It’s possible. I used to be addicted to sweets (mint chocolate icecream, werthers candy, tres leche cakes, etc). Now, I eat one meal a day ~20 gr carb whole food Keto diet. Even with one meal a day, I don’t have hunger or snack food cravings. Before starting the keto diet, I went on an extended fast to break my addiction to all processed or junk food. Dr. Eric Berg’s youtube channel has lots of videos on keto and intermittent fasting that I found useful. I also take Athletic Greens to supplement my diet.

@kamwalker I verified with Ehrlich Reagent test. It’s legit. I agree that taking high dose is reckless. I have a lot of respect for these chemicals and plan to ladder up in dosage. Hopefully @Adodd tip about Lions mane will get rid of the brain fog to allow me to scale up. -

1000 ug? In the past, I’ve done 210 ug, and I get major brain fog where I want to sleep it off, but can’t sleep for 10+ hours. I’ve lowered the dose to find if there is a sweet spot, but no luck. I might try getting back to lsd and upping the dose, but really dread laying there in a brain fog for hours on end. -
Bro, The "grinding" part of RPGs comes down to setting up daily habits. There's an app that gamifies the daily habit tracking called Habitica. It looks like something you might be interested in. "Gamify Your Life - Habitica is a free habit-building and productivity app that treats your real life like a game. With in-game rewards and punishments to motivate you and a strong social network to inspire you, Habitica can help you achieve your goals to become healthy, hard-working, and happy."

As I got older and wiser, i.realized that 90% of the people I know and love are fuckign dumbasses. Don’t allow dumbasses to live rent free in your head or give credence to their opinions of you.

Sigh, All of the mesh RDAs suitable for direct emesh are out of stock in the US. Not about to buy one from online store in China.

I have no idea what a McD BTS meal is but the ad just popped up on my Twitter feed. I think the universe is trolling me.
-
I haven’t gone to McD in years. Reading this makes me yearn to come back and start dunking some nuggets in their nostril clearing honey mustard sauce. Sure, the nuggets are basically unidentifiable bits of chicken deep fried into nice size package. But when combined with a mustard sauce that contains layered notes of honey, vinegar, and salt, it comes together like a power ranger Megazord in your mouth.

Wealthy mindset is about delaying instant gratification, avoiding excess spend on depreciating assets, & prioritizing elimination of detrimental liabilities (ex: high interest debt). Extra cash is viewed as a conduit towards future compounded gains, not increased consumption. 2k is not really that much to be spending on something that is work related. Go for it.

FEAR of failure. Failure is not an option.

According to Steve Jobs sister his final words were: 'Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow. This adds credence to @132faces saying that death is beautiful. Who knows, he might have been in pain and said Oh ouch, Oh Ouch.

No one living knows the answer to this age old question, since those that have died have a really hard time typing the answer on this forum. When it does happen to you, you will either find out, or you won’t. If you do know it’ll be truly fascinating, and if you don’t then you, fortunately, won’t be around to care.

Take it easy, nothing matters in the end, what goes up must come down and vice versa.

Drinking it warm maybe Gross. You might think about chilling it and just chug it down.

I was renewing my driver license and there is a check box for Organ Donation. I know all the benefits of becoming an organ donor, but still decided not to for selfish reasons. Primarily, I do not want to tempt fate. Stupid reason with no justification, but still... I am curious if anyone here changed their minds after working on self actualization.
-
I am going to present two scenarios that are unlikely to happen and are not good enough reasons to not be a donor. What if there was a trauma doctor whose spouse is at the top of the list to get a heart transplant. I was on the operating table and was a perfect match for a donation. What if I only had a 50% chance of living if the doctor takes “heroic” action to save my life. Knowing that I was an organ donor and 50% survival, would the doctor be tempted to take lesser action? What if my organs go to someone I dislike? For example, I hate people who abuse their pets. What if my organs extend the life of someone who goes on to extend the suffering of their pets? I can come up with more unlikely scenarios, but you get the idea.

According to the internet, Snozzberries are literally dicks. -
Reminds me of the old Juiceman commercials.

A big part of mental toughness is consistency of action when facing adversity or worse boredom. Going through this type of program would instill the daily habits where you stick to a schedule and overcome challenges and distractions. If I were doing the program, I would replace the 1 gal water with daily meditation and go for 90 days.

Do two 45-minute workouts a day, one of which must be outside Follow a healthy diet with zero alcohol or cheat days Take a progress picture every day Drink one gallon of water daily Read 10 pages a day of a nonfiction book If you fail, you must start over again at Day One

I like the regular clock work bowl movement that coffee provides. I go in the morning and don’t have to worry about it for the rest of the day. Some people demonize caffeine, but I think One cup a day is probably good for your overall health.

No. Ashwagandha is similarly purported to reduce anxiety and stress, but I didn't notice this benefit. I also bought some kava kava pills off Amazon and did not notice this effect either. Noble Kava powder on an empty stomach provides me a similar buzz to alcohol. Kava would be more for the social inhibition features of alcohol. It is not as strong as alcohol so it would work well for chilling at the house after a day of work, but less well for going out to the club and hitting on the honeys. Kava is a good alternative to alcohol and like alcohol it puts a stress on your liver. So, don't combine it with alcohol or consume it if you already have a damaged liver or combine with other liver stressing drugs like Paracetamol. Paracetamol can cause liver damage at high doses, or when it’s combined with other substances that affect the liver, like alcohol.
-
Look into noble kava root powder (not the pills). Messy to make and taste like drinking earthy plant roots, but has a nice easy, relaxing feel.

If you haven’t tried Beta-blockers yet, worth looking into.

Not for a short fast, but I would consider drinking urine if would help with curbing appetite for fasting longer than 10 days. Maybe have some chilling in bottles and pretend it’s craft beer while chugging it down.
