@Leo Gura I mean you've said it before that government is the most complex thing that humans have ever invented, what makes you have hopes that they might work when imposed on nations? This is indeed the new colonialism. when you are the greatest country in the world, and you expect all the nation of the world to copy you, and have similar governance systems, and to stay afloat, even though their respective nations are way less developed. In Iraq, the US came and deliberately installed a regime, but with other dozens of countries, the US's work is more subtle than that, but it is kind of the same, it is to maintain the world order and current "countries doctrine" -

Hey Leo, I am afraid I can't agree, from where I am, I see the notion of a country is very fragile one and needs not to be taken seriously. It is not like countries can work unless there's corruption, but it is that the notion itself is corrupt. I hope you can one day start to teach about how the country notion is supposed to be about management purposes, and not something to be taken for granted. If any set of countries don't work, simply they need to cease to exist. I kind of noticed that if we have Islam, Christianity, then the modern religion is probably is the international laws and conventions that hold these imaginary borders and makes them sacred, causing the suffering of millions of unlucky people who are stuck in misery and wars. Thank you -
exactly it is helping me lot! what are you planning to read next?

I've noticed through the years that stage green people tend to only judge stage orange values, but other than that, they put a fake mask of zero-judgment. They can't judge stage blue's actions or values for their develiry, heck they can't even seem to be willing to judge the situation and see it as is if in case it belongs to stages lower than orange. They are in this regard only practicing hate towards one step down, ie where they used to come from. Just like an athiest who hates religion and religious people the moment he gets out of religion It is so toxic to just start bashing the stage-orange as soon as they grow out of it, but they are completely blind to the devlilery of other stages. For pure blue and below they have nothing but utmost respect. It is frustrating for someone like me who lives in Iraq that those people who sometimes come to here can't really see things the way I see them and can't feel my suffering. They fucking condemn the 2003 invasion but can't notice the lack of freedoms in Iraq and thus can't even associate it with rigid moralistic stage red-purple-blue stages. As a result they fucking even refrain from judging a situation and that's utterly frustrating. And as of this moment, I am starting to think that I will never be able to have friendship with stage green folks ever in my life. I quite frankly hate them for that I mentioned above and have a strong feeling against them and their blindness.

I lately noticed some of the aspect of capitalism and that's pushing to buy new things all the time, and at the same time the world is filled with already made second-hand good. Here in Iraq the government isn't pro-manufacturing at all, but they allow any amount of imported goods to enter Iraq, even tons and dons of second hand goods, and lately Amazon returns good, but even so, the culture here is that people who can afford should purchase new stuff as a status symbol. The society here proud themselves to be guardians of morality, but recently I found out how they are being immoral, not by consuming loads of new goods, but also they can't see that with this approach to life, they are creating suffering for the people who manufacture these goods. I dream of a world where we can all share the resources in a fair way, and that people don't have to work 24/7 to get money. Why wouldn't rich people start buying second hand goods and donating the money directly to the workers who make new goods? is it moral that there are people dying in sweatshops and others who want to purchase only new goods?

@VioletFlame Also you are not smarter than me, and in fact you seem to be sitting there doing philosophy and completely detached from reality, trying to interpret it from a distance and see it as less ugly that it really is. I truly hate that philosophy that you've presented in your reply. When it came to the main point, you refrained from pointing the obvious and admitting that these folks are just selfish mother fuckers, but you brought up a rather peaceful answer, they are simply "forgetting to align values.."like wow! can it even be more peaceful than that? but also can your answer be more detached than that? -
Mesopotamian replied to Mesopotamian's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@VioletFlame People are simply having fake morality, they can't see the result of their action and the suffering they are creating for others There are probably going to be consequences from the evil created by them while you seem to be refraining or trying to distant yourself from condemning their actions in any direct/explicit way or form. But it is alright though, if you can't dare to point out the obvious, then this doesn't affect the reality in any way or shape or form, and you're going to suffer as a consequence because you seem to lack the ability to judge when is needed, therefore you let evil continue in this world, and your reward is just whiteness atrocities happening before your eyes until you are able to use your intellect to point out the obvious and try to change it before it spirals down uncontrollably. -
I think these one liner "Wisdom" don't go with the theme of actualized.org. Leo puts hours and hours into creating content with tons of examples and explanations. Maybe if you would to listen to 100 hours of Leo's videos, you might know some of the answers there.

This looks interesting. Good luck with that!

I was born in Iraq, and day by day I discover more about this harsh, but fascinating place. Modern day Iraq includes some of the earliest human civilizations on the earth, but many people mix that rich history for the country of today. In all actuality, Iraq is just another made up country. Borders drawn as a part of international convictions without consultation for the Iraqi nation. Even the first monarchy was imposed by Britain. They went and found an educated man who happened to have a family that played a role in history, and they made him king. With successive coups and invasions, it is safe to say that the current Iraqi state has little to do with the will of the people who live in Iraq. This creates a highly corrupt environment. The economy is like a heist where money flows from top to the bottom, and everyone have to leech from that stream, while the country lacks any other industry than oil. When it comes to Iraqi youth, there are two types. First type are those who are able to secure a position in the money chain, and those who did not. The first group is also highly corrupt one. They have loads of money, and they don't want to know where this money is coming from and how the economy run. They got their because their families have enabled them through minimum of two previous generations to study and secure positions but out of the second disadvantaged group, there are people who are smart and curious, but don't have any chance but to run and join the race, hoping that they can get some money out of that stream. This latter group are highly disadvantaged. They live as slaves for their societies and families. They are forced to play a game that's rigged against them. They can't get a good education, but forced to run and try to get any degree, hoping that one day they would secure their positions in the money chain. And because they are not wealthy, the whole world doesn't want them. The countries of the world when they give a visa for Iraqis, they ask about how much money they have, a proof of bank and properties. The rich and corrupted group can provide that for them and for their children, but the disadvantaged group can't! It is like an eternal sentence to be imprisoned in Iraq. Now there are initiatives from all around the world to take in some of Iraqi youth and give them opportunity, but even that initiative, it cannot reach those who are in need, and mostly targets those who are already studying and having degrees, but for example those who are affected by wars, they can't make use of it! The western initiatives treats the Iraqi youth the same way they treat German youth for example, not accounting for the additional factors. Also above all that, there's the societal pressure on the youth, and family values and such, which can cripple both sexes abilities. For females, they wouldn't even allow them to join these initiatives, and for males, they are faced with different manipulation methods, pushing them to feel guilty if they don't come back to their homes and work to achieve the goals of the parents by marrying and forming a new family themselves. So here we are now! Imagine yourself as an Iraqi girl, born to non-rich family, lost some study years because of war, skipped college because your family can't allow you to go to college, and living in a remote area outside the city, but you have love for astronomy! When power is out, you go out and gaze at the start! then when there's power, you get your phone and start looking on materials about stars! When you become an adult, they would force you to bury your dream and get married..

I've talked to so many liberals over the past years about the issue of invading Iraq, and they all were trying to blame George W. Bush for that, calming that his action has sabotaged the country and the Iraqi nation an such, yet I would like to mention here that the successive administrations have worked to maintain what Bush administration has started. I don't know if this is a big shame or not, but truly it is not working for me! This Iraqi state and the status quo is now sponsored by the US, a country that's supposed to stand for freedoms and human rights, yet for some reason, the successive US administrations have turn a blind eye to the lack of freedoms in Iraq. It is utterly astounding how they can achieve that. They try to keep lo-profile in Iraq. They are there, but also they are not there. They claim to help rebuild Iraq. but non of that has been achieved over the past soon to be 20 years! They claim to fight ISIS, as if it is the real devil, not understanding the circumstances that led to the emergence of ISIS, which in my opinion is lack of personal freedoms, and too much morality, to the point that corruption is becoming the norm, and some people choose to fight their government, so they form terrorist organizations and turn the tables. All this for the sake of keeping the oil flowing, and keeping a weak balance in place, a balance that will not serve anybody in the future, because it is built on no other foundation but truing a blind eye to how the Iraqi state is managed and the corruption that's ongoing on there. It is utterly absurd how they don't even treat Iraq as a country, and they turn a blind eye to the human rights violations that are happening every single day here. But everyone will pay the price in the future when the next semi-collapse happens in this heated region.

I have received death threats in the past. For now I prefer to stay silent and try to understand why things can't advance or change -
Back to the topic of complaining about Iraq. And I am feeling like life here is artificial, it is like living in a human zoo, and also bizarre. The oil money have turned the society into a giant monster that has no mercy upon itself nor its own individuals. Here's one thing I miss while living here, and it is the craftsmanship, the ability to revive old stuff and using them, or even to take care of new stuff. People here don't find value in repairing old stuff, and they constantly buy new stuff, and in this way they are doing the following harms for me and people alike: 1- They are not creating any sort of jobs that depends on maintaining things/devices..etc. If they have air conditioning for a hotel for example, they wouldn't take care of the appliances, and when they broke, they just replace them. But with the money of that, they could've hired someone to simply take care of things. For a price of two AC units, they could pay someone to maintain them around the year. 2-They think that money is unlimited resource, that's why they are engaging in purchasing, and the other nations are encouraging this, they think they have nothing to lose when selling Iraqis loads of goods. 3- The inequality that this situation creates, where poor people have to live with little money, and there's no community that's based on restoring things, so they have to individually try to restore the old things that they can get their hands upon with little to no skills, while the rich always purchasing new things. 4- There are no communities that are based around restoring things, and that's because the rich people are the landlords, and they are hording majority of real estates and capitol. They themselves can't find value in restoring things, so the craftsmen should follow and try to adapt by directing their skills to serve the rich people. Can you live in a place where you have to trhow something in the trash just because there's no one to fix it for you unless there's big amount of money involved?

@Gesundheit2 We have the economy of the middle man. I just found out that why my family despise me and look up for my brother. the "successful" one. He's a middle man who imports goods from China, while me, I am trying to do creative works, design an app, or a website, or try to come up with a new service idea, but no, nothing is going to work. These people don't respect anything but a middle man who earn lots of money easily! they look up to them! -

I feel that this is true. people here are hypnotized by the cars and gadgets. They think that they should get them and create a life of comfort for them and their children, each family is a unit by itself, and no one can see that the society as a whole should be seen as the unit, the bigger family. With notion that money come through God's will and according to someone's deeds, they think that no one is responsible to reform the corruption. If the government is corrupt then the only way is to protest and probable topple it until a new one installed, and that for them might help to provide jobs and alleviate poverty. -

@Rokazulu The morality here is killing me! They want to create the most moral country in the world! there's no space for creativity, everyone should get a piece of the pie of the oil returns somehow or just die. There's no space for any new projects or ideas. If anybody managed to somehow break through the walls of morality and get away with doing something new, then a thousand person copies his idea and start the same business! I hate this country, I hate this place. I hate those people -
Telling a story of yet another different side of my personality. The story of my desire to become a woman started when I was a child. Probably at age 4 or 5 my parents thought to themselves that it is a good idea to dress me as a girl, put a make up on my face and lipstick, and flip my hair back. They then took me to a photography studio and took a photo of me in a dress. My mom said the photographer was stunned of how beautiful I looked back then and when he asked what’s the little girl’s name, they told him that I am actually a boy! The memory of this photo always remained in my mind, and luckily enough, this photo has survived the ISIS occupation of Iraq in 2014 when ISIS occupied my city, Mosul and while some of the militant leaders came to live in our family house back then after we fled the city, they started to burn all my family’s photo archive and any personal belongings that we left behind when we fled the city, but this photo has survived miraculously. I wasn’t able to find an explanation of why they were after my family photo archive, but one thing that might explain it is that my family was a minority Christian family, and back then the Christian community was ordered to leave Mosul after the head of church refused to negotiate a deal with ISIS that would’ve enabled Christians to stay in the city under strict conditions that ISIS was about to impose. So maybe they were after erasing the history of minorities in the city when they were burning my family’s archive? @DefinitelyNotARobot Thank you for your support and for sharing with me your opinions, which seem to be balanced, and some of the highlights about this topic. I would imagine there's humiliation and abuse everywhere. I can't move to the west right now because of the bloody borders, but one region that has good transgender population who are living in peace is the Philippines! I would easily fit if I could make it there, I am surprised by the emotional support that I am receiving from people there. -
I haven't finished reading yet, but man! This book highlights how a woman actually feels, thinks and see the world around her in different stages of her life. If you're a woman and read it, I guarantee you will be crying of how it tells things accurately. If you are a man and haven't read it yet, you're going to have troubles understanding women for the rest of your life. Called The Female Brain by Louann Brizendine Good to be coupled with Leo's video titled: Masculinity vs Femininity - Psychology Of The Male & Female Mind

We men are sex machines, it can take me basically less than a minute to get there using my own hand if I want to, yet women on the other hand are hard to reach there. In good days it would take me more than 10 minutes of rubbing on a woman's clitoris to reach there. As a result of that, men cannot think straight and can be stimulated by anything, even a small chat with a female online can make my little buddy start throbbing and asking to meet my hand! Ironically I've been taking two very simple supplements lately that are supposed to help with the sexual drive for men, at least one of them Meca root, and when I take them combined, I feel like my capacity for love and romance increases, while my erotic desire decreases. Even though Meca is like a natural Viagra, and it helps me have and sustain an erection easily, but then I don't feel the urge to work on that and get to where I usually want to get. The other herb is Fenugreek. I've tried it alone, and it works on your libido. If you take enough of it, it can make you shiver if you start to touch yourself. Yet combined with the Meca root, I find myself a bit more stable of a person, almost like a woman is, and I am able to have better conversation with women, without the urge to get there fast! My theory that this expands my love capacity while simultaneously decreasing my erotic desire. I am suddenly treating a woman with more compassion and love! and seeing her less of a sex object, while at the same time feeling great and having good time with her. This applies on online relationships for now, cuz I still live alone with no girl basically.

Hi Leo, Thank you for the solipsism video, it was amazing as usual, and a great comeback. Here's the deal: - The idea of no other will not likely create monsters out of your followers. -There's a low chance that those who don't follow your work will be able to take what you say in that video seriously. -You've now created a legend, and people might take the video and re-upload it again, this is the Internet man! while if you've just put it, it can hide in plain sight and almost become invisible and everybody forget about it. -Seriously there's little out of the ordinary in that video. -I am now capable of loving others more after I watched it! Cuz they are an illusion, therefore my tolerance for their BS will be greater, my hate and triggering rate to them will be lower. -I won't be wasting my time trying to be extra nice to people whom I know deep down inside that they are closed-minded. -I mean you've mentioned that life is meaningless, and for me that was the big one which got me more. -The world needs your work still, I need your work to compensate for the dark years of "my past". - The impact of the video will likely be forgotten after a while by those who are unable to do trips. I already forgot so much of what you've teached in the past, and only remember what you iterate. -You can't just forgot about what you shared here, and it will be integrated with your next videos, with so many having no clue of what you're talking about (Imagine if you withdrew the Spiral Dynamic Series) Bonus Reason: - It brings a slight concern that you've deleted something you've uploaded earlier. Makes me think that one day you might wake up, have a new awakening and delete all your work. I go back sometimes to your old videos and I refresh what I've missed. It is not enough to get the most of them by simply watching them once, and there are some stuff you've collected and put out there that many of us simply are lacking the time and skills needed to go and collect them and organize them again the way you've done here.
-
No I am not what are you talking about?
