  1. Ah yes! It is a fruitless endeavor after all... Isn't it? We must learn the way of the potato instead.
  2. That’s cheating. Bananas are too easy. Apples or go home.
  3. @Raptorsin7 He has a book called the end of your world and it’s one of the most revealing exposé’s on enlightenment. He certainly ain’t a fraud.
  4. I am almost certain he does have experience with them. I believe he used them after enlightenment though. He’s one of my favorite teachers by far. I’d take was he has to say seriously. This work can be dangerous — not news to anyone.
  5. I respect that. But the orgasm example is a bit off. Actually it’s a bit more like caring about the truth of the matter rather than the comfort of belief systems. It was a lot of fun for me. It easily could have been horrifying though.
  6. First of all, you’re lucky I read this. It’s your first post. I’m one of the maybe 5-10 “enlightened people” here. You sound like you maybe have had what society calls a psychotic break. Who the hell knows what that even means, even if they think they do... but fuck, you’re massively in stories, even if you do remind me of my earlier self. That shit literally didn’t even actually happen. Nothing is happening still. There isn’t anyone doing something. It’s all ideas. The experience itself is actually illusory. So there’s nothing to do? Oh no, enlightenment requires desire like nothing else.
  7. This is a rather awesome post, but fraught with what we call ego. I am sometimes hurt. There’s literally no suffering. Even when there is hurt, suffering is a dream — it’s actually an illusion.
  8. Well then, believe it or not, you simply won’t get enlightened. I am enlightened (paraphrased for this particular engagement). Enlightenment requires desire likely beyond your comprehension. In the meantime, watch Leo’s newest video on his main channel. Idk how others see it, but believe me, it’s the deepest one yet (yes, deeper than the god realization video) — unless you somehow understand it all already, in which case, do some meditation because you’ll be enlightened soon if only you have a burning desire for it.
  9. Certainly, but your idea of health is relative, and enlightenment is absolute. Not saying I know anything about this particular guy with glasses, but glasses don't mean shit. Tons of enlightened folk wore glasses, including Ramana Maharshi. I have perfect vision so I'm not defending anything. Get real.
  10. While I don't assume meat to be unhealthy, she isn't necessarily being irrational. It's perfectly conceivable that vaping has no negative health effects. If you disagree, that's to be expected, but you don't know enough about the subject, because it you did, you'd know it's totally inconclusive whether some vapes are harmful. The liquid they use is also the delivery method for patients who need to vape their COPD medication, etc. And nicotine doesn't necessarily have negative effects. Nicotine isn't even the primary addictive component of cigarettes -- something hardly anyone is aware of, including doctors. I don't vape, so this is not meant to be defensive in that way.
  11. What? Though this can basically happen, it doesn't mean one can't choose bad vision. Having perfect everything means not excelling at anything in particular. Maybe that's not the way infinity works. Awakening denies nothing.
  12. You mean whose frameworks and guidance did he use? Not only Daniel Ingram. I followed him just enough to know. He used Kenneth Folk, Michael Taft, Rob Burbea, Bentinho Massaro, Rupert Spira, Jim Newman, probably Leo somewhat actually, and probably many others.
  13. They said their bladder feels the usage. I haven't done it that much but used to do probably 0.5-2.0g inside of a week once or twice a year. One time after one of these weeks, my bladder hurt like crazy for a couple days -- the worst type of pain too. I've been wary of it for a while now. It's as powerful as most psychedelics. Totally different though. Can be very revealing and shocking. It's less describable than LSD, etc, but it can reveal the unconditioned nature of the appearance, and the absence of reality being in a certain way.
  14. ^^ So you want enlightenment? Time between “bad” states — e.g. (it’s arbitrary, but perhaps) anger — arising, and its recognition+release, gets less and less until eventually it’s realized that “further” is not required or meaningful. Then the arising and its release are 1:1... But not because the lag time decreased further... What this means is “bad” never actually becomes something that arose anymore — anger is no longer labeled “bad/wrong;" no longer labelled as "something unworthy of not needing to be released." And in a funny way, in the same way, a so-called next- step/process is no longer labelled as “something that must be done” / “good for me.”
  15. Or just whatever comes up during the experience / as long as there is experience of anything. Your list of 3 looks good too, especially 3. I don’t know, try all kinds of things, but probably self inquiry or altering the lens with which experience is viewed. And notice how each view alters the experience — like you described with 3 — view it as not me/mine; momentary; inconstant; unsatisfactory; undeniable, spontaneous; uncontrollable; unconditioned. View it as void of having any reality beyond its mere appearance. Or question whether it has any reality beyond it’s mere/absolute appearance. If any answer (for any of your inquiries) or anything at all is known, inquire how or if you’re convinced that you know that. Etc. Yeah that’s just an intuition for what could perhaps be fruitful.
  16. Inquire into who it is that is curious / who or what is aware of the weirdness
  17. Dude this is major disinformation. See my threads on chelation if interested in that stuff.
  18. It's probably not too bad physically, but as a habit it can certainly hide the purity of the seeking impulse (your clearest truth).
  19. What's wrong with what @iboughtleosbooklist said? This is a drama. Of course it's just metaphorical but it points to a rather salient aspect of the story.
  20. ^^ All the above responses are flawless. They're all gold. @jdharvey6 You've got the answers!
  21. I'm not necessarily on Leo's side here but there is a point where even close-mindedness can be seen as inseparable from the co-creating of reality. Also, there's a point where any further doubt, belief, or deliberation is completely unnecessary -- maybe you were already knowingly operating with that principle.
