@mr_engineer No one has ever said PA first goal is to find make you find the love of your life. This might be a product of it. As i already said you do coscious dating so that you become more authentic, leading, decisive, pleasent and fearless man. And this will make you good at attracting women, and you can't escape the attraction phase in relationship. Even if you find this hypothetical enlightened woman, you willl still have to attract her, make her curious about you, impress her. You will will have to go on dates with her. what do you expect? that she's going to fall for you just because you have spirituality in common? You see what i'm saying? how are you going to solve this? You might say "I'm going to be me and act naturally" but what if your natural you is an unattractive, unecperienced, fearful, boring guy? Chances are that clueless guy, but funnier and more interesting than you will take her away and you'll be left with nothing This is where conscious dating theory and practice comes in action. It seems to me that it is you the one that believes in in that steriotipical love you accuse women to believe in. You are basically asking to play a concert a the opera with little knowledge on how to touch a piano to make those beatiful melodies. @mr_engineer so: 1- You are making the error of thinking pick up is not ethical from God's perspective. If you want to make spiritual, look at it from this perspective: you do pick-up to gain abilities, traits and remove mental hindrances that will make you more authentic, centered, positive, and from this newly aquired place, then be really able to truly give and recieve LOVE. if for manipulation you mean - Behave in a certain way with poeple so that it will cause them to act in certain way - then, in every relationship you use some degree of manipulation (parents, lovers, friends etc.) Now, i understand you worrings, as some viscious poeple, including the majority of PUA's, don't hesitate to make poeple suffer in order to get what they want. But there is also conscientious and sustainable ways to use Pick-up techniques so that every one wins. So where should we stop then? The aswer is, as any rule on human decency would suggest, do not use your ability to hurt poeple psichologically and phisically. This requires us to try to be always in check with the emotional state of the (potential) partner. 2- keep in mind that most realtions fails anyway. You should be in relatioship to have a good time, experience intimacy, complity, to gain insight into your self and others and possibly, love. But even the greatest of love can end. This to say that pick up and relatioship in general are a way to meet you bodily and psichological needs. So don't make the error of searching spiritual completeness and satisfactoriness into another human being. Even though is safe to say that the dating game can help in the progress, the ultimate spiritual work must be done alone, indipendently of all the rest.

@mr_engineer Survival is not just having a roof over your head. What about her need to feel strong emotions, be led and dominated, stimulated mentally and sexually, the thrill of being with a player? How is she going to get that from a needy boring ass nice guy?

@SQAAD Actually, you are asking this from a dual point of view, see how you mention your psyche, your needs, your biases etc. Notice how humans repulse these concepts. Ask your self why. God on the other hand, cares for the well beings of all threads of imaginations it creates, so in its being, indifference, cruelty, viciousness, brutality, are allowed to be what they are, lovingly "but they are baaad!!!" - to you and from your tiny perspective, maybe "meaning" is a concept created by humans so they cam make sense of reality. God's POV doesn't nead ameaning or purpose to make sense of itself. If you get above your POV you could appreciate that without pain thre woulden't be pleasure aswell. without this duality the manifested universe wouldn't exist.

If you feel like it's too much to handle take a break and go do "normal" things, don't be to hard on your self. You need integration. Then come back stronger, starting to look at how you're finite identity is reacting to your contemplations. Next stop is digregating this identity, because it is the one your negative feelings and belief about reality hinge upon Look at your tendency to strumentalize any conclusions you get to. @melontonin You can see how it works on a small scale: ex. You think of think of drinking water ------> then you actually go do it and have the experience. ------ So we can assume it can work on a bigger scale aswell. Harder to do and to prove but we can get some hints. Ex. Manipulating your feelings, beliefs and mindset is already a form of law of attraction applied. By having the right kind of feeling, right now, throwing in the bin limiting beliefs, replacing them with better beliefs, having a clearer and detailed idea of what you want, you are in a sense, already closer to your goal. If you apply this priciples, tied with visualization for example, you'll start to get syncronicities etc., and those are certainly real, and are not mistakable for "random coincidences". Look at Jung's work for referance. This of course doesn't mean that you should be sitting for the fruit to fall in you hand, work and action is still needed, so as it is said: "God helps those who help themselves". no magic, this is being logical. This is true, but doesn't disprove the law of attraction, because reality is impersonal, but still structured by laws. In the Dream, you know the laws well enough, you can know how to use them, an if you know howw to use them, you can get what you want faster.

@Vibroverse true true aswell -------- In general, don't take any religous scripture too literally, as it usually is stuffed with cultural bullshit of the time. You can certenly find encoded mysticism in the quran, but is often covered in allegories etc., and certanly not the main purpose of the book. If you want to spiritual interpretation of Islam, research Sufism.

Attention is one of two forms of conscious awareness. Peripheral awareness is the second: we pay attention to some things, while simultaneously being aware of, but not attending to, others. Attention isolates some small part of the field of conscious awareness from the rest so that it can be identified, interpreted, labeled, categorized, and its significance evaluated. The function of attention is discernment, analysis, and discrimination. I suggest you to read the whole book, expecially its explenation of the mind-system. It's a practice manual, but there's planty of theory aswell.

@CuriousityIsKey You are mistaking God's Love for human selfish "love". True Love is so loving that allows suffering and misery to exist and doesn't distinguish between things, like we humans do. Not attracting, nor rejecting.

@Someone here haha of course truth exists, but i explained afore that it won't reveal itself as long as ego/pov/perspective is active and percived as solid entity or activity. That is exacly the point. The aswer is: Truth is the Content of experience (perception or no perception) but become evident only when there is a shift in the Context of experience (awakening). So your last line si factually wrong, you CAN have no perceptions and still be coscious (countless material on this has been written, (expecially in Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta, research the practice of Yoga Nidra) so no, Truth is indipendent of perception. Actually, Truth becomes self-evident without perceptions, sice sensory noise can function as a distraction. Good reasoning but wrong conclusion. True, the boundery between perciever and percieved is illusory. As i've said, you can have conscousness/awereness wothout perceptions.

@Someone here You basically repeated your first post and i agree with with you, but still: If you talk about relative knowledge, such has the longest river in america, no no amount of it wil give you Truth If again by knowlrdge you mean relative, then no. Actually no can never extenguish relative knowledge by definition. But truth can be accessed, only that, by then as you say, you will be no longer human as you will have transcended you limitations. So yes, a human can collect relative knowledge to get to some relative truth, but it shoulds renounce its existence to become absolute Truth.

@Someone here meh.... in spiritual terms Truth is exacly the absence of perspective, and the absence of the world you look at through your lenses, so no world --------> no perspective----------> just Truth/ God. If you get the sense that Your experience of God / unity was filteredby the Ego, then it was not God / Unity Your point only counts for relative worldy things such as doctrines, not God it self.

@Epikur what he calls hypocrisy is called nuanced thinking. i don't see contraddiction in the clips. Only someone with fault logic would. You got to understand that Sadhguru talk to regular poeple like you would communicate to your dog, so he adjust his speech accordingly.

@SQAAD This is a classical fallacy. At the highest level Samsara is Nirvana. No difference But who designed the highest teachings knew the ignorance of the students and created this division so that the stubborn finite mind could have a frame of reference. This of cour doesn't mean that it doesn't feel fucking real when you are in it. This helps developing traction in your spiritual persue and give you a meaning to practice (from falshood------->to Truth) But if you go far enough on the path you'll naturally start to transcend the structures and doctrines.

@Barna If with "Cousciousness" you mean reality/experience, of course it continues after death, how couldn't it? You don't need to be awake to grasp it. It's logical. How can something infinite and eternal end? Do you need to count to infinity to know that numbers are infinite? Don't conflate agnosticism with skepticism. Agnosticism is just stupid and lazy. Skepticism is a means to an end instead.
