  1. Ditch the woke ideology stuff. Many people just get annoyed when they hear it imo.
  2. No. As Emerald said. Seeds get planted. Ground need to be fertile and so on.
  3. Yea Iran has much more potential and interesting history better womens rights etc. Personally i don’t care what Saudi Arabia does. If they want to have less womens rights and more religious (imo backwards) more authoritarian etc it’s totally fine. Maybe their system suits them better. Also i’m not saying western is always better but miss me with “they are developed”
  4. Is it? Is there a lot of science coming from Saudis a lot of Nobel price laureates? Saudi is very backwards culturally imo. Yea they have a lot of good infrastructure and such because of oil money. But was it Saudis who designed and built the burj Khakifa? Nope it was American architects and probably Indian workers. In Saudi Arabia only like last year women were allowed to drive. 100s of people executed every year 🥲 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women's_rights_in_Saudi_Arabia https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2024/09/saudi-arabia-highest-execution-toll-in-decades-as-authorities-put-to-death-198-people/
  5. Because of Atatürk. "What reforms did Atatürk make? The leading legal reforms instituted included a secular constitution (laïcité) with the complete separation of government and religious affairs, the replacement of Islamic courts and Islamic canon law with a secular civil code based on the Swiss Civil Code, and a penal code based on that of Italy (1924–37)" Abolished the arab script More womens rights closer to Europe and so on
  6. Yea but i’m talking about in the last 150 yrs. The golden age of Islam is over 800 yrs ago. Yea Egypt was really developed bro. Yea 3000 yrs ago 🥲
  7. Yea Islam seemingly really holds countries back and makes them easier to divide. Turkey is doing alright with science and tech it seems.
  8. If Islamists take over Syria they will probably bring it back to the middle (or dark) ages. No science. No progress.
  9. Ok 👌 But you don’t need to be sorry. It’s just your opinion.
  10. Yea because it’s much better with Russian, Saudi and Iranian, Turkish influence? I mean in a perfect world there wouldn’t be any bad outside influence. But that’s seemingly just not realistic.
  11. Turkish backed forces allegedly already pushing back SDF and Kurds “A Turkish drone strike in a Kurdish-held area in northern Syria killed 11 civilians including six children, a war monitor said Monday. ”
  12. Do you (as a Syrian) think the overthrow could and did happen at this point because Russia is busy with Ukraine and Iran is busy with Israel? "Iran and Russia the two big losers"
  13. Maybe it’s just time to draw new borders in the middle east altogether. The borders drawn by colonial piwers seem to fail over and over.
  14. What’s also funny is that during that trip. The body started to feel so uncomfortable and tensiony at times that i began doing like natural stretching and yoga poses. So in a way they go hand in hand psychedelics and this type of stretching yoga.
  15. Gosh psychedelics are still wild. Few hours ago remembered i had some 2cb laying around. Thought i could do a simple little self loving trip like the guy talked about in the other section. But instead ended with a few hours of dipping in and out of sanity. 🦭
  16. You are also speculating though. You are speculating that it’ll turn out "good"
  17. Yea i agree let’s just wait and see what happens in the next few years. I hope Syria becomes safe and many Syrian refugees in Europe and Turkey etc. can go home and build their country back up.
  18. For "consciousness expansion" or whatever is what he meant i guess they are "powerful" meth isn’t.
  19. It’s wild and seems so frustrating this heavy metal chelation. I did a round of dmsa. But stories like yours (and not a great sleeper anyway) scare me from trying dmsa+ala. Stay safe.
