is objective or bit Anti US? I have seen tons of stuff and he criticizes a ton the US. But i rarely see him criticize Russia or Putin for example. USA are not angels but Russia is neither. Or is his job to point out the US bs since he is from there?
  16. Goes both ways. NATO also provokes. Unfortunately Russian and especially Soviet occupation and influence were so disastrous historically, that is has left these countries traumatized and downright Russian phobic. Hence they see all Russia does as bad. I know because my country used to be a Soviet puppet (but it broke down much much earlier than 1991) 2. Regarding your second point, I saw that Russia in the 1990s opened up the West and had horrible consequences. Their economy went to total shit. Only after Putin did things start to improve. So probably Putin viewed that as a mistake and that Russia has to do its own thing. Also he tried to join NATO and NATO did not take that well. So to me Putin seems like that guy that tried to join the cool people s group, was shunned down and now is a bit bitter and wants to make his own cool kids group
  17. @Merkabah Star And to think he is a Jew too! Shows there is hope out there. I am very impressed by American Jews support for this. It shows to me that Israel brainwashing is so strong more than anything else, when people from the same group go against their actions
  18. If governments wont do anything to stop a genocide, It is up to the citizens to do it. Beautiful thing they are doing. Massive support Israel needs to be cancelled as a country and left alone
  19. How come if Hamas is so much prone to killing civilians the ratio between civilians and soldiers killed is quite similar. Hamas killed 2x civilians than soldiers, you claim IDF is similar. You also called such a ratio 'acceptable in war". If Hamas cared about killing civilians so much, wouldnt the ratio be like 10x more civilians than soldiers? Also dont you think some of the civilians dead, got caught in the crossfire? I mean IDF killed 3 Israeli hostages in Gaza because on the heat of the moment people make mistakes and stuff happens. Perhaps some of those 800 confirmed civilians died during the fighting between IDF and Hamas? If IDF did such mistakes in Gaza, why not here too? We still lack proof of how many were massacred without restraint compared to how many died in crossfires. I am not denying some civilians were intentionally targeted and massacred, but we lack the concrete number. Perhaps it is 300? 100? 500? Who knows...
  20. Gaza is close to 15.000 kids. I did not see such numbers anywhere else. So number wise and proportion wise it is much worse. The only war that comes close recent times is Syrian war and especially the Chechen war (in terms of proportions). It is not just ethnic cleansing in Gaza. Close to 2% of the ENTIRE population of Gaza has died. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_Turkmen_genocide#:~:text=The Iraqi Turkmen genocide refers,of their land in Iraq. It is genocide this one in Turkemnistan. Did not know. Thanks for sharing. Also time matters, Gaza is 6 months. The other conflicts are years long. Ukraine is 2 plus years, Turkmenistan happened in 3 years and Tibet has been going on for decades. So time lenght matters do. I think Ukraine and Tibet are indeed ethnic cleansings. But Gaza to me is now more on genocide than ethnic cleansing. Especially with the man made famine happening. Same for Rohinyga (indeed genocide). Note: I am not discounting that all these conflicts were horrible and should stop. But they are in different leagues of brutality and overall carnage, that is all I meant.
  21. @Bobby_2021 Is this guy to be trusted? He seems like a more extreme Mearsheimer to me. I really like Mearsheimer but this guy could not even name 1 bad thing to say about Putin. Seems a bit biased to me. But I do trust him when he says US is to be blamed for this too. They clearly care more about hurting Russia than helping Ukraine.
  22. Joe Biden, Macron and Schultz are right wing? Ok got it. Because they are the genocide supporters I see here.
  23. I love how the 300 pages thread about this conflict was closed by Leo and now we have a new thread, basically rebranded where the same people say the same things with barely any agreements. Humans are hilarious.
  24. I am talking about the hypocrisy of not calling out war crimes when specific countries do it. Not about BRICS or anything like that. Countless Western governments are not right governments and still they do not call out Israel's crimes. USA, Netherlands, Germany, France being prime examples. Right now none of these countries have right wing governments yet they did what I wrote above. So I will repeat my question: Why the mass graves and massacres committed by Israel against Palestinians are not condemned by the non right wing Western governments (France, Germany, USA, Netherlands) like the massacres committed by Russians against Ukrainians.
