  1. Surprised Leo didn’t point out the conflation. The consciousness referred to by@mamad above is not the same as the consciousness @Leo Gura referred to above. Respectively, the first refers to consciousness as a function where one can be more or less conscious, and the second refers to the absolute. Utterly not in the same ballpark. But being very highly conscious (of the first sort) is on the edge of being both dead and alive and perceptions seem to fluctuate timelessly in the infinitely full empty void without a perceiver or container. Being infinitely conscious means not being conscious at all, and all that’s left is the absolute (consciousness of the second sort).
  2. But it’s all cleared up after enlightenment, which is actually the end of mystical experiences. It will be obvious that there is no brain or awareness. Awareness is just a function of the brain, but the brain is just like anything else — the timeless appearing as time-bound-happening.
  3. ?‍♂️ jk! But, you said “at one point” (presumably, in time). Stuff can appear to happen in time but what the Big Bang really is, is timeless. Of course there will appear to be an apparent beginning — how else would anything appear at all? Imagine if there wasn’t even origination in the story — doesn’t even compute. So of course there will appear to be a real origin if you’re still in the story of time. From the timeless perspective, the Big Bang (everything) is all there is, and it’s the exact same as the Big Crunch (nothing).
  4. The solid concrete wall has no underlying "thing that it is." I wouldn't say that it's nothing outside perception, rather it is nothing and it is a perception. Objects aren't viewed -- they are the view, which is all there is, and not an object. Well there's just no "out there" or "in here" in the first place. Interaction and relationship are appearances but there isn't an outer world to be a part of -- there is just the appearance of the world which is all there is, blindly itself -- timeless/stationary infinity.
  5. @RMQualtrough I don't know about all that, but I will say those questions are all in the story that includes time. What I refer to as the Big Bang being the Big Crunch, or nothing being everything, is utterly timeless; beyond time; meta-to time. This whole thing doesn't actually move -- it's like a solid infinite and timeless block/sphere of empty-alive being. Also sort of like perceptions fluctuating in and as emptiness, timelessly. Nothing is happening, as there's only timeless everything. There's an apparent story of the exploration of this, and the scientists seem to be learning more and more and it's pointing them to the absolute empty fullness. Even in the materialist paradigm, and certainly in the view of most in cosmology and quantum physics, it is believed that there is no "before" the Big Bang since the Big Bang is itself the supposed advent of space and time -- so they can at least somewhat intuit the timelessness of what is, even if they can't yet see that it's totally unconditioned/causeless.
  6. But the covid vaccine doesn't contain mercury...
  7. Contemplation (preferably after meditating your way to deep bright stillness if the mind isn't already sharp and calm) LSD
  8. Yep ? Everyone is at the edge of death timelessly as what is — since consciousness downright refuses to, and cannot, enter it.
  9. Imagine there being nothing — it would have no limit, meaning it could do anything... Yeah, this is the Big Bang right here. But it’s timelessly the Big Crunch as well... and they are effectively the same. Empty fullness. Nothing being everything. With no cause. How could there be a cause if there’s only what is? That cause would just be what is, appearing as a cause. It isn’t any more illogical than anything else, it just has no story to it, so it can’t be confirmed nor denied by the individual. It’s unknowing. If there’s nothing outside of everything, everything is unlimited, meaning it has no limits, meaning it’s well within its (infinite) capabilities to appear as anything, including as a complete universe with a history, but without any need at all, including even the need for that history to have actually taken place. The beginning of every sensation is also its end. That’s the timeless Big Bang being the Big Crunch (which is itself a story). Imagine when the Big Bang happened and when the Big Crunch will happen — it might not be obvious now, but it might suddenly become obvious: they don’t happen when you think they do — they’re all that exists.
  10. Ending the cycle of birth and death simply refers to the end of the experiential center. Nothing really changes. “Me-ing (self-consciousness) & Be-ing (glimpses)” simply collapse into “appearance & appearance,” meaning Me-ing never happens anymore because it never actually did happen — since it was only an appearance, and Me-ing simply refers to the apparent overlooking of the appearance as if it’s actually real (“knowing” it to be real), rather than simply what it is: an appearance; empty-fullness immediately and timelessly already appearing for no one, without inherent purpose or meaning or condition. That’s all. It’s not your “last go” or anything like that. Don’t worry.
  11. Or have you perhaps considered: Enlightenment will simply find (seek) you, no matter what you do, since there is no you ??
  12. Then it wouldn’t be what’s referred to as Consciousness as synonymous with the absolute, by definition. It would merely be “consciousness” as in “the awareness function of body-minds, developed in the story by evolution.” Consciousness of the first sort is perhaps better conceived of simply as “what is.”
  13. There isn’t anything outside-of / separate-from / other-than what is always timelessly already immediately appearing — not something / someone / sometime. This is simply obviously directly apparent. So this is absolutely it (everything). Simply, nobody has ever done anything, nor could anything be done, nor is there anything to be done, nor is there anyone to do it. So its associated seeking energy is truly just simply a fruitless non-starter. This is unconditioned.
  14. A shortcut to “accessing” Infinity is simply to “successfully imagine something impossible.” For example, imagine: the entire universe being one of its own atoms; experiencing multiple undivided consciousnesses at once; expanding and contracting simultaneously; in being out; empty being full; etc.
  15. Yes, post-collapse of unfalsifiable belief-identification structure, psychedelics still boost consciousness. Enlightenment is the un-altered state — tangential to states.
  16. Just be assertive and self respecting and make your boundaries known — forcefully if needed, but without judgement.
  17. Don’t deny anything. Let it all be, full force. And maybe some 5meo
  18. I’m still waiting on that substance Leo has mentioned will be announced eventually, but in the meantime I’ve been experimenting with 5-MeO as a non-seeker. It’s interesting...to say the least. I recommend 5meo if you’re going for ultra high states... It seems to work well for that ? But honestly if it weren’t for the tolerance issue I’d actually say high dose LSD is even more effective. Or just being yourself ??
  19. It’s being yourself without anything in the way. Nothing doing everything. Free from guilt or concepts of not being worthy of this empty-full paradise. Even though it’s obvious nobody has ever done anything, the ego survives by imagining it can do and be aware of things.
  20. Yeah that’s much of what emptiness teachings refer to. But where is the physical world apart from the perception of it? The appearance of materiality is dependent on how and where it is perceived, and where it is perceived from. Its actuality is not separate from its appearance. It’s not even an it. The physical world, materiality, is everything, and not the slightest bit different from This / Consciousness / no-thing.
  21. ? Or: You’re always letting go... However in either case there isn’t actually someone doing it. It’s the letting-go that nobody can do. It’s a totally impersonal play.
  22. Contemplative inquiry can be quite fruitful. Just do what seems to be strengthening the qualities you like and/or weakening the qualities you don’t like — not just leading to that but actually bearing fruit now — with mindfulness and diligence this kind of takes off and the system will auto-pursue what seems to bring it peace in the moment. If doing nothing at all was bringing you everything you wanted, you’d continue doing that; if going all-in on life was bringing you everything, you’d continue doing that. Mindfulness can help with the more subtle activities that bring you joy, so you can start abandoning habits that don’t work, in favor of those that do work for your individual unique character.
  23. Well it sure is one mother lode of spiritual inspiration and love... While nothing is ultimately real, I actually do think Ra is probably real — not just in terms of apparent causal effects on those that read it, but real in this psychic reality in the same way that galaxies, countries, and people are “real.”
