Unseeking Seeker replied to Knowledge's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Knowledge superb! Why settle for less? ? Ecstatic rapture in renewal, unending! Or in a word, bliss. The entire Sushumna channel throbbing with magnetism! Attainable. By grace. On another thread somewhere here related to Tantric sex, there is a video someone posted on this. Don’t be misled however, even if true! Here it is ... As for knowledge or rather directly imbibed wisdom, considering that mind-body is limited, we need to drop it ... to transcend. Expansion of consciousness is about transcending all limitation. Let’s see if I remember what they are ... limitation of space/location, time, power, knowledge and will. Go for it! -

@Seed well! well! well! Kundalini awakening. Why? To what end? What do we know about it? The more we read, the less we know. Kundalini is, simply stated, the energy path to ascension. Swift. Direct. Powerful. Artificial kundalini awakening techniques are either ineffective or dangerous. Why dangerous? Because our own fears, deluded beliefs and mind-body attachment are the blockages. Without going into the theory, which is both time consuming as well as debatable, simply stated, the kundalini is the kinetic or feminine aspect of our own energy dormant at the base of our spinal column within our energy or pranic body. When aroused, it ascends through nadis or conduits to unite with the potential or male component at the crown of our head. It requires to transit through energy centres or chakras to get there. Sounds like a fairy tale! Anyway, the takeaway is this: when the goal is realising a God-consciousness or our own divinity within, how does it matter which path is taken or which instrument is employed? Whether kundalini ascends or grace descends or of awakening is spontaneous, what about it? Before we embark on any path, our own purity of being is essential. Erasure of fears & desires rooted in attachment to the transient. Or we may say, exiting delusion. Taking it that all said above is not convincing, if artificial methods are used for kundalini awakening prematurely, say by breath or physical techniques such as Khechari mudra or even concentration, know that once the energy rises, it will take the path of least resistance. Thus, if it flows through the solar channel, for example and our own fear blocks any chakra, we may have a kind of nerve burn damage. Therefore, I would strongly advise against such gymnastics. Stay loose. Relax. Let’s not take our identity so seriously. Have fun. Trust in God. Follow the voice of conscience. Become childlike. Be loving, empathetic, joyful, compassionate. There is nothing else we need to do. Just be. In the present moment continuum. Enjoy! -

Chakras are in our energy body. If we are alive, we have them all. They may be dormant however owing to blockages. Fear is the blockage. No point focusing on chakras. They will come into our active awareness automatically. For example, when we see we don’t focus upon the eyes. We simply see. The sensory instrument responds. -

@Someone here ... pain is an experience whilst suffering the amplification of the pain by mind. Once we recognise that our consciousness is eternal and we are merely having an experience as decided by ourself, to spherically understand all aspects of human life, we are no longer enmeshed in fear, being detached. The law of karma determines the type of earth life we experience. If we inflict pain, we get back pain as of our own choosing, to understand that we should be in alignment with love. Since most of us believe the mind-body to be all there is to us, this delusion causes us to suffer since we seek eternal joy within the ephemeral. An impossibility. Once we internalise our attention and prioritise God connectivity, silence & stillness becomes our default orientation. Then, the external happenings do not disturb us. It is a slow process. -

@Someone here ... permanent end to suffering? Well, apart from the extreme example you have chosen like starvation or let us say extreme ill health, bondage as in slavery etc., the sufferer so suffering* (* cyclic pain & pleasure) no longer suffers once he knows himself. In other words, we cease to suffer when our in-form consciousness is in alignment with our eternal singular consciousness or God consciousness. This answer may not satisfy lower mind however. -
@Esoteric Undoubtedly! I have seen many of Christopher Wallis‘s videos and find him knowledgeable. His elaboration of the Gayatri mantra as well as the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra is profound. It also seems clear that he has experienced some level of kundalini awakening like others such as Igor Kufayev, for example. I have however seen many cases of trauma by forcing kundalini awakening through ‘artificial’ yogic techniques. Unless we get to a basic level of purity of being in actual life, in thought & word & deed, the blockages within (fear & negativity), can result in a breakdown. Literally. The energy path is direct and unapologetic. Everyone seems to prefer the quick path. No harm, if undertaken with proper preparation.

Unseeking Seeker replied to Andrey_U's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Andrey_U in my view, the ‘progress’ in meditation in terms of experience happens upon our allowing or in other words, when we abide in awareness without thought, without identity association. Owing to attention oscillation, during our next meditation we tend to anticipate or predict the experience before it occurs, thereby both interfering as well as limiting it. In other words, we must rest memory drawn imagery as well. Furthermore, in terms of energy ... imbibing it is one thing and assimilating it another. It takes time. All being grace, it is best to relax and enjoy the ride! -

In my view, non-duality as a concept is nothing to be fearful about. A concept is just that, a concept. Upon actually realising through expansion of consciousness or awareness in stillness, that all is one ... it becomes a clear recognition. Put another way, ascension is about expansion. Ego or delusion orientation leads to consciousness contraction. So there is nothing to fear per say, about reaching a non dual stage of awareness. Reincarnation and karma entwined is another story. No one judges us, since all is one and Gods energy is love. However, we ourselves choose reincarnation for consciousness correction or we may say alignment of our core, with our own divinity within. -

@sausagehead & @Preety_India ... entity removal is possible by a proficient medium over the telephone itself. However, what about protection of the auric field? Both have to be done. In many cases, it is not an entity but our own fear, which is the problem. in case you are convinced that you need help with this, I can set up a telephonic session (free of cost) with an advanced healer. -

In my view, as long as we believe that we are only the mind-body, fear of death cannot be erased, since we desire to make permanent the impermanent. The recognition that we are the luminous, blissful, self-existent consciousness temporarily encased in form is to be realised, since vicarious knowing does not quieten lower mind. In fact, even upon ‘realisation’, to begin with there is only a flickering awareness of this truth, until gradually we assimilate the knowing within. Each enablement is different. For some it is faster, for others, slower. Here are a few lines on ‘death’. Hope it helps Death Death a frontier An imagined barrier In reality nonexistent Save to shallow ego sentiment Subtle domain veiled by a sieve Our mist essence does not deceive By simple recognition Cessation of mind body association Meaning no fear of death Be it sudden or approaching in stealth Divine Love the fulcrum Of our awareness in the continuum Seamless & resistanceless One with the That Oneness Our the thus ever present orientation Paves way for hidden doors to open Twice born We yet live on Association begetting delusion Miring us in swamps of stagnation Which is in truth living death Captive by choice in the maya net At any instant no sooner we undo Shedding conditioning we renew Our core Blessings of bliss our being does empower Beginningless endless our vaporised self is home Fearless and in resonance with the life pulse of Ohm -

Don’t know about enlightenment but if we look at each micro awakening experience, possibly we may agree that it occurred by grace alone. Our effort in fact, comes in our own way. Once we have a burning yearning to connect with our own divinity within, this prioritisation is itself all we need to do. Lovers do not look at the clock! Nor do they compute outcomes. They are simply joyous to be together. -

The Vijnana Bhairava Tantra has 112 meditations. I would recommend Swami Lakshmanjoo’s book ‘The manual for self realisation’. Free pdf available on archive.org -
Seems authentic. Resistancelessness is indeed a prerequisite, as he says. Of course, we needn’t buy into the 12 year time frame he deems necessary for imbibing & assimilating the energy, more so with Schumann’s resonance rising. Having surrendered, who are we to determine the manner and timing of unfoldment? Rohit Arya speaks of Santosh Sachdeva. She is the author of ‘The kundalini trilogy’. I haven’t read it but I have seen one of her you tube videos. Direct and straightforward. All this is good to know but it is their experience, not ours. We each have to discover for ourselves.

We cannot use thought to go beyond thought. This is something even thought can figure out!

As of my understanding, the word ‘nothing’ employed by Robert Adams, is actually ‘no-thing‘, to describe the absolute underlying reality. Essentially non-duality as in Oneness, even to begin with interconnectedness, cannot be discussed intellectually, since we must cognise expansion of our active consciousness in such a state. Yet, Robert Adams does describe in his book, the heart centre as abode of Self or God consciousness, within

Ah! All being one, not condemnation then but merely consciousness correction. Upon seamless resonation with love without oscillation, we are in alignment.
-
Who condemns who?
-
Free will. Who chooses? On what basis? Is it not merely that upon exhausting ourselves in the external ephemeral, all attempts to seek happiness foiled, we voluntarily turn inwards into the internal eternal. Essentially, owing to veils of maya, we are deluded. The delusion shifts our attention into illusions. Indulgence therein is stagnation. Stagnation a narrow pattern in ego urgings. Wherefrom came the thought, that inspiration along with it brought? Definitely not from limited mind-body. It comes from our conscience, connected to Universal consciousness. What is sin? Is the word ‘sin’ not too harsh, having a ring of condemnation? Perhaps we should say not sin but misalignment ... temporary misalignment ... from the source ... which we too are ... the source being and radiating unconditional love.

Krishnamurthy analysed fear very astutely. Not a type of fear, but fear itself!
-
Or if we wish to simplify, we may say all problems arise from delusion, believing that mind-body is all there is to us and stagnation in ego cravings. Once we recognise that we are not the limited & transient form, all negativity recedes. There will be oscillation, no doubt, owing to flickering awareness. Still, pursuing this realisation, we veer towards a continuum of stillness. There is then no need to separately list each negativity. In any case, neither repression nor sublimation can erase negativity. Our fulcrum must shift, voluntarily.

Watched the video in bits and pieces. Essentially, as I see it, there is nothing wrong per say, with what is being conveyed. It is a Kaula path of Kashmir Shaivism. However, there is a definite risk in this method, requiring specific breath control along with the sexual union, correspondent to chakras in play. As such, being an artificially induced awakening, I’d say stay away ... if still determined, learn it on a one to one basis from a master* (*where are they?) The Vijnana Bhairava Tantra has a view on this too. Here is a translation or interpretation, as of my understanding : Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-45/112 This practice involving copulation seems taboo Whilst all it asks of us to unendingly renew Cessation of action just at the point of fructification Purity of intent choosing instead kundalini ascension Or if the act ends in orgasmic climax of union Breath should be retained within in celebration No exhalation For the puritans the practice asks for cessation Between the urge to act and it’s actual culmination In an aspect meditative Intuitive The pause between cognition and association ... The gap between memory recollection & anticipation ... Disclaimer: Such is the practice in the scriptures so written If it does not resonate we needn’t do as bidden Why on this meditation alone dwell When we can choose from one hundred & twelve And yet if we would know the truth stark We should walk without fear in the dark
