  1. Thanks @Michael569 I’ve been told it can take a very long time (months apparently) as many other houses have been affected. Is there anything else I can do?
  2. @Michael569 No. Hopefully insurance will replace it. No guarantees though. They are also very busy as the place I live in has had lots of incidents with flooding since a few days ago. We own this place. We just got a dehumidifier today, but not fully sure how it works. What room should they be placed in? And are there any particular dehumidifiers that are good? What if we can’t get out of there?
  3. A large part of my house got flooded a few days ago and a lot of time has been put into getting the floodwater out. Even right now, my carpet is still soaked with water, despite us renting a water vacuum (some type of tool like that). It’s a deep carpet too, so I don’t know if it’ll ever completely get out. It feels weird sleeping in my bedroom now, knowing that my carpet is soaked and that I might get mold toxicity. The humidity levels in our house is very high, because the outside humidity is 90%+. So I’ve had had 80%-90% humidity inside my house, and it doesn’t reduce at all despite me trying to use fans and keeping all the windows and doors closed. I already have health problems and I have asthma, so that makes me even more susceptible to mold exposure. I’m concerned about getting mold toxicity, and it seems like there’s a high chance I might get it. What can I do about this?
  4. @Michael569 What do you mean? How should my breathing be? I breathe through my nose, but my left one is always blocked. No, I don't experience any chest tightness. From asthma, yes. I very rarely go outside of my home for a few days or more at a time. It has been a long time since I last did that, so I don't know.
  5. @blueberries What subjects/degrees give you the most free time? This sounds like a waste of time if we are talking about starting a business. How is writing essays analyzing case studies and theories going to help me start a business? It sounds too theoretical. @Leo Gura Even what @blueberries just talked about? It sounds so theoretical and barely applicable to starting a real business.
  6. @Michael569 Overnight? Does that mean he literally went vegan for one day and it disappeared overnight? He had meat the previous day? Doesn’t it need to get out of his system first to help?
  7. @Leo Gura Are you still researching and trying to figure out a solution? Or have you given up and just accepted it?
  8. @Leo Gura How is your chronic fatigue now, Leo?
  9. @blueberries I would consider Philosophy, because it is something I do anyway, but apparently the degree is useless. Is that true? What is Economics like? Even Marketing? I guess it's only digital marketing that could be applicable to starting a business?
  10. @Yarco That makes sense. So it's not what the tool is, it's how you use the tool. I know I'm enslaved. As soon as possible. This is the exact script that I want to avoid. Thanks for the heads-up. If you don't mind me asking, what were all of the careers that you wanted to do when you were in high school? That is unfortunate. Couldn't you have dropped out at one point while you were in university?
  11. @Leo Gura Business school? Is that the same as a degree in business? Like a Bachelors of Business/Commerce? Like I said to Yarco, for some reason I have a belief that marketing is unethical. I can’t pinpoint where this belief came from. Computer science is something I am considering, but I am not sure how much of it is actually coding and programming.
  12. Thanks @Yarco for your detailed response. I don’t think it is. I’ve learned more from my own curiosity, books, and courses, than all 13 years of my schooling combined. Convince them of what? Do my parents have a role in this? Yes. A large part of why I’m going because my parents want me to go. They can’t take not going as an option. No. People want results. I don’t think qualifications are absolutely necessary to provide results, (unless you’re doing medicine, law, etc). What do you think? Yes. Okay. For some reason I have a belief that marketing is unethical. I can’t pinpoint where this belief came from. What do you think? I can’t know that yet because I haven’t experienced it. I don’t know what it’s like. Ideally, this is how I would’ve done it. I just don’t want to severe my relationship with my parents. In our (Asian) culture it’s kind of a huge thing to not go to university, and my parents have a social image to maintain. I don’t care about that social image though, because frankly, I don’t want to enslave my life to what my parents, parents’ friends, and extended relatives want. I will be completely free at some point in my life, I am just not there yet. I’m working towards it.
  13. (Titles have a character limit so I had to make it shorter) What are the best university degrees to major in if you plan on starting your own business with what you learn from university? I don't expect university to teach me everything I need to know when it comes to running a business online, so I'm going to be starting one while I am at university. I am considering software engineering. But I might do a bachelor of business/commerce instead. If I go with business, what should I choose? Marketing? Any advice or tips would be great, thanks.
  14. @Jannes Thanks. So it seems like meat is the only option I have here.
  15. @martins name How do you connect more with this 'healing power of love'? That makes sense. So spiritual bypassing has nothing to do with how you prioritize or what your priorities are, right? You could just ignore your lower needs and shoot straight for Enlightenment. But that is quite rare and not recommended, right?
