Hey there! look, I am on the "you'll do fine" team, in fact, although MDMA is said to be neurotoxic, crafted chemical and yada yada, I simply don't buy it, there are at much a handful of deaths at year from it f, most likely less than by choking in a glass of water, the ones who got a a problem most likely have been reckless rebound what you can imagine. Hundreds of thousands take it mindlessly every weekend and they are a ok, and so will you. Aws I tell people, your body is much, much stronger and resistant than what you will give it credit for (which is a good thing) Now, with my deepest respect and if I am wrong I am sorry; I notice in your post a tendency think and worry beyond what is helpful for you, am I right? in hypnotherapy there is something called the chronic pain loop, your person is overly vigilant of their physiology, and any sensation might be the first symptom of the problem they anticipate which creates tension, so the mind locks in because it must be important and there you go. if you got an overly self protective and active mind makes it loop faster. Concussion, practice a total detachment and disregard about whether you die or not, or if it made a bubble in your brain or not, go on with your day and don't put any effort on reasoning the cause of any sensation in your body, don't bother, let go, if you where right to worry, you'll go with a smile anyway. This is the mental process I go about when I notice my mind on the mood of warring for this kind of thing. Truth being said, who told you that the headache next day was in anyway related with your experience? Have you never simply got a randoms headache without having taken chemicals the day before? Yeah, most of them, and you dint freak out, so let go, its all in your mind as I expect you to know very well. NOTE; I once took mdma and in the mid of the trip a hit of dmt and I kid you not that the visuals where like 3X slower motion, never experienced any trip like it. And of personal experience, although this is nothing I would reccommend anyone do, you can also do DMT on amphetamines, cocain, acid, you name it. each substance gives a drastically different tone to the experience, there is no good and evil substance nor a moment or space is more holy than any other because there is only one moment, one place and all those distinctions are your uncontrollable mind. I would really like one of those pens though be safe and let go

Your score is 14, out of 40 I really thought I would score more and was a bit conscerned when looking at the results. in the other hand, I could take a look to my lack of vanity, Not giving a shit how do I look and what do I wear is not good.

Primary psychopathy 1.2: higher than 5.51% of people who have taken this test. Secondary psychopathy 2.7: higher than 58.86% of people who have taken this test. I do relate, this might be why I feel so comfortable with black metal

I struggled with this myself untill I noticed that I was more trying to find reasons not to begin such as buying into the Idea of "I dont know how to do it". My coaching mentor told me "If you want to learn to do something, do it 100 times" That is, make 100 videos, put them out there, you will improve effortlessly. If you are passionated about the topic, that will catch people's attention since passion is what creates an audience. I hope it helps.

When I was a child, I dreamed with a point in time in which science and spiritualism will touch hands. Current science is far away from it, but within it, there are off-shoots like this one. Put 30 minutes of your highest quality attention into this video, and you'll might just end up believing on alien elves.

As I saw the title of this thread, this scene came to mind, from the Matrix, Smith's interrogation speech:

I am pretty sure this will blow many of your minds out! Before I say anything, reading the "course cover" will give you a great idea of the course tone: For the ones that want to get right into it, here is the link: Here are the units, (this is what you will learn): 1. Introduction to cellular neurobiology. 2. Introduction to information. 3. Introduction to world-building by the brain. 4. Tuning into the world. 5. Receptors and their signalling pathways. 6. Introduction to the classic psychedelics and their pharmacological activity. 7. How psychedelics work in the brain. 8. DMT as a 100% reality channel switch ################################################## Personal notes: WOW! The way in which this man explains the inner mechanics of our brain like nothing else I've seen before! Don't let the titles of the units make you think that is going to be another boring and pointless lecture of scientific jargon by an individual who is unaware of how his own ego tricks him into framing his words with a "I am smarter than thou" aura. From the first video you will understand that this is a hardcore Psychonaut, sharing his knowledge to the world as a gift, to you. Thanks to going through the first 4 units I've got such a beautiful picture of how the brain works and mind continuously creates the model which we call reality in real time. To wrap my mind around this has been so meaningful. This course will help you understand how a neuron creates a spike, which might be no news, but goes on to helping you conceive how that meaningless spike becomes the model that you experience as the outside world. More even, for the ones here interested on mysticism there is a lot of juice in here. Specially in the form of implicit knowledge, (not what he says but the things that what he is saying imply) this course is an amazing source of insights such as why human cognition is dualistic and hierarchical, how reality distorts itself to meet our survival needs, and let's say it, what God is. If you are a student of your direct experience and want to get a meta-meta perspective, this will wow you in ways I fail to express. There are many golden nuggets, like why from a neuroscientific point of view the dream world and the woke world are literally the same. How all experience is 100% internal. I hope you like it and if you do, share in this thread your insights, opinions, notes etc... here are a couple of links: Course page: http://www.buildingalienworlds.com/course.html Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/psychedelicmastercourse/ That is it guys! I hope you like it!

Hi everyone, I am starting a youtube series about Self-Inquiry with a program called Obsidian.md in it I will be streaming live and guiding the viewer through the process of asking, answering, and unveiling the deepest secrets of our psychology. is worth mentioning that I won't be doing the spiritual version but the self-development one, What are my values? what are my motivations? what do those motivations have behind them? I am doing this series because I always tell my clients to do that because I have the deep belief that everyone has a lot of wisdom within. I am also a believer that if you want to do spirituality seriously, you have to get your psychology in order first. I am making this thread in order to collect your afterthoughts on the episodes, what you think is good and what needs improvement, together with any suggestions or even to hear from you how much this practice help you. this will be done each week, every session with a different topic and there will be timers during the streaming, to give everyone the chance to write and follow along, this is to help people take action and answer questions as they surface. I also post this in this forum because I know that some of you will be interested in developing yourself more than I do it for self-promotion, I hope I don't infringe any rules by doing so. this is the link of this episode: https://youtu.be/X0IU8ayJWqM the stream starts soon, so I see you there, - Carlos Miquel Koivula

Hi everyone! I recently took upon myself to do whatever it takes to get my chaotic mind under "control", control not as in domination, but as an organizational framework that can take the stream and channel it in a useful way. I've found out that there are systems that are very mind-ergonomic (to me), and others that require a hell of an effort to keep smooth and running and are prone to collapse at any slip. For example, I find Mindmaps very chaotic, while nested lists are more mind ergonomic (to me). I find mind maps chaotic, because I tend to find connections between absolutely everything, and then I begin questioning the nature of the connections and whether the categories begin having not very intuitive sense, and then... a mess. the same goes for boards, I get lost on how to organize the board itself. then we go to the nested lists, they are good, but then I simply end up making a mess due to not fully managing to stick to categories... let's put an example: I get a philosophic idea->" write it down, where? under philosophy? I can use it in business? under video topics? hold on, might be a part of the book? my journal? In the to do? maybe make a mind map instead? Nah, won't be enough. I just write it under journal then." So I do, and then I forget because there is no way I will find it. I liked the GTD method until I found I was having problems, again categorizing things and also that is meant for things that are supposed to be "Done", but where do I put the Spiritual insights? and Ideas for machine learning? And what about this idea for this machine that does this and that? hold on, remember to check how patents work, oh, learn Fusion360, but not before I get the book more advanced, will help many people, shit! I should be promoting my business! So, I consider myself quite yellow in the SD model, most of the things I conceive in my mind are about systems, or about the mechanics of things, the human mind, reality, society... I'm also an artist, like science, would love to get much deeper into it, I'm starting a business because I'm good at helping people get over child trauma with coaching and hypnotherapy, love to explore the limits of the human condition, the mechanics of evil, hate, love, physics, economics... (Please, notice that I am deliberately letting the text become chaotic because I want to express the nature of the stream of my mind, in hope that someone of you would identify with it and would share in this post your system to organize your mind) so If you feel like helping, here are my questions to you: So, what is your system? What habits support that system? How do you find it useful to organize your ideas? categories, which ones? Tags? Do you "sacrifice" something in the name of structure and organization? So that's it, thanks to all of you who share your ways, I really appreciate it :)

I kid you not, this book was recommended to me 3 times yesterday alone, I also started to look into software such as Obsidian to integrate this framework. I totally will get into it.!

I did not mention about negative thoughts, more about how to structure knowledge, ideas, and insights. In a sidenote... Although "its working" for you, this seems a low standard of working. in other words, screaming in your head NO won't solve the problem of that coming to mind in the first place. I would say that if after 15 years of using a technique, you still have to stop thoughts of shame and negativity, the process must have room for improvement. personally, I approach to this as follows: bad though coming in -> Where does this come from? What is the actual purpose of this thought? Is there a logical reason to have this thought? what does this remind me of? Answers to these questions are things like "something went wrong in the past which is similar to Now", "is a protection mechanism", "Im tired" "this happened to me and I learned to act this way" etc pop to mind, DEAL WITH IT! this way, that thought loses energy, and unravel your psychology. to say "NO" to thought is like negating a part of yourself, the part of yourself that put it there. Is resistance, unwillingness to understand what are you about. in simpler words, ignoring a problem does not solve it. I got too hunged on this answer, I'm passionate about this kind of topic and help people with this sort of thing hehe I hope it helps.

Definitely ok, if you feel so. again, you wrote a message in a forum asking about it, might mean you are not half as sure you could be, in case then wait or else, by all means! no chance is gonna hurt you (as \far as you are not already in some pain)

What is mbbs, IBS? Long shot but, might all this be some underlying untreated emotional thing that you are not putting attention to? is there anything that you are not willing to look into? there is LOTS of people that literally emotionally distress get transformed into physical illness and it tends also to follow this same premise, "doctors try everything, I try everything, nothing works". hypnosis can be your friend when it comes to auto-immune/ esoteric illnesses. untreated emotions, the same way you feel fear in the stomach (for example), something might scare you enough and for long enough that being scared was the norm, not even remembering what for, then after years of that, the tissues begin to suffer from the permanent tensions.... just my five cents. Anyway, anything that comes to mind as you contemplate the possibility of some emotional, seemingly unrelated, and definitely unresolved thing being the underlying cause of this? maybe you could journal a bit on that?

you mean new page? @Nahm

As I was cleaning the dishes, my mind created a vision, a way to explain things to myself, that I believe, given what I've been reading here today, be of service to many who like me, struggle to define themselves about the nature of Love. It starts with a question: What does darkness, hatred, vacuum, cold, and Evil have in common? They are all the names we give to the lack of something, yet are not things themselves. Cold is the lack of energy, of atoms vibrating, the vibration of those attoms generates heat you see, cold is not "generated," therefore, there is such thing as Absolute cold (absolute 0). In the same way, darkness is the lack of photons, nothing generates darkness, and therefore darkness is also absolute; there is a top as to how dark something can get. Vacuum goes without saying to be the lack of gas in a volume. Then Evil and hatred? Think about it; they are lack of Lovemore in particular, lack of Love and consciousness within the human experience. A cat has no love for a bird, and such a state turns into vice, premeditated and uncompassionate murder. Also, one of my cats, for example, wants to play with another that actively dislikes him, and this turns into hisses and growlings of hatred as a response. Male cat ins unaware, unconscious of what his need for playing does to my female cat, annoying the crap out of her. So, when it comes to cats, we don't call those things "evil, or hatred," but if you anthropomorphized those situations, we would be using those terms. We are not that different. Our corruption is lack of awareness. Evil, lack of Love. There is absolute Evil; there is absolute cold, absolute darkness, absolute vacuum. There is infinite light, infinite pressure, infinite energy, infinite Love. Tell me what you think, my mind creates constructs like this to explain things to myself. do you agree? disagree? does it helpt you? I'm curious to know

Love where is going! could you elaborate on "capture all notes categorically" ? Do categories simply appear well defined in your mind intuitively and don't re-consider them? How do you keep oneNote organized? more closely, what is for you a book, tab and page, and how much you commit to each page? sorry but those kind of thing is where I actually struggle. do you go over your notes and clean things up? thanks in advance
-
wow, that is impressive, can you develop a bit? Do you imagine actuall cubes? and they are there afterward? how do you categorize things? You sparked my curiosity, I love to get to hear how other people minds work under the surface
-
That would be awesome to be honest because I have the inner conviction that I would be able to approach much more complexity if I would be able to find a framework/structure/step-by-step method to don't drown myself on my chaos haha

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. Any content in special?

I do writing more now, it really is an incredible way to develop topics.

Nope, it isn't. having recorded the rays, or analyzed the burned furniture would be. We gotta also be careful here because usually that type of "want" is based on a materialist paradigm. In other words, there is already profound evidence of transcendence of phenomena from the 5meo world to the 3d world: 5-meo makes you experience something, after that, you change to be a person that has experienced that 5-meo, then, you act, talk and breath as someone that have lived that experience. Also in yet other words, this is a bit related to magical thinking, "proof of supernatural phenomena", that is also very materialistic, kind of failing to see where the actual magic is. the actual "magic" is in your experience, consciousness, reality as is, is absolutely mind-blowing, you cannot even explain how are you understanding this words, you don't even know what You actually are. electric rays out of a person's hands are irrelevant in comparison. And lastly, because this get's confused: All above is not to say that that did not happen, or was not "real", or "disprove" or anything like that. This is much above that, there is not a single thought of doubt that Leo Gura experienced that, neither there is any thought of doubt that I also experienced seeing through my own flesh. It Happened. but that would have not been your experience of things, which does not make it not real, but just not real to you, because of you were in a different state of consciousness., I hope I explain myself... -

Purpose of duality? I Understand it as the operative system that our biology has developed to be able to interact with the world and survive. The illusion is in the contrast between things. All is a useful abstraction developed for you to exist. it could have been something else, but it is not, we understand the world through contrasts, and every contrast is by definition binary. If you put careful attention, there is no real lines between things, there is no actuall wall between you and me, literally, there is a line of atoms from the inside of my skull to yours, the atoms and structures that they make varies, but none of them actually have like that moment in which you end and something else begins, gray-matter, bone, skin, air, soil, air, skin, bone, Your, gray matter. Our psychology is somehow tuned to understand air as "nothing", and wether matter stays compact to define "Thing" once the tail fails from the cat, we got two "objects". but in reality, all of it is a "quantum soup". -
