"Cringe is the intense visceral reaction produced by an awkward moment, an unpleasant kind of self-recognition where you suddenly see yourself through someone else’s eyes. It’s a forced moment of self-awareness, and it usually makes you cognizant of the disappointing fact that you aren’t measuring up to your own self-concept." Book : Cringeworthy, A Theory of Awkwardness by Melissa Dahl. . When you realize that other is just as flesh and bones as you, you will stop trying to look at yourself through their eyes. You got to develop that awareness, first. . These are reviews, in case you wish to read the book. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2416758539 https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35260126-cringeworthy

Are you trying to do a detox - sugar, caffeine, etc.? It can lead to withdrawal symptoms, and can make it hard for you to concentrate on your other tasks, especially the new ones. If the detox is not the case, then, sure - go ahead; the changes in your physical training and nutrition are incremental, and wouldn't affect your meditation practice much.

Thank you, @Forestluv. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2004/feb/26/research.science This is what this Guardian article says. "While the experiment is quoted as evidence of LSD's toxicity, it seems most likely that the Thorazine or the combination of drugs killed Tusko, not the acid. Lending credence to this, in 1984 psychologist Ronald K Siegel repeated the experiment with two elephants, using LSD only. Both survived."

@Gesundheit, (Through the basic moral reasoning that is agreed upon by the society at large, stealing would be considered wrong, and the person would be tried in a court of law - that is established knowledge.) I seek to move beyond that here. Nonetheless, to deal with this paradox, we will have to weaken the assumptions, through the method of stratification, for this circularity to disappear. So, we can divide this further into different categories, or orders of knowledge: Stratification: Stealing is considered evil by the society Who make the society? Individuals make the society, and each have opinions. What are opinions? Opinions are made of thoughts. What are judgements? When opinions come together and are treated as established knowledge. So, Personal thoughts and established knowledge = judgements. Therefore, Opinions = Judgement Would there be any opinions without individuals? No. If the opinions do not come together as established knowledge, can they form judgements? No. So with the same logic, For a label to exist there should be a personal thought and established knowledge. So, Label = Opinion So there can be a deductive reasoning of this sort, too - Using a syllogism here - Every opinion is a judgement A label is an opinion Therefore, A label is a judgement Hence, stealing is just an opinion = judgement = label . . Feel free to disagree. -
I had asked the same question a month ago, and this is the thread. Hope this helps.

Exactly like God with our existence.

Not so much an assumption, but an inference, considering there is something to be found - as if it is something to be possessed. The reason for his action will determine his reward. What is the motivation here? Is it a sort of material justification through which the highest mountain has gained an 'elevated' position? Seems like his justifying reasons are motivating him - hence, the presuppositions. Does 'perfect' fall into any particular category? Are we rationalizing it?
-
@JosephKnecht By getting rid of all his presuppositions in his map of meaning.

Learn how to master human relations. I cannot stress this enough. Also, learn about law-related stuff that is of importance to your business. Learn software development, if you can. There are courses on Udemy. You should know the basics, at least.

@lmfao lmfao. I quit non-vegetarian food for 5 months, and my body did not accept it. Our bodies are different, and we should be aware of what works best for us and what doesn't. Now, my diet is vegetarian, mostly - with an occasional non-vegetarian dish. Also, have you heard of the Blue Zones? These people live longer than average, and they owe it to their dietary habits. Almost 95% of their diet comprises of plant-based stuff. They eat meat sparingly. Check this out. It's amazing: 1) https://www.bluezones.com/2020/07/blue-zones-diet-food-secrets-of-the-worlds-longest-lived-people/#:~:text=Consume meat no more than twice a week.&text=Avoid processed meats like hot,ate no meat at all.) 2) https://www.bluezones.com/recipes/food-guidelines/ .
