  1. Trump probably wants allies for selfish purposes
  2. Maybe try and find a way to make it fun and/or build up gradually?
  3. @Leo Gura It is a shame that Race-IQ is such a "bastardized" topic / area of research. If honest, open minded, responsible research on the matter would be done - and the results couldn't be used politically/egoically (which they would and already are) it would be fascinating to see what types of intelligence and brain structures are different between groups of people and how/why those differences have come about and what possible purposes those potential differences would be.
  4. I'm sitting in a studio, outside of which is an underground garage - they are separated with a heavy door though. There has been a lot of dust collecting (probably since years before I even entered the studio) on top of some of the furniture. Are these ways you can get poisoned from heavy metals? What would be some good ways to measure and provent possible heavy metals in the air of my studio from the dust and/or from the garage outside? I'm thinking of getting an automatic air-cleaner. Anybody got some good resources or suggestions?
  5. @Applegarden This shit is fcking amazing.
  6. @Leo Gura Wait is Vaping in general worse than smoking cigarettes?
  7. Hey, a question to you @Leo Gura. How has breakups been for you throughout life, from the perspective that you (from what you have said/written) don't keep a social circle? How do you ventilate the emotions?
  8. @Leo Gura Ok but my main question really is how do you go about going through breakups?
  9. Any thoughts ladies? I would like to get a really honest point of view.
  10. Just a bit of armchair philosophy here. More and less is an interesting duality. Like many constructs there is nothing to ground it in. Objectively speaking, what determines if something is more or less than something else - I mean how would you even define it on a fundamental level?
  11. @Eldra I mean when comparing two different aspects of reality, where one seems clearly bigger, vaster or "more" than the other, there is really nothing absolute to ground "moreness" in. You could use centimeters or kilos to measure which seemingly has more but those are just constructions, concepts and stories about measuring a thing. Basically What strike me is that something being more than something else may not be very fundamental. I guess all of reality and notions of it break down When you look closely lol.
  12. What a great way to define nerdiness, living out your "appreciation of information". I'm a bit nerdy about space, theoretical physics, quantum mechanics, oh and the recent UFO research/releases. Because in my opinion it touches on the deepest questions of humanity, and can potentially tell us about how reality is built on a fundamental level - and also the fascination of the mysteries hidden in those domains. Sometimes it makes me feel inspired and less self centered, thinking about and being inspired by the deepest questions make you realize how petty many of your every day problems really are.
  13. This kind of dogma, blind trust in authority/conservatism pervades all fields. I am feeling this a lot in my own field as well. IMO you have to build a strategic plan for how you will go about becomming 100% truthful and authentic in your views, and communicating them accordingly, you have no choice in the long run. Have fun:)
  14. @sat2493 I almost only watch news when I can't sleep and want to dull my mind out lol. Generally I feel like it is pretty easy to keep up to date on what is going on around the world. I try to determine if the source seem trust-worthy just by intuition, if I start to doubt their credibility I just try to find different perspectives on the same news
  15. How do you think that would make him look?
  16. I wrote a very long bucket list years ago and it didn't really help me realize my life purpose. It can help you find out your top 10 values though, and get to know what you really want out of life, and what motivates you. Maybe use your bucket list to find out what you deeply value.
  17. I have the same problem to an extent, used to have it more. If I'm enterpreting you correctly, try self loving visualizations/affirmations - loving yourself as you are right now, and then generally just being in more fun social situations. Also the more direction you have life purpose wise, the better.
  18. Interesting question. Do you not trust news media such as CNN?
  19. Interesting ideas in the post, why tag?
  20. The stuff that helped me most turning my passion into money is: Getting good rest is key. Having a habit of working on it a set number of hours every day will somewhat eliminate the need to be motivated (you will always have stuff to work on). Maybe check out 'The War of Art' - a masterpiece...
  21. In general, the fewer habits you work on at a time, and the longer you take to really establish them - the quicker your progress.
  22. I'm trying to make definitions for my top 10 values (takes god damn forever). Originally I made two different values called "Deep Truth" and "Knowledge/Learning/Understanding". Deep Truth would be something like my yearning to understand how reality works deeply - how it was made, where it comes from and such. Knowledge/Learning/Understanding more relates to my general curiosity for things - learning how things are interconnected, understanding the world Broadly rather than Deeply. After fleshing out Knowledge/Learning/Understanding I got: "Understanding the structure of reality as deeply and holistically I am capable of by investigating, contemplating and exploring it" That contains both different values in one, but they feel like different things. Is it beneficial or not to combine two different things to one and the same value?
  23. Cool stuff. Have you gained any "real value" from em or just for fun?
  24. Great tip. Especially useful for countering jealousy and fomo IMO. Happy new year.
  25. @Gesundheit What exactly do you mean with 'Practicality'?
