I think your hate for Trump is blinding you at the moment. France, Sweden and Italy don't have right wing governments and they have about the same death toll as the US, a bit lower. Do you also blame their president/prime ministers/governments for all their covid deaths? Could have Trump handled it better? Sure, absolutely. To say that he is responsible for the covid deaths is such a silly toxic thing to say imo. but we'll agree to disagree and leave it at that.

i've tried some of youtube, also michael sealey for example. they're very relaxing etc. but i don't think it changed my life. i have a friend who went to a hypnotherapist though and swears by it

Why wouldn't it? Probably for safety, community, mating, finding food, raising children etc. reasons Wolves, a lot of Apes, Elephants, Birds, Dolphins etc. live in groups/tribes too. We have lived like that for hundreds of thousands of years

That wouldn't really explain why shias/sunnis fight, protestants/catholics fought, people of different sports teams fight etc. it's all just tribalism which is ingrained in us but we don't need to/shouldn't feed it. And with different "races" the tribe thing is just very visible. Japan has been notoriously racist in the second world war and also lighter japanese from the north have been very racist towards darker japanese from the south, they haven't looked at them as real japanese and as lazy etc. for most of the time. I also know a white guy who lived in Japan and speaks japanese fluently, has a Japanese wife etc. and he told us that Japanese people in the public transport talk about him racist all the time because they think he doesn't understand it.

Or are you still doing that? If so what's your experience? I see these Satsangs on youtube sometimes and they look nice. And recently thought it would be nice to have a group to meditate with in a room, where i could also ask questions etc. Even visited a Buddhist group about 2 weeks. Not sure if this style is too religious for me though. I'd prefer a group in the Eckhart Tolle/Osho/Sadhguru etc. style of meditation and talking, where there aren't a lot of specific religious attachments. Obviously they tell some religious stories etc. which i don't mind. Haven't done a lot of sitting meditation lately or basically none.

i mean the way he talks about abortion and some other things, i really don't know then he said he and god wants him to be the leader of the free world, when joe asked him why he didn't even really have a good answer he has some good ideas about school, communities, self sufficiency etc. but many people have good ideas doesn't seem very mentally stable and seems to have a big ego

Yeah but there are levels to this, dreams in dreams in dreams like inception. This dream here i always come back to and it is very gradually/steadily, i could build a house here and live in it for 30 yrs. Other dreams in this dream are very fleeting and gone in seconds.
