The magic key- water! Literally. Have 12 to 15 glasses of it. Carry a bottle everywhere. It's not just good for your skin but for your overall body.Exercise as much as you can. Eat green vegetables and try to keep that stress out of your life. For acne, try products with benzoyl peroxide and tea tree oil. Have green tea twice. You'll be fine

There was a time when I used to complete literally everyone's biology diagrams in the class cuz that was my idea of 'helping' back then. But I realised that everyone was just trying to use me and I never blamed them cuz I was the one who gave them the power to do that. I soon dropped that habit anyway. I agree with the point made by @FindingPeace that there is a difference between those who can't take the responsibility vs. those who actually need help. I would encourage you to keep up with the act of helping others as the selfless forms the minority, not the majority. We need more kind hearted people to bring peace and joy. Helping others, even in like the slightest manner can give you immense joy and satisfaction, at least that is how I feel when I help someone. Plus helping someone will eventually encourage others to be better.

The story of my experiments with the truth by M.K. Gandhi. It's an autobiography written with utmost honesty and simplicity. “ Service can have no meaning unless one takes pleasure in it. When it is done for show or for fear of public opinion, it stunts the man and crushes his spirit. Service which is rendered without joy helps neither the servant nor the served.” - The story of my experiments with the truth.

I think people need to start learning the joy of giving and forgiving. Just small, random acts of kindness can go a long way. Plus people should learn to look beyond money, I mean money can bring you great joy, true but there is always much more to it. I see all these institutions and organisations who say they're working for a 'good cause' when they're only trying to fulfil their selfish motives and I don't mean all institutions are like that, i'm sure there are a few who actually want to make a difference but as far as I have seen, I find it hard to agree upon it. But those changes are changes in human behaviour and that can only happen when a person wants to, when he's conscious, when he understands who he truly is and that his ultimate life purpose is to give his contribution in making this world a better place. God created the trees, the mountain and the rivers, and I mean everything and then he created human with the hope that it will take care of his creation but I doubt we're really doing our duty. I think we need to make more and more people aware about the situation. Instead of finding ways to find life on Mars, I guess we need to find ways to make lives better on the Earth first. Plus quality education and health care facilities are something which we really need to work on. And I think education should not be limited to teaching F=ma, rather it should be more about LIVING life and not just degree or job oriented. We call that EXISTING. Health and education are the most basic ones which have the power to make or break the world but it's sad that in today's world, these are like THE most expensive facilities. Population. I recently read in my economics textbook that a million population is added in every 4 days. No kidding. More people means more workers is the thinking of the poor but it actually means more people without any work. The poor forms the majority so I guess they're the ones who really need this awareness. Because our resources are very limited. Instead of only thinking about how we can make OUR lives better, we need to start working on uplifting the underprivileged. "A life not lived for others is not a life." -Mother Teresa

I want to buy this course so badly but I can't. But thanks to you my friend @Dante for this post. Like I see all these people who've gained so much from the course and it's just motivating me to save more so that I can get this course, so thank you.

Not caring about people and their opinions on me Accepting people the way they are because that makes it a lot easier for you to deal with them. Not arguing with a neurotic person or someone who doesn't want to change cuz there are people who can change cuz they want to, and then come these special ones who're happy the way they are because they've accepted the lie that they cannot change. I feel bad for these people cuz I feel they're missing so much in life but when you try to help them, it doesn't really have an effect on them plus you end up ruining your mood. Writing down all my tasks even if it's as simple as watering plants Planning. I like to invest a huge time in planning stuff cuz first of all it's fun, it like fills you up with energy and is kinda excites you. Second it make things a LOT easier, like really easy cuz you have your things organised then. Cold showers Evening walk Watching Leo's videos, the best decision ever. I guess everyone would agree with me on this one

@Lory I can totally understand this television mess because trust me, there was a time when it was literally my first love. I used to watch television for like 6-8 hours a day back then. I've reduced it to now half an hour a day and I'm aiming to completely remove it from my life. The best thing I can suggest you is to not cut it off completely, like all at once because that's not possible, trust me. It's just going to use your entire willpower and will make matters worse. If you're obsessed with some kind of show, just stick to it. Don't completely erase television but stick to some particular shows. Fix a time and stick to it. Plus try to avoid being in the room if someone else is watching the TV cuz you never know what might catch your attention. Plus find a habit to replace television because if you don't have one, your mind will just force you to go back to watching TV so keep that in mind. It can be something as simple as enjoying tea with family or simply a walk outside. Stay motivated

gosh I never knew that you have a different zodiac when it comes to your sun and a different one when moon. Am I the only one here who has no idea about stuff like that? Plus when you start to check the characteristics, you see a hundred qualities so you're definitely bound to possess a few, at least that is what I feel Aries btw. That's the only one I know

Hey there. Need a little help here. When it comes to personal development, you have to make changes and alteration in so many field of yours. You have to invest and not really care about the results. True. But the problem is, where do you start from? I mean for me, I have to work on myself and that includes working on my diet, my fitness, my morning routine, my addictions (huge one), discipline, MEDITATION, and the list is endless. The problem is where do I start from? Should I start working on studying harder or should I work on my meditation or fitness or my habits, what? Because everything seems equally important to me. I've tried working on one thing at a time but when i'm doing that, my mind play all these games and forces me to look after other stuff and then i get involved into that, and eventually lose the track of the first one. I have done my planning, my goal setting and my Big picture is clear in my head. The real problem is to begin, with what and how? And because everything, on its core level is interconnected, it makes stuff even more confusing.

@MIA.RIVEL I know humans suck at multitasking. I guess its in our blood to do stuff we know is not good for us. You're right. Shut off the distractions and do your work. Will work on it. P.S. I too hate going to the gym so I just walk as much as I can @gian thank you so much for the example. Its very helpful. @Donald EXACTLY!! This is what is happening to me. I AM overwhelmed with all this stuff but the possibilities truly excites me. I mean the feeling you get when you know you can do so much is just WOW. And yes, I know the power of meditation and reading. Work in progress. Thank you all.

I just realised that one thing which is common in all those who're engaged in personal development is that everyone is aiming for making this world a better place in some way or the other. I guess that is the most beautiful part about personal development. You're not just helping yourself but unconsciously you're developing the vision to help others with their personal development as well. That is what this forum is all about after all. So this is exactly what I would do and lets say, this is exactly what I AM going to do. Help others with their personal development and self mastery so that they could know the true definition of a fulfilling life and could give THEIR contribution in making this world a better place. Apart from that, I'd love to join politics and serve people. It's one of the greatest power you can have to impact others lives. I want to prove that its not a bad word. I know it can get ugly but you have to step in the dirt in order to clean the dirt. Plus I would love to study nature and human behaviour deeply.

@Jay Brown you just made me feel a lot better because it feels so good to know that there is someone who can think like you. Yes I too like to be the best in whatever I'm doing. I know it's my ego talking and it's not a really healthy drive but I still like it. Good luck to you as well.

@Dhana Choko yes I've started working on my meditation. I guess my mind just wanted confirmation from someone. @Isle of View that is exactly what I'm trying to tell myself most of the time that I'm not doing bad but it's as if my mind is not willing to accept it. And yes, I do listen to my heart because that little voice you're talking about is all I have. Thank you all.

@Sigma I totally agree with the fact that living life is a new concept for me ( I was just existing for all this while ) and i'll be very honest, I love this more than anything else. And I know its homeostasis that always kicks in. I did start with meditation and my study ethic but the problem is that I feel that if I don't work on my morning routine I won't be able to keep up with my meditation and if I don't work on my addictions and my eating habits then that would drain all my energy and I won't be able to work on my academics. At the end, its all interconnected. @WickedIrish oh I am a student. And I know grades are very important so yea i'm pretty much working on it. About mindfulness, i'm at times not able to keep up with it. Thinking of getting those hand bands to remind me every time I forget @100rockets that is the problem. All the areas seem equally important to me and I know that meditation is probably THE most important thing (at least that is what I think) and yea, one of the most effective as well. Work in progress.

@Leo Gura so leo, you think porn is healthy?

I highly recommend you to try meditation. Just 10 minutes a day but you need to make sure that you don't come up with any excuse for not doing your meditation. And I mean ANY excuse because meditation helps greatly in building focus. Plus have a habit of making a to-do list and stick to it.

I guess in the kind of society we live, grades are given a huge importance and that is where the problem lies. I know its not easy to not care about grades and marks but once you really stop caring about them, i mean i don't want you to stop caring about your grades COMPLETELY but once you stop giving much importance to the so-called status and praise you might get if you score good, you can actually start to enjoy whatever you are learning. You can invest your proper time and energy then. This requires patience cuz you might feel that you're going nowhere and that you can just simply go for cramming and ace that test but cramming is total shit because if you're on the path of self mastery, one thing you need to know is that you need to invest a lot of your time in learning and gaining knowledge and I'm sure you know what cramming is. It involves no learning, no knowledge so try to avoid it And Try to develop your interest in whatever you're learning because if you enjoy something, you learn it quickly and also very effectively. And don't worry, you can be interested in literally anything and everything if you want and like you asked about a student's vision, i guess you should try to learn more about yourself, about what really interests you. What drives you, what is the REAL thing you want to do. Invest, invest and invest. Don't care about the results now. If you know you're on the right path and you decide to stay on that path, you will eventually make progress.

I know how that feels. Well first of all, its a good thing that you've realised that you've got a problem. Now what you can do is, you can make a list of all the things you can do with that time, i mean instead of wasting your time on facebook, just think of all the good stuff you can be doing, and it can include some really important stuff or even the not-so-important things. It can be anything from cooking to cleaning your room or even doing your laundry. Literally anything. Cooking is something which i personally enjoy a lot, its quite fun so i recommend you to try it, like pick out the recipe of your favourite dish and just try it, that might help you. You can even learn a new language or anything which you are genuinely interested in. Another thing you can do is simply deactivate your account because once you deactivate it, you'll have this thing in the mind that you can't get any notifications or messages, so now you cannot come up with the excuse of checking any messages or notifications. Plus when you realise that you're having an urge to check your facebook, immediately try to distract yourself. Try to find out what exactly it is that you find attractive about facebook, for example, if its checking the post of a certain page, unlike the page. Plus there are various apps and sites which you can use to block sites so that might help you. Be patient and stay motivated.

Probably one of my favourite questions to ask people. Life has taught me that humans are THE most beautiful creation and that we have the power to do anything and everything. It has taught me that life is beautiful, even the not-so-good times, its okay to have them. They'll wake you up to the good things you weren't paying attention to. i would love to know what you have learned from life.
