@Sabth @Thought Art Of course the older generation are going to have dogmas about life and money, but they also are expecting things from you, and therefore you're going to be needing to deal with those dogmas and in one way or another, and get them to financially support you. It's almost a trade. It's also making money by trading what they want out of you, and gaining money, and thus time to explore more in life and self-actualize. And it's not about money only, it's also about shaping up your life and their lives too! Which is also far way more important than the so called "success" that you could attribute to yourself if you started accumulating loads of money. "Success" is mostly a low-consciousnesses concept, and it's just about increasing your bank account, purely materialistic. You want to go and work and "succeed" but when you do that, you're going to be turning away from working on the big picture with your family, and building authentic relationships with them, and ultimately forging a new reality for everyone to enjoy. If you try to pursue success only, then don't be surprised to find yourself lonely, cuz no amount of money is going to bring you love and authentic connection. AND you can't do both! What do you think?

To start with, America is an expansionist nation, and establishing Israel was a normal thing to do. I don't envy Americans as some of them might feel the guilt for their state helping a political movement (the zionist) gain ground in the historical land of Palestine, however, an average American should be OK with that. America has always been and founded upon a principle of taking land Americans need to be OK with that! It's a part of progress of human civilization sort of after all. Otherwise, I feel if any American is against this approach, they can denounce their citizenship perhaps be one option. Israili people on the other hand are being used to just stay there, and their dreams and aspirations of a homeland is been used in order to sustain this geo-political entity that's called the state of Israel. As for Arabs, they're wounded, butt-hurt people, who were indoctrinated from school that Arab nation is one of the greatest on earth, and they now wake up on reality that Arab civilization is no longer ruling the four corners of the world, and therefore, they bring morality into the scene and they are asking for fairness to be achieved in an international system that is not been setup on the basis of fairness for everybody, and more over, they have no say in it, and they're not wanting to engage or reform it, but just foolishly asking for fairness and a state for Palestenians Muslims, or else, they're going to support anyone who wants to carry weapons, and sabotage and go crazy just in the name of stupid morality. My advice to people, try not to bring morality into the scene! it's stupid and foolish that those who seek justice, start engaging with killing and destroying from both sides! but indeed, it's just ego, it's "either what I want, or I am going to kill and sabotage"

I do like your opinion here, and this is the correct path to go! -
Mesopotamian replied to Mesopotamian's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Do you mean what could that be translated to in the future? Cuz from what i see it, America will always be supportive to Israel, even if there's going to be genocide for civilians. And I don't condemn that, this is just how it is. In my mind, bond is created, and will always be strong and favor the continuation of Israel, cuz remember the other party wants a complete Annihilation for Israel. -
Mesopotamian replied to Mesopotamian's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@DawnC I am not sure why it does matter when this bond has been forged. Also like there's a clear similarity between the establishment of Israel and the establishment of the USA was what I am trying to refer to. -
I feel that's only valid if you would to separate Hamas from the rest of the world. The truth is that Hamas is the head of the spear, and it's a long fight/struggle against the west and their agent in the region (Israel). Have you ever noticed the pattern? ISIS, with the slaughter of Yazidis in Iraq, and Hamas now is coming up with the slaughter of Jewish in Israel. Tens of thousands of Arabs Palestinians will be killed in order to "Liberate" Ghaza, only for the same pattern to emerge elsewhere. We need a solution for Islamic fundamentalism!

Relationships has two components, the connection and the sex, and often times, we choose to go to sex because it's easy, however I found out that no amount of sex can make the relationship stronger or get people closer to each other. It might give you the illusion that it's possible, however at the end of the day, your soul would want to connect with your lover's soul, and you want to get to know them better and have a genuine connection with them. I would advice waiting for a certain period of time before having sex. Make sure that you and your lover are compatible, have to a certain degree same outlook to life, same goals and aspirations, otherwise, it is not worth it to try to force things just because there's some attraction What are your experiences in this regard?

Every nation, or even individuals need to grow up at one point and stop their attachments to walls, rocks, buildings... etc.. When are Muslims going to grow up? Also same for Jewish people, their sentiment is used to plant a state where it doesn't belong, so here's what they get. I wonder how many decades now it might take for an Israili Jewish to feel safe again sleeping few miles away from Palaetenians -
Mesopotamian replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
I mean at the end of the day, it's not holy those websites, it's just mass hallucination, and nobody truly gives a shit about them. Supposed they're demolished one day, do you think that it's ok to launch nuclear missiles on Israel for that? Why can't you snap of these delusions? do you want to die to save a fucking Masjid's walls? -
Mesopotamian replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Yea but that could stay there, or maybe even get demolished since it's now within Israel territory. OR, OR, it could be managed by international peace keeping organizations.. Mostly Muslims also are pissed off about how what used to be a minority in the ancient Muslims states (the Jewish people) are now challenging them and not bowing to the authoritarian teachings of Islam Indeed there's a bigot within each Muslims, ore are you suggesting they're all saints? -

@Leo Gura Dear Leo, for a while now, I am only getting notifications on my own personal posts, but when others mention me in other posts, I get no notifications.. what wrong have I done? Thank you -
Mesopotamian replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
My input on this is that Arabs and Muslims are wounded and butthurt because "Islamic civilazations" is no longer ruling the world. They're nos asking for what's known as justice in the new international system. IT's all based on morality and dogma. How do you interpret that Ghaza is a small strip of land, and it shouldn't have the support of tens of millions of Muslims around he world unless there's something emotional into that? For israel, they're supported by international community because they serve a purpose to stay there as a state, not because it's fair to the jeweish people. -

Coming from a war-torn country myself, I can't shake the feeling that Leo has been affected by what's going on, the war on Ukraine. He's from a Russian origin, but he's American, and with all that he knows and him opposing wars, The Iraq War as an example. He kinda needs to re-invent himself. In the past he was thinking and still that George W. Bush, and republicans in power was one reason for the war, but now even the democrats are in power and they still support wars like war in Ukraine. That's the only major thing that I can see have changed in the past year or so, and it seems that this has deeply affected him. -
it's a bit sad that you can't seem to get a genuine connection with a female, but I kinda understand where you're coming from, it's never easy and it does take a lot of courage, and also you need a special kind of knowledge. One book that I read in the past is called "The Female Brain" and it was the start to my journey to unlock the knowledge of how a woman thinks. It gave examples of how men and women think differently. Sometimes women themselves have lost hope that a connection with a guy is possible, that's why they are holding to the survival aspect where they want a rich guy and "alpha-male"
-
@Javfly33 I feel people don't try to venture out of this "alpha" mindset. They're too afraid. You were a beta once probably, and it wasn't good feeling, and now you're alpha, and want to stay there. But also, for the sake of experiment, you can consider things like you as a man can be of a value to a woman in a not romantic context. This woman or girl is also entitled to having a friend of hers that provide her value other than the physical survival aspect. This is precisely go against your point: It's might not be only a case of 'Alpha, and Beta'. Couldn't be a mix? couldn't be a 'Gamma' for example? somebody who can be a friend, nice but assertive. Somebody with a balance, somebody who provides value other than survival needs..
-
If you try too hard that can be off-putting for women. They want somebody to latch on to, not someone who seems desperate to have a relationship. don't ask then why woman is leaving you, you kinda need to have some balance and invest a certain amount of time and effort, not all the way of course. Truth is that you might not destined to have a relationship in this life with anybody at all, I am sure that there are people who live and die and can't have any relationship, so try not to take it seriously.. your moto should be "if it happens, it does, if not then fuck it"
-
I feel that needs to be figured out before sleeping together, and it could be difficult to abandon them later after you had a dose of feel-good hormones many times with them. Most often than not, they won't. You can't force change onto somebody this way or else, it becomes like transactional operation. "Try to change for me, or you lose me" Also are you that desperate and can't try to meet another one of the hundreds of million of people out there so that you want to force change onto the one you already met? You won't ever likely to find a 'too perfect' connection with anybody in this world, so be assured, there's always going to be drama, however the trick is to find somebody with similar life path to you, they have more or less similar past, and are OK with certain points. Few years back, I got out of my family, and I wanted to be independent, however I fell in love with somebody who has strong attachment to family, she send them money all the time not only for survival, but also to do unnecessary renovations at family home, but I was like fuck that shit, fuck the whole family system I want to be independent! I guess having the same views on big matters more or less or outlook is a must, unless you want your relationship to be all about drama!

It can increase tolerance for the BS of your partner, and it can be damaging cuz that's going to set the bar too low for them. One day you wake up and ask yourself why you're putting up with so much BS from them?

You were able to smell something fishy around this guy, and the new BBC documantery has shown that he's probably too young and inexperienced to come up with cult-like methods, and that there's somebody more seasoned behind him. What's your comment that the latter (Iggy Semmelweiss) is also happened to be a follower of Osho? Does it bother you the notion that one of your followers could turn into a devil one day? -

@Danioover9000 I feel it all boils down to who gives people the right to interfere and change regimes and rage wars. And the answer is simple, this is all a probably a continuation for the revolutionary spirit that mankind enjoys. America is built on a revolution, and was forged through a war. And I find it natural that this will continue for several hundred years to come. All discussions in this regards are waste of time. -
As many of you know I am living in Iraq, and although I haven't had the chance yet to taste living in western culture, I can see and feel the suffering in my country and how it stems from adopting corrupt values. And this connect the eternal argument about the war on iraq and is it right or wrong. And for that You might need to watch this mini documentary about how it is impossible to escape North Korea these days. When you were wishing that there was no Iraq war, you were basically siding with a dictator who will over time will try to isolate millions of people and perpetuate their sufferings. ONE LESS DICTATOR ON THIS PLANET IS BETTER FOR ALL PEOPLE! Back to my original point of how capitalism is superior to Islam. And one claim of mine is that capitalism and western culture stemmed originally from Greek mythology, and within that mythology as I've read, there was so many Gods, a god for war, god for fertility, god for sea, rain.. etc, and after thousands of years, somebody invented the production and assembly line, and this concept of specialization, where each individual can excel in a specific task, and the work then come together at the assembly line. Here in Iraq, this concept virtually non-existent. I live at a hotel, and the hotel owner always wants to hire workers, and judge them based on how many tasks they can excel at at the same time, whether management, cleaning, electricity wiring, pluming, etc. He wants to have super workers who can do everything. And in my mind, this is due to our culture, islamic culture, where there's one God, Allah, and one God only! the god of everything. This is just a simple example, and it's a war between new and modern thinking paradigm VS old one. Which one you choose to side with? Those who are against the war in Iraq think that they're better than the pro-war, but I want to know how and why? what are their motives? Is leaving millions of Iraqi youth under values of thousands of years ago better than taking them to capitalism where they can experience the ability and beauty of following their passion and excelling at a certain field? For me I feel I am a hundred times better off without a dictator ruling my life, and although so may people deny that, but in my mind, one day I could be able to get out of Iraq and follow my dreams. Unlike poor people in North Korea.

@Danioover9000 I feel it would be a balanced point of view if you can approach things without biases. If you are talking about 'nations' and 'countries' you kinda need to also take in account that those nations should be wise, and stand up for themselves, and know their position among other nations, and if they can't do so, they they will get humiliated and even probably cease to exist! I feel when you demand more caution in war, and thorough planning that you're being highly biased, demanding too much from reality. Also you're implicitly encouraging more wars! cuz nations, and statism is based on wars and conflict, and the latter probably are building blocks for nations and countries. Maybe if some countries cease to exist there might be less conflicts overall in the world! not more countries! More countries = more fights and disputes over borders, more invasions, more deaths The current world order is achieved through wars, and you want to come now and think like, well let's do things differently, why can't we do things differently? Now some people want a state for Kurds, but guess what! if Kurds would have their own state, they will be fighting wars with at least four countries! Iraq, Turkey, Syria, and Iran!! Everything has a price, but many are missing the point. More states=more wars.. MAybe some states should be dissolved altogether, and that could lead to better peace and prosperity! -

that sounds good! I am just saying that sometimes natural rules of reality takes priority. Saddam was a fucking idiot, who doesn't deserve to stat a head of a state. He forced all Iraqis to degrade the name of the US, he forced us to write down 'America' on the ground, and then step on it with dirty shoes as a gesture of insulting. He also had started a personal feud with the Bush family when he did the same and commissioned somebody to build a mosaic for George Bush Senior in a hotel lobby and everyone steps on it. This the utmost insulting in our culture..This guy Saddam was totally a moron He went above and beyond to piss of so many US administrations with his idiocy. I don't see 10 millions that's a big number. Also the chaos that was going on is due to stupid people call themselves resistance and because of the fight between them and between the US troops, as stupid as Saddam Hussain was. and they (resistance) don't represent the Iraqi people! they represent themselves only, and they were using all sorts of dirty tactics to cause chaos and destruction, for the sake of an idea, a dogmatic, short-sighted idea. Their only pretext is that it is now our duty to fight the occupier, and we should! so let's bomb, kill, and cause chaos. I remember like 99% of the Iraqis were indifferent to the occupation! we're a culture still not about anything but raw survival, and if you would to ask anybody on the street today, they would tell you that they wouldn't care who rules them as long as they make our tummies full! yes! make us feel full (food wise). That's what the Iraqi truly want, abundance of food and money, and they don't give an F about anything else. Also and I know this might upset you, but with Abu-Gharib incidents and making them public, I thought that was genius and it's done on purpose! In my mind, somebody finally found out that those stupid muslim fighters' biggest fear is homosexuality! so they made it seem that who goes into those prisons will be violated. I even have my doubt and I feel it was all staged! This has put an end to those stupid resistance factions and made them history. -

@Danioover9000 this is the rule of the game for most of humanity's history though. You might feel that you hold the truth when you are analyzing, but if you want real change, then try to change the rules of the game. Try to learn about power hierarchies, and game theory, perhaps read the 48 Laws Of Power.. At the time of the fall of the two properties, had I been in Saddam Hussain's shoes, I would immediately announce mourning for the victim and order all Iraqis to cry over the victims, and put my nasty dogma aside, and thus saving "Iraqi nation" and avoiding a war.. Cuz when a giant takes a hit, it's utterly madness to mock that or even to stand still doing nothing. Life has rules, there's wisdom in every thing, and it's up to you if you want to start believing in those, or just analyze, judge and wish it was handled in an ideal way..
