  1. Comparing anything ton anything is a fun game, even ChatGPT agrees: 1-Portable Snack: An orange is a convenient, portable snack that you can enjoy on the go, while a rail station is not edible at all (and it's generally frowned upon to snack on train platforms). 2- No Delays: Oranges don't experience train delays or cancellations, which can be frustrating for commuters relying on a rail station. 3- No Ticket Needed: You don't need to buy a ticket to access the deliciousness of an orange, whereas using a rail station typically requires a fare. 4- Vitamin C Boost: Oranges are a great source of vitamin C, which can help boost your immune system. A rail station, on the other hand, doesn't offer any health benefits. 5- Zero Carbon Emissions: Oranges are environmentally friendly, as they naturally grow on trees without contributing to carbon emissions. Rail stations, while important for transportation, can have an environmental impact due to energy consumption and infrastructure. If the other way around: 1- Endless Connections: A rail station provides endless opportunities for travel and exploration, connecting you to various destinations, while an orange can only be enjoyed in one place. 2- Community Hub: Rail stations are bustling hubs of activity where people from different backgrounds come together, fostering a sense of community and interaction. An orange, despite its deliciousness, doesn't have quite the same social appeal. 3- Economic Impact: Rail stations play a crucial role in transportation networks and can contribute significantly to the local economy by boosting tourism and trade. Oranges, though delightful, can't match this economic impact. 4- Shelter from the Elements: Rail stations offer shelter from the rain, snow, or scorching sun, ensuring a comfortable wait for your train. An orange can't protect you from the weather. 5- Infinite Possibilities: Rail stations open up a world of possibilities for travel, adventure, and new experiences. An orange, as tasty as it is, can't transport you to exciting new places or cultures.
  2. @Ayham Good luck with everything bro, but try not to distribute your energy on so many fields. If you've truly found your LP then you shouldn't have a backup plan! cuz with your income, you can save some money and start teaching. However one thing that's still missing is life experience, if you're not yet 18, there's no way you have enough of life experience that you can measure your progress against. Some questions you need to ask yourself, did you meet difficult people? did you experience really difficult situations? If your life was looking good and you're earning, it's unlikely that you've been in tough times.. therefore all the teachings won't work probably and you'd be fooling yourself. There's a video that's called "Theory VS Practice" .. the practice part you can only get it when you put yourself in tough situations, sometimes with no money, and no support from anybody.. Education won't save you..we're at a time when AI is going to replace everything! You are going to need something else. Also teaching self-development might not be your true purpose, cuz out of everything, you have chosen the profession of the guru who's teaching you..
  3. Maybe Iraq isn't meant to be a country. It's an artificial country in my eyes.. and also I was 22 back then, ready to join an army if I hadn't been studying.. Fought in Saddam's stupid wars.. so the war freed me basically.. it's for my freedom, and I am Iraqi. Everything has a cost, A million would've died anyways in Saddam's wars.. Look at what Saddam has done : Do you support him staying in power? or whatever dead number of people? you have to decide, and if you can't make one, then somebody else will make a decision.
  4. Pretty much this is how your world works since the dawn of humanity, Do you think by sitting and crying you're going to change anything? Those are resources of the whole world, and a 'country' is just an abstract idea.. Good luck for you were able to resist! you've never been in a great man's shoes, so you don't know how things work at that level! Of course! I guess I am oh more ore less, there's nothing specific I am very unhappy about..
  5. that's a very shallow perspective if I think like that.. I am detached from Iraq and half way out of the door.. Iraq isn't my country. It doesn't even feel like it's my country, heck it doesn't feel like a country!
  6. you could reach a lot of conclusion. Had you been a US president, things would've looked different to you than if you're not involved. Had you been in the mind of an Iraqi, you would think otherwise too.. just the fact that I am an Iraqi, and I don't really mind the war, should tell you so much
  7. you can look at it like this, but truly you're not involved in the process probably, just an outsider, reiterating opinions of others. Try to be honest, what's your degree of involvement? in the Iraqi war, in the Ukraine war, in any war your country engages with (assuming you're American)
  8. Begging the west to indoctrinate you more with science isn't the best idea.. they can hire you and get you there, your job is secured. Other than that, I wonder why you're working for them online. Are you working for cheap because they're your uncles? with that you need idea and you can open your own business and make money! you can forget about studying more..
  9. I'll try to read and write a reply for you soon
  10. Good to know there's an Iraqi here too! welcome! Many people fall into the trap of thinking that it's only a matter of corruption and such, but the truth is that we're living in the new world order after WWII, and one of the features of this order is to worship borders as I understand it. They draw borders, and call them countries. However, That's not going to work, part of that is because imposing this system on nations that are not ready. I can argue that imperialism should continue in better terms, and probably the harm is less on the nations. Iraqis are not ready for a state, they (we) are dumb, we have no experience at all.. our laws are copied from elsewhere. In the light of the above, try not to fall in the trap of comparing states. Iraq is a house of card that will collapse very soon. that was the anomaly, Iraq will descend into chaos more and more, try not to waste your time and believe what others tell you. Here too, try not to compare, "iraqis" is an imaginary term, everything is going to go down the drain very soon. The amount of craziness that's happening in Iraq is just beyond any repair. probably there's no country in the world like this, and considering how Iraq is a house of card, it will soon disintegrate and go to war. Try to get your passport like I did, so that if things start to go downhill, you can at least get out and not witness a war. you don't need to see more wars. Hope you won't discuss where from bro haha.. But overall I am happy that you're here too on the forum..
  11. I feel that the stupidity of anti-war masses has hindered and killed the reforms. Now that's replaced by backing a fake-democracy.
  12. Iraq is only standing because there are international players involved. The US has bases here, and they are deterring the ISIS and other groups from taking control over Iraq. But in fact, Iraq is actually a house of cards. The corruption is rampant here too, and US and other players could misjudge the severity of that, which leads to overnight wave of unrest that could be as sever as bad as the 2014 one when ISIS took control over 1/3 of Iraq in few weeks. I remember that happened, have a vague memory of that haha
  13. I watched some of the interview with Mr. Netanyahu, he seems to be a nice guy who want to work for the interest of his nation, however, he's inclined towards science, and the notion of statism, obviously he's a prime minster of a state! however, and having spend many years here, I feel that truth don't fully manifest itself in those. I believe that Iraq is going to disintegrate in the coming 5 years and cease to exist as an independent country.
  14. @Raze It can get her some release.. so it's not totally garbage I would assume.
  15. Sharing this, hopefully will have some insights.. I am mentoring a friend of mine (T) and she was at the lowest emotional states when we were introduced to each other about two years ago. T has issues with her husband, there's basically no compatibility. It was an arranged marriage she accepted to walk in to when she was young because she didn't' know better back then. Her husband was brought from somewhere in Asia (not mentioning countries) into the US, while she was raised in the US herself. Right now she wants to get divorce, but the issue is that there are children, so that'll be taken slowly. The issue she was facing though is that she wants to have a sex life still (she call it fun), but she stopped sleeping with her husband after things between them gone downhill. Then one day, she booked a massage session, and she thought it will be a fun experience, but it turned out the massage guy was keeping distance during the session and he treated her in a cold way, which did agitate her feelings and she were feeling like she wants sex badly now. And then it was very bad days she lived and she wanted to be touched, but she wasn't able to find anyone. She can't go to night clubs, obviously she has children. She can't invite anyone home, cuz there's CCTV camera there. Eventually she was able to find this sub-reddit, where people offer massages for female members. And after many encounters, she's now able to have somebody to share the fun with, they can book a hotel room every two weeks. The thing is that this is still not enough for her. As it turned out women love to have sex more than guys probably! but the offer she gets through the websites don't make it past the conversation phase. She say guys are stupid and clueless. Sometimes they start talking dirty right away, and sometimes they are not stepping up to reserve a room and acting like they need somebody to convince them first! So in my mind, there are countless opportunities that guys are wasting! free opportunities to have fun.. Worth to note that also guys are super afraid of attachment, and as we observed me and T, guys want less sex than they imagine themselves to want! they can get by with less sex! I am sharing what I know with T and in return she's sharing her life with me, we chat on a daily basis, and I've gained so much insights about woman's life, and although people here perceive me to be anti-women, but I can assure you, I am good with women, and I am kind and nice person. After all, people might think that I am anit-women because of opinions I write in controversial topics, and it's not based on observations about actual interactions with women.
  16. I don't think the US has destroyed Iraq to start with haha. it wouldn't be a problem to say that you can say anti-americans anti-israili anti-west opinions and get away with that. Different opinions are equivalent to crossing the limits
  17. My country is officially not in peace with Israel, Iraq don't recognize it as a state. and there are many groups who can openly threaten to destroy israel and show hate, while it's not common to express love for Israel.. It's interesting to an interview with Benjamin Netanyahu.. For me personally, I can't care less about the arab-israeli conflict. I want to stay out of politics. Having any political views is a ticket to prison. thanks for sharing!
  18. People are delusional. And that's making my life difficult than it should be. Do you think by opposing something hard enough you will be able to prevent it or put an end for it? how egotistical you must be! People don't spend time to understand that they can't easily leave a dent in reality. Iraq war was good, and wars are good, you won't put an end to them just by resisting them! They are part of human history, was and will always be. It's ironic how when liberals/democrats are in power now, they are supporting the war on Ukraine for pretty much the same reason why Bush started the war in Iraq..Freedom for Iraqi people! Who would've thought! Truth is that just by being a westerner, you're already in and approving everything that western civilization is built upon. You, as a westerner is shutting your mind, and that's creating suffering for people like me in Iraq. I will never rebuild Iraq, I am not free here. And nobody is empowering me or protecting me or enabling me to be free and take my country to a safe shore. America now is supporting corrupt government in Iraq, fake democracy, I am glad they're doing so, this will create time and space for me to leave before this country goes down to hell once again. The world is big, I might not want to go to a western country
  19. I got so furious I couldn't watch till the end of the video!
  20. Moms traditionally hold a good placement in religions and tribes, and they call their love for their babies unconditional, however, moms being moms, they don't love unconditionally, and most often than not they're full of shit. Mother's agenda in general is to serve the purpose of continuation of human race, that's why their purpose doesn't only include raising their children, but also making sure that those children do the same, conceive of new babies again. However mom's agendas rarely include teaching and supporting their sons and daughters for the purpose of making our world a better place. And for this, I would say, it's OK to detach from your love to your mother and abandon her for good. Don't fall into the trap of trying to convince her that you have a purpose and your purpose is to make the world a better place for everyone to live, and that this is what humanity is in desperate need today. You'd likely waste your life while doing so. My mom for example lacks any rationality, and if I would to try to open this topic with her, she would most likely ask me back like "Why can't children get married, have families, and then also make the world a better place? why can't they do both?" Of course my mother is full of shit, and she can't realize that those are different paths in life.
  21. I feel if you would to contemplate your thoughts more, you will reach to a good place or get good answers. here are some questions to help: why would you specifically want to find a complimenting life purpose with your biological parents? Could it be that you want your mom to be proud of you at the end?
  22. @Princess Arabia I like it thanks for sharing it here!
  23. I lately have this realization that You Can Have An Authentic Relationship With Anybody If You Can Suspend your Agenda And it's your personal agenda in this worlds that prompts you to judge people that you bump into throughout your life. You're basically biased towards serving that agenda whatever it is. If you want comfort, or personal growth, or progress, or money, all of those are agendas, so you're going to sacrifice connection with people and anybody who can remotely slow down your agenda. What do you value more? do you value your personal agenda? or you value authentic connection with others? Sometimes your agenda will distance you from people, and you end up lonely, and you mistakenly think that when you succeed with your agenda, you will be loved by others who will appreciate what you've acheived. i would like you to consider that in order to feel loved and feel authentic connection, you need to let go of your personal agenda altogether. Here's an example:
  24. In extreme places like Iraq, where government gets you nothing, not even 24 hours electricity in a whether of 115 degrees, it becomes increasingly difficult just for you to have a good sleep on a daily basis, but maybe in countries where they provide services, it could be done.
