Since when is spiritual stature measured by physique? Would you rather be tall and miserable, or this:

As I've shared before, I find little value in esoteric explorations. I don't discredit them, I just don't see them as helpful for spiritual growth. Levitating "for real" doesn't lessen suffering, or develop unconditional love. The Buddha didn't teach most of what he knew. He restricted his teachings to the dharma, or the spiritual path out of suffering and into enlightenment. Seeking a miracle will never deliver true freedom, which is only directly realized from within. Siddhis are supernatural powers, which some rare few are capable of. From my perspective, they can be dangerous, unless someone is truly awakened, because there is a significant risk that they will amplify the ego. It is easy to fall into the trap of feeling special when one is gifted in a particular siddhi. Specialness is the calling card of the ego, and the opposite of awakening. -

You experienced Solipsism. It is the realization that you are not your conditioned mind, but not yet the realization that you are everything, and every nothing. We are all the same Consciousness, experiencing life in different states of Self-awareness. Ultimate reality, relative reality, it is all Consciousness. -
Is the point of life to be ecstatic?

Only if you are wise. Most people get caught up in the physical senses, not realizing there is more. You have to wake up to realize who "you" actually are. Sensing is the dream of intuition.
-
The model, on this locus, is Sensing vs. Intuition. People strong in sensing are, not surprisingly, sense-oriented (sight/scent/touch/taste/hearing). Intuition is a "sixth-sense", which is based on direct realization.

@snowyowl We create the relative cosmos of duality for a reason, right? Nonduality is changeless, timeless, depthless. We are the abode of duality. We dream, because the discovery of our Self is delightful, otherwise what is there to discover? -

You got it All experience is limited and finite. It has a beginning and an ending. Life is inherently conditional, and always transient. With every life, there must be death. Nothing is needed, beyond who you already are, and always are. If you are not suffering, it seems that you have already realized this. It is rare not to suffer, and to simply be. Enjoy the not-suffering of the dream. -

Consciousness has the capacity to voluntarily sleep. Simple as that -

Make your life a meditation. You don't have to sit in a dark cave to let go of the monkey mind, and simply be present. Internal connection vs. external realization. They are both ultimately the same. -
I suspect there is a correlation between ego and authoritarianism.

Consciousness creates. Not because it gets bored, but because creativity is its essence. Consciousness has no choice in the matter. It does what it does, because it is what it is. Simple as that. -

The feast is here, and everyone is invited. The ego is hungry for something better, which is not actually better, but it wants to feel superior, and so it leaves the table. The feast is already abundant and delicious. Fools look for food where there is none, failing to see the feast that is already here now. -
Live with integrity, love yourself, and realize yourself in everyone else. Easier said than done, but there you go.

Are you the monkey mind chatter, or the silent, spacious Awareness in which the words arise?

That explains why "T" was high. Spiritual giftedness, it could be argued, is the capacity for letting go of "T" and simply being. Not to say there aren't plenty of woke folks across all categories

Define "giftedness". The person listed in the Watkins Review as the most spiritually influential person in the world is an INFJ:

Consciousness isn't even conscious of itself, in certain states. How else could it "awaken", except by pretending that time and existence are real? It's the extra-cosmic interplay between formless and form, the dream within ultimate reality. -

Look at the mystics across every belief system: Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, etc. The defining feature is direct realization of truth, beyond conceptualization. This direct realization is recognized as the ultimate authority, and the only voice worth trusting. -
I have read the bible numerous times, as well as some beautiful Indian/Buddhist scriptures, like the Bhagavad Gita and the Dhammapada. At the core, they reveal the same essential truth. Traps to avoid are concepts, beliefs, and any other claim that cannot be directly realized. Also, be careful about any organizations established around these beliefs. Ultimately, it is an individual journey, back to the non-place of non-individuality. As Aldous Huxley summarized, the Perennial Philosophy appears in every age and civilization: There is an infinite, changeless reality beneath the world of change This same reality lies at the core of every personality The purpose of life is to discover this reality experientially, that is, to realize God while here on earth

Entirely endorsed, I loved it when I saw it a few months back. Consciousness is so infinitely creative. ? -

See the same Self in your friends and family. Look beyond the personalities, and see Yourself in them. Just love them, without expectations, because they are You. If you are truly awake, their state of seeing is just part of the game, so make it easier for "them", and for "yourself", by simply loving and being Oh, and don't count the ego out. It is always there, waiting in the wings.
