The only Christians i know are Roman-Catholics and they are homophobic, racist and dogmatic. I also know one Muslim guy. He thinks Jews are the worse people in the world and that Roma people(gypsys) should be killed. He refered to them with "it" word. This is horrible to hear. So i would really like to know some loving Christians and Muslims who wouldn't want to kill me and send me in hell becose i am gay.@blackchair How do you navigate between being a Christian and gay? I am half Croat and i know that many catholics are homophobic.

Actualy i barely knew his grandfather and his mother becose we were not in touch, but didn't know the boy at all so it didn't affect me personaly. But still it made me thinking about how unresolved pathological family patterns are transmited from generation to generation... Until somebody can't take it anymore...

@Preety_India Long time ago, when i started my spiritual journey, there was one magazine for spiritual growth here in Slovenia. And in it one clinical psychologist and psychotherapist wrote many articles about psycho-spiritual dilemas on the spiritual journey. His writings about spirituality was so good, that i never came accros anything like it in any other places. Many times he mentioned how very important it is to face and embrace the repressed unconscious aspects of ourselves and to overcome the alienations of the socialization process. He and some other writers in that magazine introduced us, the readers, with the mystics of old times. The european mystics described their spiritual journey and every one of them experienced something called "the purification". And this "purification" is nothing else then the process of coming out of our shadow material on the surface to be seen and to be healed. So even do the seekers and mystics of old ages didn't have the knowledge of human psychodynamics, becose at that times that type of knowledge didn't exist, they still went through the same process of confronting their "demons", like we all do one way or another. So in some way they did have some kind of knowledge of psychology, but not as advanced as we have today. In the examples you gave above it is ilustrated a shallow american approach toward spirituality. But sooner or later every spiritual aspirant will have to deal with some psychological issues and then they will be very willing to learn more about psychology.

I prefer teachers who are genuine and non-abusive, and Benthino is NOT one of them.

Just this Monday a grandson of my mom's cousin completed suicide. He was 18 years old. Many things can be said about it but maybe silence is the most appropriate answer...

@JJfromSwitzerland As a dream figure i did NOT create myself as a gay just like you did NOT create yourself as a straight. But as the Universal Mind we did create everything. Just don't confuse the relative and absolute levels of Reality.

Until i fully realize the core truth of Vedanta i prefer to read about it from people much more competent, then Sadhguru.

Thank you for sharing with us your healing journey. For people who wish more professional help...there is a type of psychotherapy called developmental analytic psychotherapy. It is an integrative therapy. It includes the approaches of Freud, Jung and also the newest schools and discoveries of the psychotherapeutic science. It is available here in Slovenia but maybe it exists elswhere too...

@DreamScape I already said what i had to say about the "walk in" experiences in my previous post. Channeling is 90℅ fake. If authentic, then it is only the expression of the unconscious. I am so glad i don't believe in any of the new age nonsense as i did when i was jung and stupid. I will always advocate the practice of healing (reintegration of the repressed unconscious) and the transcendence of the ego as the only way for psycho-spiritual progress. Everything else is just the avoidance to deal with our issues.

@DreamScape I don't think so. It is either a joke or if it's real then this is a form of psychosis. Some type of introject, caused by parents in early childhood, is emerging again on the surface but it is not integrated. Usualy that happens with borderline personality or in cases of shizophrenia, where the border between conscious and unconscious is very thin. I don't know why am I still surprised how some people, who are in a process of healing and transcendence, know so little about human psychodynamics and either become delusional or are advocating delusions. We all need to sober up fast if we wish to continue to grow spiritualy and psychologicaly.

@Valwyndir How do you know for sure you are Lyran starseed? Becose i don't believe it at all. You are an Earth bound human being and maybe you should accept that. To many people claim they are this and that starseeds, aliens etc. I think this is some defence strategy against childhood traumas. Healing is the only resolution.

@seeking_brilliance Well the thing is i study and practice ACIM in slovenian language. And even if in english, i wouldn't know how to post it here. Also i consider myself a beginner on the ACIM journey, even do i finished workbook the first time in the years 2006/7. For now i will just practice it on my own. But you've made some good sugestions about how to study it. I have to think about it.

@seeking_brilliance What kind of study do you have in mind? I've read the ACIM text multiple times and completed the workbook twice and i am still unable to make any kind of study about ACIM...
