Bro I am pro Palestinian and have often written here about how bad Israel is and how Palestinians are the victims here. But to be honest this guy was a piece of shit, Ben Gvir equivalent of Palestinians, a hardcore radical who was genuinely genocidal in intent and who tortured countless Palestinians who were accused of being Israeli spies. His death should not be mourned among us Green pro Palestinain anti Zionists. There was a reason why the ICC wanted him arrested for war crimes, he is the main mastermind for the October attacks and all the war crimes that happened there.

@Raze Where are you from?
-
Well the fact that most people on this forum tend to discuss, argue, disagree with you on all sorts of topics shows that people here do not worth ship you or treat everything you say as some unquestionable truth. So i think it is safe to say that although we greatly respect and admire and value your work and opinions, we do not treat it as an absolute truth. So no worries, all chill.

Why are you writting here then? If you see it as pointless.

Issue Leo is saying Nivsch is that Israel gives special rights and privileges to Jews over non Jews. The percentage of population is irrelevant, what matters is that a Jewish person should be equal to a non Jewish person.

If you compare the West bombing of Yugoslavia it was far more surgical and less civilian deaths than this war for example. I have not seen the West in the last 10 years or so intentionally target journalists, medics, hospitals etc. Did the US have a policy of sniping childreen in the Middle East? Many other examples. The war crimes in Gaza are perhaps the worst of the 21st Century. To be honest you do not need to look at Al Jazeera or other media outlets which Israelis percieve as anti Jewish or biased against Israel. Just read what B'Tselem, they are Israeli and they seem to well report a lot of the horrible things going on there. You can educate yourself just by reading Israeli sources. Lastly and this is off topic. Which Israeli leader would you prefer to be in power if Bibi steps down?
-
I will go back and research. Busy right now. Just your tone seems to be a bit apologetic. Calling you Pro Israel was perhaps a bit of an exageration. My apologies.

@Leo Gura @Nivsch Issue I have with Israel is that it is not just Bibi or Ben Gvir or Smotrich. The entire political sphere historically has been filled with war criminals who conduct war in the most barbaric manners. You have Ariel Sharone for once, who literally personally oversaw the "Sabra and Shatila" massacre where 1500-3500 people were killed in 2 days. Then we have Begin who was being so barbaric in his assault on Lebanon, Reagan, an AMERICAN PRESIDENT had to call him and tell him to "stop this holocaust" for him to put an end to it. Lastly we have Olmert who did shit lot of war crimes and collective punishment in the 2006 Lebanon war. All of them in the last 40 years or so. Not to mention Naftali Bennet would not be any less barbaric in the current wars if he had power given by what he has said. Their ENTIRE political sphere is filled with war criminals. Therefore I doubt just changing hands of power will improve things much and I doubt most Israeli leaders would have prosecuted the war much differently. Keep in mind the ICC charges for war crimes are not towards Ben Gvir or Smotrich but towards Gallant, the minister of defense. I rarely hear people shit on him. It is always these 3 (Bibi, Gvir, Smotrich). Yet according to the International court Gallant should be in jail for war crimes. if you want sources for these claims feel free to let me know. The only reasonable one was Rabin who came from the left Labour party and was killed for being reasonable. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong

You seem to be very apologetic for their barbarism that is why I wondered.
-
Or perhaps the pro Palestinians views correlate with Truth
-
Are you pro Israeli? You seem to be. If yes, why?
-
Damn Leo, what has happened. You were quite soft on Israel but on last weeks, especially since the Pager attack, you have become as harsh as the pro Palestinians here. I am surprised. Did something specific happen or you just read more on the situation?

What the West should do is give Israel the Russia treatment. Cut them from SWIFT, sanction the shit out of them and cut ties with Israel. Obviously also put an arms embargo on them. If Israel using purely its own means still wants to fight its wars, then fine. What we want is Israel to stop being a spoiled brat that gets away with every evil the human mind can come up with without consequences. If they are willing to continue even after facing those consequences then ok. Russia keeps on the war even with all the Western sanctions and consequences. Israel is free to do so. But Israel should face those first. It has yet to face shit.

I think it is valid to celebrate dead IDF soldiers but not dead Israel civilians. Would you expect Polish not to celebrate the death of SS officers? Because that is basically what IDF are to Palestinians and especially Gazans. But my question was about the tent bombing which was sent here and whose videos of people being burned really made me sick.

@Leo Gura Is this guy Max good? I see him often on Judge Napolitano. I also see Aaron Mate and I like that guy.

I am happy you woke up to the truth. I kept telling here that a lot of the Hamas actions which Israelis claimed were shameless lies. Not to say they did not kill civilians, just the matter HOW they killed was lied about to make them look worse. There is a difference when you read "X group shot 50 civilians" versus "X group burned and beheaded 50 civilians". I also believed it at first to be honest, but then I did research and found a lot of the horrible claims were debunked. 1 example which stood out to me at first was a report that 2 packs of 10 year old kids were tied with chains and burned alive in 1 of the kibutzes. I found it really really barbaric and fully believed it. Then some months later, it was debunked as a lie and they never showed real proof of it. I felt like a fool...
-
@zazen Why do they do this? Just for fun?
-
@Leo Gura Have you read about how Israel killed its own people during October 7th and lied a lot about what Hamas did, making them look worse. Or you still believe everything Israel claimed that Hamas did? I keep hearing "they burned babies" for example by pro Israelis but only 1 baby was killed on the whole attack and the baby was not burned. Same with "beheading people", which I found no proof of. The only thing Pro Israelis claim which I found proof of is rape.

Who are qassam brigate?
-
They did it with Nasrallah who was the leader of Hezbollah by bombing 6 residential buildings. At first Israel claimed 300 killed. So for them it was ok to kill 300 people to get the leader of Hezbollah. Considering it is the very top guy, I am unsure whether it is a proportional attack. I would say no, but I doubt USA would not be willing to sacrifice 300 people to get Bin Laden for example. So it is tricky. But this guy was NOT a military guy for Hezbollah but a political guy. Member of Parliament basically. That is what I read. And they tried to take him out. I know they did similar assassinations of guys, including the top Hamas guy in Iran and little to no collateral damage. The fact that they did not do it here seems to me that they simply did not want to bother, which is a red flag. But that is from what I read so far. I know a girl whose house was destroyed in the South of Lebanon from Israeli strikes and she said there were no Hezbollah members operating there. It was destroyed and had no military importance. Luckily nobody died because they had left beforehand but it is still messed up. It makes me think they are targeting civilian buildings even if no Hezbollah base there. Which is a war crime.
-
Look at @Nivsch He is Israeli yet open enough to look at the sources Leo sent. That is the spirit of the work of this forum, to be open minded. Try to also do the same. I know it is hard as an Israeli but this work is not easy nor for the common folk.

This is off topic but do you see the war in Ukraine being settled anytime soon? Sorry to ask here but I notice you are very active here compared to the Ukranian war threads.
-
I agree with the first part but regarding the second part. Do you consider the current West Bank government to be a genocidal government? From what I have seen they are miles better than Hamas and even cooperate with Israel forces often.

Hezbollah political official survives Israeli assassination attempt: Report A senior Hezbollah political official survived an assassination attempt on Thursday night, three anonymous security sources have told the Reuters news agency, as the Israeli military carried out its largest attack yet on central Beirut. Wafiq Safa, the chief of Hezbollah’s liaison and coordination unit, which works with Lebanese security agencies, was reportedly the target as Israeli fighter jets bombed a densely-packed neighbourhood in the heart of Beirut, killing at least 22 people and injuring 117 others. The Israeli military did not issue an evacuation order before carrying out the strike, which was only the third to hit central Beirut since the start of its bombing campaign in late September. I am not military nor legal expert but isnt it a war crime to basically try to "assassinate" someone by bombing an entire bloc of apartments without any notice killing and injuring 170 people. All to get 1 guy. Who is not even a military guy but a political guy. Like, is this considered fair in war? I remember Israel assassinated some Hezbollah guys in Beirut many months ago and there were barely any causalities and little to no damage. Precise strikes. What happened to those?

I dont care what Israelis say. Ethnic cleansing is wrong. I say it is wrong based on international law and my internal moral compass. That is independent of what Israelis care to admit. Maybe they rationalize it as something not wrong since they did the same beforehand. Or they are so biased that when they do it is fine but when it is done to them it is not. That statement was based on my own judgement.
