So pathetic and somehow sad, all this guys JR made famous in some way and gave platform to (Lex Fridman, Tim Dillon, all this comedians & mma guys etc.) now sucking Joes dick as hard as it gets ? zero critics, nothing ... it couldn't be more pathetic. I mean if any of his so called 'friends' truly have cojones would tell him directly the truth to stop spreading misinformation & how dangerous it is and would give him a real feedback / honest reflection, but no, they are looking at him like being kind of cult leader, agreeing and repeating everything JR says using zero critical thinking whatsoever... -

Stage 1. The Unhappy Slave – the typical employee selling half of his lifetime to others, hating his job to the bone, and living Friday to Sunday. Far away from following any kind of life purpose whatsoever Stage 2. The Happy Slave – the dedicated employee selling half of his lifetime to others, but at least working something that he loves or in the same field related to his life purpose, still far away from following his life purpose and living on his full potential and creativity Stage 3. The Unhappy Half-Slave - self employed / company owner in a filed that he hates, having the freedom & the flexibility to organize his own time, still depending financially on his clients. Far away from following any kind of life purpose whatsoever, but at least has some degree of freedom Stage 4. The Happy Half-Slave - self employed / company owner in a filed of his life purpose, having the freedom & the flexibility to organize his own time, still depending financially on his clients. NOT far away from following fully his life purpose and has some degree of freedom Stage 5. The Unhappy Free Man – absolutely independent, no need to sell any of his time whatsoever, still don’t happy because doesn’t have any life purpose or any higher meaning in his life. Free, but still not happy Stage 6. The Happy Free Man - absolutely independent, no need to sell any of his time and at the same time living his life purpose, working only for the sake of his life purpose, a free unrestrained pure artist (*artist in the broader meaning)

No, unfortunately I am not there now, but I am enjoying stage 4 at the moment and can not complain ? I've jumped basically from stage 2 to stage 4 and as I've described above you should never follow the money. For example the first year after founding my company I've earn about 40% less than my nine-to-five job, no paid holidays, no security, no bonuses nothing, but my happiness level jumped like by 10000% ? The trick here is to do what you love. By doing what you love you are mentally not that attached to money and your deep satisfaction comes from somewhere else and not from money, so the decision for me to earn less but be more independent working for my own company was very easy. To achieve stage 6 is of course not that easy for somebody starting from the bottom. Stage 6 would be a mix between clever investments & optimized lifestyle. My goal is somewhere by 2030 to be there, but let's see ?

Sure, they could be many sub / mix stages etc. But the last stage would be always to become a Free Happy Man.

It is not any particular concept but my own truth proven by life itself ?, so it is more like a deep realization I've had and was always my compass whatever i took any decisions about my career / life purpose / life. Now being at stage 4 and seeing many of my friends losing their way mostly chasing money / security / status and enslaving themself forever i feel sorry, but the lever of social / culutural brainwashing makes it almost impossible for most to realise it.

My opinion is that you are describing or rather fearing the worst case scenario. But this worst case scenario comes with every new technology and until now we always survivev I think if metaverse become what Zucks dreams of it will be similar breakthrough like the invention of the Internet some decades ago, so lots of new oportionities and lots of new negatives. But one thing is for sure the tech companies are gaining more and more power & that's pretty scary. I think one day they will be more powerful than any country in the world. I thing this is almost inevitable under the current system. -

I've never read the Quran, but the Old Testament is pretty hard core violent. If felt reading it like one wrong step, one small mistake and you are a death person ? But what I would like to understand and you may explain, if possible. The Old Testament being the oldest was pretty brutal / violent. The New Testament than less violent. Is it any cultural / historical explanation why the Quran being the newest from the three holy books went back to pretty brutal / violent? It is somehow contrainuitive, normaly I would suggest the newer the religion, the less violence in its holy book. -

A mma commentator being the worlds most trusted adviser for covid treatment during the biggest pandemic ever & JRE the biggest media out there... definitely signs that the world is ending soon -

I mean you are asking something and quoting my exact & explicit answer to the very question you ask... Here again: Being a good leader with such big influence like JR, hi should be responsible for all his followers as much as possible: from the super stupid to the super intelligent audience. And don't forget 'to be stupid' is always a relative notion, so you may find ppl that belive in shit like that stupid, but compare to other ppl. you can be the stupid one that believes in smtg that's obviously wrong for lets say a mega intelligent person! So the wise way for any media /podcast / leader is to not spread any kind of misinformation without expecting that all viewers / followers are highly intelligent -

Sorry, but I don't have any clue what you are talking about and how this relates to the topic? You've completely lost me. Again, the only thing what I am saying is that i have a glimpse of realization to what all great spiritual teachers are trying to tell us: being is primary, everything else is secondary. And than I made a point that we are living in the completely opposite fashion what's causes lots of troubles. Somehow I can't connect the dots and follow you with almost everything you are saying. -
It's funny, I recently realized that there are basically two main schools teaching about the meaning of life. The funny thing they are the complete opposite and one if it is false: - the achievement oriented - almost all my life the driven force for me in life & career was this notion that I should achieve something greater than the self, to leave great legacy, serving as much as possible to a great noble heroic life purpose. This was so obvious for me that I never doubt it, I thought that's the human nature, that's evolution and it is the only possible greater meaning of life. Being 35 now after realizing some of my dreams personally and careerwise I've got how wrong I was. The achievement oriented meaning of life isn't somehow basic human core nature, but rather a construct if the society (especially the western one) to serve to itself. It is so obvious but i never look it that way, a materialist society / culture has to brainwash us to believe that way, it is a survival mechanism of the culture! This materialistic kind of meaning of life is not only super wrong but the complete opposite of the true one! - the second school is the spiritual one. Here a quote of Alan Watts that says it all: The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.

Completely agree with what you are saying and there is no demonizing of any progressive movement whatsoever. The deep realization that being is always primary don't mean that you do nothing, you build nothing and you create nothing, it means rather the opposite that the doing in this case is a product out of joy, play and pure creativity. In today's society almost all of our doing is out of fear. And this 'fear based doing' by those little scary egos that we are is super destructive in so many way. -

Nope. This example with Trump is for me almost as stupid and dangerous as the statement of JR about the vaccines. And its obviously an extreme example to make a point. Pretty arrogant claim. Being a good leader with such big influence like JR, hi should be responsible for all his followers as much as possible: from the super stupid to the super intelligent audience. And don't forget 'to be stupid' is always a relative notion, so you may find ppl that belive in shit like that stupid, but compare to other ppl. you can be the stupid one that believes in smtg that's obviously wrong for lets say a mega intelligent person! Of course they are. I never said there in some way better. To be honest I never watched tv, but rather watched JRE in the past and loved this podcast for its openmindess , that's why I am kind of disappointed what direktion JRE took. And about Foxnews, I think media company that shitty can exist only in the States. I've never seen something even similar in Europe ? -
Ivan Dimi replied to Ivan Dimi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's basically everything what all great spiritual teachers teach since beginning of time ? Buddha, Jesus... all current ones Alan Watts, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Osho, Eckhart Tolle, Sadhguru and so on. It doesn't matter, pick one and he / she will tell you the same truth that Being is primary. The problem is you can not grasp this truth now, you are not conscious of it. This can not be understood, but rather realized. You obviously can not realized this, so no amount of explanation can help. And even your reaction shows how much your ego is hurt. It is like a self defence mechanism of the ego. -

Look, the main point with Joe Rogan for me isn't how stupid / intelligent / funny / not funny / gossip show / right / left / conservation or liberal he is. My main point is that he is one of the biggest media out there right now and is spreading misinformation. That´s not funny and super dangerous. Especially in a society where nobody respects and believes the established media , any kind of governments or mainstream science, doctors etc. millions of ppl look at guys like Joe Rogan and follow him like sheeps. So again if Joe Rogan was actually very smart he would never and never give any advises about anything outside his expertise!, because he absolutely knows that out there millions of ppl. will follow his advises. I remembered ppl. drinking disinfectant after Trump suggested injecting disinfectant as treatment for covid Being a person that popular like Joe Rogan you should be super careful with what and how you say always. Of course that isn't easy because being basically a gossip show you say lots and lots of shit, and most of the shit you say (aliens, conspiracy theories, Alex Jones) is not harmful, but rather funny, some other shit like false information about covid vaccine is serious stuff and very dangerous. -

My intuition tells me that even that notion that we're here to learn something or life as a test is 100% social / cultural collective ego built purpose that serves itself, so it belongs again to the first category I've described above of false life purposes / meanings of life. That's true. Hardly no-one thinks that way. If you asked me some years ago I even thought and believed that to learn / to achieve / to hustle / to conquer / to compete is absolutely fundamental to be human, so to say is the essential human nature. But now I thing this isn't true and is product of very very deep & very very long hundreds or thousands generations of brainwashing. It doesn't mean that during the BEEING you can not learn, but in that concept i see learning more like a game. You learn something (or a lot) by enjoying this thing you have called a brain. So learning comes second after being and is a byproduct of enjoying life (actually the complete opposite of everything I was told in my whole life ). And think about it doesn't matter what you do or don't do (´do´ in the ego sense ) you always learn, so it is actually impossible to not learn. And paradoxically by doing nothing you may learn even more. For me in my career being the most relaxed & carefree is the time I am most creative. -

I can add additional to the environmental & ecological devastation the demage we are causing to our minds. I am leaving in Switzerland, one of the richest countries in the world and met so many young unhappy people with depression, burnouts etc. It doesn't actually make any sense to be that way, it is absurd. -
Ivan Dimi replied to Ivan Dimi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yep, i hope this new age is coming soon I wouldn't even call it conservative, it is like the only true way to live, the other is a constant future projection of the ego, a projection that doesn't exist and a future that's imaginary. So for me that isn't more conservative, but rather closer to the truth. -
Ivan Dimi replied to Ivan Dimi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, it's funny. they all are saying exactly the same thing for centuries over and over again . But for us as western culture brainwashed creatures with huge egos is very hard to grasp it. I guess this simple truth isn't sexy enough for our little egos I am really shocked how much brainwashing is going on almost in any culture. -
Ivan Dimi replied to Ivan Dimi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's is exactly what the materialistic society propagandize & it is a huge trap. The notion that you can create any real truthful meaning is absurd, because that thing 'YOU' is a social cultural constructed ego, shaped in a way to serve a practical agenda or better to ensure the survival of the given society. An ego can not create any true meaning, because the ego itself isn't true. Life can have only one meaning > to be / to live, everything else is a game / pyramid scheme / house of cards / called it as you like. And if you think about it, all spiritual teachers pointed that same direction Buddha, Jesus... and even the current ones Alan Watts, Eckhart Tolle, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Sadhguru... everyone repeating the same thing over and over again. But it cannot be thought through, it can only be realized. Here a quote of Jim Carrey realizing the same thing: “I wish everyone could get rich and famous and everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that's not the answer.” -

1. Joe Rogan is not a journalist 2. JRE is a man gossip show, that's pretty funny some time 3. Yes, hi invites lots of very interesting and open minded guests, especially in the past. But consider he invites lots of different minded guests, but they are all within the spectrum of his bias! I watched lots of episodes ( in the past) and never seen some guests that completly oppose his views. 4. He is spreading misinformation. In a better regulated media landscape his show should be penalized heavily for this misinformations. Forget about all the points I've listed above, to spread a misinformation about such a important subject like vaccination is criminal!
