My psilocybin playlist is Bob Marley -
Love this. I feel like the first part can carry over to many other addictions like porn and masturbation.

Interesting suggestion. -
I think De-construction Vs. Construction would be a very fun foundational episode to listen to.

I'm pretty sure Leo communicated that you should live your life Guided by principles, high consciousness values, and a life purpose, not to plan too far ahead and rather follow your intuition and let life unfold naturally. The “ride the wave of life” approach.

I have been inspired to give several examples. ############################# I think one of the most tricky traps that is extremely difficult to navigate is a very charismatic/manipulative person. Especially when they are someone like your boss. and especially when your boss is paying you pretty well so it's in your survival agenda to bend to their whim and to turn a blind eye when they do something that violates Integrity with yourself and your values. So over the summer I had a boss that was extremely good at manipulating people because he was a door-to-door salesman for over 8 years. He was super good at it that he basically had 10,000 hour mastery. He was able to sell a service for a very premium price. and he would use that same type of manipulation with his staff where it would always be my fault or the problem would always be mine instead of him taking responsibility for it. To the point where he would be able to flip a situation where he would treat me unfairly and I would have to pay for it and he would manipulate you that you are doing it out of the good of your heart because you want to be a “good person” and that what you're doing to serve him was just “you growing up”, or “being a man” or whatever. He would have very toxic stage orange views on reality and I would just agree with him because I was really just there for the money, not trying to rock the boat. But you know, that rubs off on you a bit. Making money is a huge place where you can break a lot of your values and integrity, especially when you're making something in a day that you would make in one week at a normal, minimum wage job. The way I looked at it was, I'm only talking to my boss very minimally which was the case with my work, so it didn't rub off too much, and also this money would open up so much more opportunity to fulfill my life purpose. Plus I wasn't harming other humans, but yeah that's where you got to watch it because the corruption happens where it's alloyed with the good. Let's just say it's very difficult for me to trust a very good salesman, ESPECIALLY when you KNOW that they're a really good salesman. That is my most recent example. Charismatic personalities has had my sis fall for scams over seven times. And she's way older than me. Nobody ever suspects someone is completely lying to their face. Many of us do not know when we are experiencing someone who is a really good liar. A good rule of thumb is when money is involved, trickery is happening, probably. Also never make a big Financial decision when you're in an unusually uplifted mood. In Fantasy land. Like what happens when a charismatic person manipulates you. I think I particularly can fall prey to being socially manipulated because of my inexperience with socialization and inability to perceive boundaries that I have to set with people. When I tell some of the things that my boss would do/say to me, one of my friends would have set up a boundary right there and left that job/ situation. A serious inexperience with socialization with people has left me impaired in learning the red flags people put up. Like I was so socially unaware when I was young that I would legitimately talk to someone that was a pedophile. Seeing nothing wrong with it and just seeing them as a friend. Or I would get involved in a friend group that was turning me into a toxic ideologue and I would dress, act and think in ways that would push normal people away and prevent me from making any normal friends. I realized anytime you’re trying to fulfill a need, you got to look at the mine field in front of you. ################## This topic reminds me of old money flip scams in RuneScape that I fell for when I was like 7 years old or whatever. I mean because it was a game, in my mind, it was legitimately possible for someone to go in the code or something and flip your money. But now that I think of it someone could just literally just give free money not needing the initial trade. but when you're 7 you don't know that, however, interestingly enough, getting scammed in a game helped me avoid scams in real life. ####################### I remember I was going to an event to learn about success or networking or something like that, and it ended up being some sort of AutoTrader scam where they gave you like a shitty laptop that would trade money with an AI automatically and it was like $60,000. Now because I was like 16 years old at the time and I wasn't their target audience, it didn't really have me interested, I was there just to network my 3D designing business lol. Their target audience was desperate old people that were looking for a last hope for their financial situation. And they would get you all pumped up and stuff and I'm pretty sure they had people there that were paid that posed as casual people in the group to get you all hyped up I'll never forget this one guy I like looking at me that was sitting beside me like super hyped up and my body was just like telling me how inauthentic it was, but at the time I wasn't really aware, only reflecting back on it now do I realize that. I just remember feeling something off. Like, “This is kind of weird, why is this guy SO enthusiastic?”. They were doing stuff like: “Look if you hate money you got to leave this room right now”. Getting audience participation to be like altogether saying, “Yes I'm ready for financial success today”. Reminds me a whole lot about “contrepreneurs”. This guy breaks this stuff down EXCELLENTLY: ########################## The stuff like video games with their microtransactions are seriously good at this stuff. Where the trickery happens where you don't realize that the entire game is made to psychologically manipulate you into opening your wallet, or where the game is clearly designed to farm ads off of you. Leo I know you know all too much about this bullshit that corrupted the industry. You cannot find a single decent mobile game now. “Freemium” games, etc. Jim Sterling rants and raves all about this. ################################################ One way I got “scammed” by the medical industry was this. I was going to a skin doctor for him to look at the acne/cysts on my back, and he just wrote me a prescription for some pills and some cream. So am like “I okay whatever, he probably knows what he's doing, the solution probably works.” I go to the pharmacy, they fill the prescription, they had me wait a bit, and the bill was like over a hundred bucks. I wouldn't have taken the prescription and I would have just found an alternative remedy if I knew it cost that much. And it never really solved my problem completely. A way more conscious way of them practicing medicine would be them telling me off the bat how much it would cost me BEFORE filling the prescription. Because when the prescription is filled, you're pressured out of social courtesy to just pay it. A lot of times services will just assume you're going to pay for it and do the service for you or give you the product, and then when the bill comes in and it's way more than you anticipated, you're kind of fucked. How about when you go to a bar and you order a drink and the prices are not listed right there, or the waiter doesn’t tell you how much you’ll be paying for it, the waiter just gives it to you, and then you get the bill and it's overpriced as hell. ######################################################### I remember I was signing up for a phone plan that I knew I only wanted for 4 months Max, and they were like; “oh let's just throw in this free digital tablet”, and I'm like “okay that's cool, free tablet”, and then I asked them, “okay but what happens when I cancel the membership 4 months from now”, and they answered: “Well because you're not going to be under our plan for 18 months you will have to pay for the tablet”. When a company does something like throwing a free tablet, it's probably not free haha. Or when a company gives you a discounted price, that price was probably the normal price. But they put that perception in your mind that you're getting a deal. This is especially true when they are betting on your lack of knowledge of the market and the value of the service. So gaining knowledge of the market can help deter you of these. A lot of times just inexperience with how people can scam you is how you fall for these traps, an unawareness that traps may exist in this domain. The assumption that there is no need to always be vigilant of traps falling in your lap. Or even just failing to ask yourself once in a while, “How could I be falling for a trap right now?” ####################################################### Whenever something is not widely known about, nobody has a buffer for what is legitimate and what is not. When that is the case, you can almost guarantee that it's going to be riddled with scams. Which is basically everything that is not taught in our very limited education system You see this with money, self-help, Trading, crypto, whatever is hot, new, and exciting, and appeals to solving painpoints in your life. With all this cryptocurrency and day trading stuff being all new and nobody knows anything about it, immediately you can intuit that it's going to be riddled with scams left and right, profiting off of people's lack of knowledge and poor skills with epistemology, metaphysics, understanding of authority, verifying authenticity of sources, etc. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Damn, ain't that the truth. Solid. Solid. > Create the free content that you enjoy creating the most. I wonder what are all the things that google penalizes you for. Awesome. I love this thread so much, wow. So much valuable stuff in here.

Yeah @Olivia24, apparently it turns out that you dream a whole lot more when your head is above your body relative to gravity making the fluid in your body flow to your brain differently as if you're awake, activating parts of your brain to make you dream a heck of a lot more, there was a thread on this forum talking all about it. Totally underrated thread. See below.

Yea if I recall correctly I got it from you.

Yeah I'm not really too worried about that, The amount of girls I've tried to pick up in the last 3 years I can count on one hand, and I didn't even put in much effort. Just have been focusing on other matters. I bet if I actually put some effort in I could easily get a gf within a month with some serious pickup hustle.

This. I love songs that make you FEEL deeply, I'm addicted to that. These are some of my go-to's when feel sad or down.

I sleep like 9-12 hours a day, I'm too addicted to my dreams. I dream like crazy, and with my bed propped up 6 inches at the head, it supercharges that. When I was working physically over the summer i got a solid 7- 8 hours and felt great. I have less energy now, even though I'm sleeping so much, and it's especially because how less active I am. Although I AM sick atm lol.

Lmao I wish I was 5ft 8. I'm 5ft 3.

In my experience, you can literally BS your way into jobs that you're not even qualified for. Adding experience in a resume that you don't even have. Most people don't even fact check. Just make sure you have the stories and knowledge to back up your claims. And maintain mindfulness of your devilry to minimize deluding yourself. Honestly it really is how well you can manipulate the perceptions of your employers. And that is best done through phone calls and face to face. I've never really gotten a job with just a resume, it's always been when I've spoken to the employer.

NFTs are wild. Literally Dutch Tulips 2.0 like Leo said. It seems like these crazy opportunities of dumb luck get rich stuff is popping up more and more often. Crypto, Gamestop stocks, NFTs. What's next?

Can confirm this does work. Increases the amount of Vivid dreams a crazy amount. Literally making sleep addictive with the amount of dreams I get. I'll also report getting a more restful sleep. And thus needing less of it. Had a friend try it and he was baffled with the results he got by doing something so Stupidly simple. This is an amazing thing to try because you get result right away on your first night. 10/10. If you're reading this and haven't tried it, do it! What have you got to lose?! This is literally "here's one weird trick" tier level shit. -
Memory Palaces. I personally Really like this dude who made a masterclass: The Magnetic Memory Method. https://www.magneticmemorymethod.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdIwC3d4CRjrrQdaqZaNBpA

I remember on my first shroom trip I avoided my blender because I knew I was open minded enough to stick my hand in it. I was probably fine but ya know it was my first trip. I also remember on another trip, wanting to stab myself in the chest with Thumbtacks because reasons. Probably wiping of ego/fear.

I really love this.

I used to have these issue quite a bit and struggled with it a lot. Not just with Leo but with other teachers as well. And videos like this are extremely frustrating and pathetic. I honestly even considered making videos in counteraction to people like this pointing out their ignorance and stupidity. But unfortunately, from my direct experience, if someone is set on their ideas, such an approach almost never would work in opening their mind to thinking otherwise. PLUS, doing that would be focusing on the lesser jihad and not the greater jihad. See: "Understanding Islam - What Most People Misunderstand" https://youtu.be/Fe3iqJ6hTGA (On my journey, I have had to leave entire tribes of people because they were too ignorant and close minded, and as a result they were toxic as fuck and even made fun of me for it. As you self actualize further, expect to alienate pretty much 99% of the people that you've been around your whole life. You can still have a connection with them, but you'll never be able to talk about deep metaphysical truths because it's just way outside of their scope of understanding. The self actualization path is a lonely one, but you do find new, higher consciousness people along your journey, but in the end this game is a solo one.) You realize that playing games of "who's in the right" is nonsense. It helped me a lot by digging through old threads where Leo addressed it and was completely unphased by it because he saw it for the distraction it was. And that's pretty much what it is, a distraction from you doing the personal work. If you get emotionally upset about this, that's an amazing opportunity to turn inward, feel inward, and contemplate about what the hell is going on. The bottom line is, as you become more conscious, you'll realize that they are simply ignorant of what they're talking about. If they knew about actualized.org with as much depth as you knew, they wouldn't make such videos and criticisms. When you really step in their shoes and really realize that their actions are just a function of their ignorance, you'll be able to empathize with them and understand them from where they're at. That empathy will set you free. The more conscious you become, the less this nonsense bothers you. Simply put, if they truly knew what they were talking about, they would not be saying what they are saying.

I have been really working to figure out how to increase my motivation, drive and purpose. I want to cultivate a deep emotional passion for my work. Through my musings, it has become abundantly clear to me that I need a strong vision. It has become crystal clear to me that I need Crystal Clear Clarity in the vision I want to create in order to put in the required effort to do something great. The one thing that I have not done from the life purpose course is work hours and hours toward creating a big juicy Vision that is worth dying for. Worth suffering for. I realize that cultivating a big juicy vision may require a lot more effort than I initially anticipated, but I'm willing to put in the time and effort. I really want my practice to be grounded in a deep vision. Through that, I expect that will help summon a lot more energy and strength by grounding my daily practice in something profound. I'm looking for techniques. Practices, ideas that will help me forge a vision that will allow for deep emotional backing to be put in place behind it. So far my ideas are: Looking for a visionary that I really admire. And studying them. Reading biographies of great visionaries. Journaling every single day about what I want to create. Contemplating what I want to create. What are your tips for cultivating a strong vision?

Here is a question that I really want answered. As teaching is a paramount skill to build with my life purpose. Leo, how did you learn to teach the way you do? Being able to teach with basically no cuts and no messing up. To teach with such effectiveness, and to go into profound levels of DEPTH into a topic as you do. The way you hammer home a point at all angles. The way you present information in a specific way to match the paradigm of your viewer. (ex: The scientific/Rationalist minded paradigm, a closed mind, a skeptic, etc.) How did you learn to build that skill? How deep and thoroughly do you need to know a topic to be able to teach it like that? What’s the thinking process in creating such an effective lesson? What's the structure? What were the grueling practice routines that you put yourself through? Tell me about the amount of time you dedicated to practicing teaching like that. What are some examples of practice routines you've used? What is some information that has helped inform your practice/craft? (Books/lectures you studied to build this skill, principles you follow, techniques you employ, etc) In other words: Tell me about the meat that makes the sausage. Congratulations on the 1 million, you've earned it all, and you deserve many more. Namaste.

Welp, thanks for pointing out a limiting belief I didn't know I had.
