Leo, you seem to be active on this forum basically all your waking hours mostly arguing with people and being a smartass. Is this what life looks like after "awakening"? Also I don't see how you possibly have time to meditate one hour per day as you claim to.

you're literally assuming things about me, because you don't know me at all, whereas I'm speaking about what I've observed. -

I'm just seeing someone who doesn't seem remotely qualified to give advice and unfortunately impressionable people are listening. -

you guys respond to any criticism of leo with the same exact things. They are tired cliches. Just like his "awakenings". And you don't have to be on as often as the person, just glance at when they were last active and it tells you. -

I've only been on this forum a few days, and I made it a point to check how often he's on here cause I was curious. I'm totally bailing on this forum after this thread. -

I've just been one here a little while, I've noticed how.he responds, what he tends to respond to, and how often he is on here, and i do not see an awakened person, let alone someone I'd want to listen to or aspire to be like. His awakenings do sound awful familiar though, almost as though I'd read them almost word for word in a dozen or so books about spirituality. -

anyway that's beside the point. Any time I criticize Leo people assume its cause I'm not spiritual or don't get it. I actually do have a spiritual practice, a pretty rigorous one, which has nothing to do with Leo. -

that's not my question! -

the point of this is to get a response from Leo, I think its a question worth asking, and I'm not looking for advice about my spiritual practice here. -

honestly I'm so grossed out and put off by Leo that I'm probably gonna bail on this forum. I was just trying to figure out what kind of people follow him and why, and I think I kinda got an answer. -

@Carl-Richard I'm just saying, leo does this in his videos. -
If you're a fan of teal swan you gotta listen to the podcast the gateway.

saying "I know the mind of god, therefore x", cannot be argued with reasonably, even if x is a so called rationalist point. -

@neutralempty I don't know where you're getting all that about me...i didn't say any of that. Just that he mixes up the two methods in such a way that makes things unsubstantiable or unfalsifiable. -

huh? -

@neutralempty I'm not interested in semantics or breaking down how we use language. -

hypothetical example: I became god so I know for sure and you must believe me 1+1=2 -

I know, but he does do it if you watch his videos. -

leo uses post rationalist arguments to justify rationalist ideas and vice versa. Having a recorded dialogue between him and someone who could point out inconsistencies like that could be illuminating. -

i do get your point but people who have made some of the wild claims Leo has made should be held to some scrutiny, that's all. Lots of his followers are gullible. And some of the stuff Leo talks about does fit into rationalist arguments. -
josh jones replied to tuckerwphotography's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
so don't call it a debate for Christ sake. I feel like this has become pointless semantics. -

Leo definitely uses both rationalism and post rationalism, and seems to confuse the two quite a bit, and it's also no reason why it wouldn't be beneficial to see him have some of his ideas challenged. -
josh jones replied to tuckerwphotography's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
no, legit debate is not that. also, it seems to be Leo uses rationalist arguments himself quite a bit. -

I don't really see anything about that in your comment. Isn't this also kind of a really easy excuse not to have your ideas or ways of teaching ever challenged at all though?
