  1. There's only nothing appearing to happen. What is not, appears to be. The answer is that there is no answer. There's no answer to everything, because there's nothing outside of everything to answer it or grasp it.
  2. Maybe. But strictly not taking any at all drugs out of principle to me sounds like a bit of a hang up.
  3. It is true though. The apparent you necessarily does not want enlightenment. That’s its whole game. It’s not substantive though, it’s an added on piece of software that keeps things seeming separate and real, and logical and knowable and not-chaotic. So if it indeed seems to appear, that’s what’s longed for. If it’s not what’s longed for, the seeking energy can sputter out in hopelessness, but there’s absolutely no need for that to happen, and no way to bring it about, because all that’s left is nothing being everything, which is already the case. The terrible, great news is that the seeker/ego/doer is utterly impotent. It has never done anything. It's thinner than thin. It merely appropriates what happens as its own, which is not only a false claim, but it also it hides the fact that what happens is only appearing to happen, for no one.
  4. If awakening is the falling away of the separate individual or rather the recognition that it never was real, how can the separate individual ever awaken? There never was one. It's an appearance. And it will never be known when it falls away, first of all because it's already not real, but when its nature is seen, there's obviously no one left to know whether they're awake or not. I can only imagine y'all must assume awakening is knowable, in which case you're talking about something entirely different, such as a state in which an apparent one is untouched by what arises -- that state can apparently arise, but it's not the liberation often referred to, because that's already all there is.
  5. Sounds great! There's no such thing as enlightenment anyway. If it seems like you are enlightened, that is perhaps a state of transcendence, or an understanding of the emptiness of phenomena, or perhaps the reverberations of a glimpse which is now being seen as important or valuable. There's nothing wrong or right with that, it's simply what's appearing. All there is, is nothing (illogical boundlessness) appearing to happen. Whatever appears is simply boundless energy in that form. There isn't any meaning or purpose (limit) to anything at all. When so called liberation occurs, one thing that is obvious is that it's the end of mystical experiences, because there's nothing actually happening. This is pure emptiness appearing as circumstances, which the apparent separate person appropriates as theirs/real.
  6. At the same time, it just plays out as it does. And there's no way to get it wrong. Because all there is, is wholeness, and while nothing can be done, nothing needs to be done, as there's no one to do it anyway, and this totality is completely without meaning or purpose of any kind.
  7. Choline being turned into trimethylamine-N oxide (TMAO) in the gut & liver could be the theory? I believe that is actually what it was.
  8. From my research there can be issues with more than 2 eggs a day over the long term. It wasn't just the cholesterol though, it was the choline or something but I can't remember exactly. However if you eat 4-5 eggs at a time but only did so 2-3x a week, or nearly daily but only for short periods (a couple weeks), there would probably be no negative effects.
  9. The forum is a timeless appearance of this boundless energy which is as empty as it is full, and without constraint. There's only the timeless, complete (and completely empty) appearance.
  10. Neo Advaita -- enlightenment teaching -- Mooji, Akilesh (Sifting to the Truth) and also anyone else who teaches self inquiry. Nonduality -- there is no such thing as nonduality, but the term refers to what is pointed to (the unknowable), via exposing the dilemma of seeking, by the boundless non-communication which speaks to no one and comes directly from unknowing, and it's recognized there is no one separate from wholeness, and there's no intention in the communication -- Tony Parsons, Jim Newman, Kenneth Madden, Andreas Muller, Anna Brown, Mei Long, Ariana Reflects, Lisa Cairns, Tim Cliss, Richard Sylvester. Totally and utterly different.
  11. Yeah that would basically be gaslighting/denial. Hunger is a function the apparent body must deal with. The thing is there's no one separate; no one in the body dealing with it. The body, which is boundless energy in that form, just deals with it. That doesn't help anything either, but it's simply pointing to what is beyond the story.
  12. Sounds awesome! Nothing mattering in the end is far more natural than things mattering. The longing for something just around the corner is actually always the longing for exactly whatever already appears to be. There’s no one on a path. No separate things. Nothing known. What is wanted is what is feared: that anything can happen.
  13. The knowing is and isn’t, and it, like everything else, is not relevant, because it’s what’s happening, and there’s nothing else, so clearly there’s no this either, so nothing is appearing to happen, and that’s nothing being everything. Everything is nothing.
  14. ^^ ? When self sees a thought, it deals with it. When no one is left, the (same exact) thought has no need to be dealt with, and it’s insignificant... it’s just what’s (already) happening — well, appearing to happen... it is and is not. And there’s nothing else, either. So to speak, if it could be done (though it can’t, because there’s no one), the “best” way to keep liberation (what’s already happening...) at bay would be to wait for it to happen. There, not there. Higher and lower are not two — total story of course, but it points to the unexpected. Invitation/suggestion to nothing to feel that already all there is, is boundless perfection without comparison... which is “at the same time” (time is only apparent) utterly ordinary and not an altered state (any personal experience).
  15. Also... There is nothing resembling solipsism in apparent liberation or god realization. In liberation, there is just in-love-ness, for no one, with the unknown, which miraculously appears to be. God realization seems to be a resemblance of a non-state (time evaporates into eternity which has no time) that leads to a state with an immeasurably vast apparent benefit. Liberation on the other hand is not some state that can be attained, and there’s nothing which can be compared with it, since there is literally nothing else.
  16. Kind of, yeah. More like energy appearing as roles, perhaps with the appearance of actors believing they're doing that role, when the role (as well as the appearance of the actor) is just wild ungraspable uncontrollable free uncaused boundless energy (life) expressing as that.
  17. Not logically. It's just an understanding loop that can appear. Nothingness is infinitely bigger than a space or a logical reality in which an I could appropriate as its own.
  18. Unreal finite appearing as infinite. Not even that. It's quite indescribable. Time certainly disappears. All there is, is the Big Bang. Very, very, incredibly high state of consciousness. Absolute infinity stretching timelessly through nothing, apparently. Awareness still identified essentially as everyone (beyond life and death), or all there is, or everything, or boundless emptiness (empty fullness). Sometimes it takes a different character and it's like there's simply no difference between anything, there's only everything, and perception is just absolute infinity in that form, fluctuating in and as nothingness, with no finite controller; only pure God. Separation or awareness in its usual appearance can seem to apparently collapse. And it's a temporary state but it seems to result in another permanent state change. Solipsism is the sense or belief that one (one's awareness) is all that is. There is no one else and I am here now present. Everyone is me. I am alone. God realization (or rather the apparently resulting state change) is a step beyond that: One is everyone. I am not alone. I am God. We are one and (from the view of the "realized super-person") all I can see is God, who I really am. At any time for no reason it can apparently be recognized that there is no God and there never was a me -- and then there's just what's appearing to happen, with no other or cause or meaning or limit. Everything is all there is -- call it whatever; God, freedom, liberation, infinity, nothing, absolute, what is and is not... This, unconditional love, unknowing... Intuitive recognitions -- not worth talking about because they're beyond logical explanation -- can also occur in the background of all that. Pulling the apparent one toward something else beyond itself. Which totally eclipses any paragraph before this one and renders them utterly useless. And that's not to say the intuitive recognitions are more useful -- a paradox. It's just boundlessness appearing as a journey up the dream of consciousness so that boundlessness can have an experience of hoping to find itself, in time, just for the hell of it -- for no reason at all. There is only absolute inconceivable blind (and blinding) freedom.
  19. The body, an appearance of (as; not out-of) boundless energy, not separate from the whole (boundless energy), seeks out positive experiences. In that, there can be the claim I am seeking out positive experiences, while it's the body doing so, therefore I AM (knower) is identified as the body. As teachers often say, you are not the body -- but it's not really that you're not the body... there is no you... there's only perhaps a claim that there is a you; someone present here now.
  20. There is no full enlightenment. Consciousness expansion just goes on and on, until it stops for no reason, and that's when liberation is apparently recognized as already ungraspably being everything -- usually at death of the body but not necessarily, but only apparently... and I'm afraid it doesn't actually happen in time, so it's not approachable, and it's unusable anyway as there's no one left to use it.
  21. Teachers where God realization or profound awakening has apparently occurred, might say: don't take delivery of thoughts, and you will be unaffected. You are God, and you know this but forgot (said with perfect conviction as this was literally seen in a way that transcends knowing). Where liberation apparently is energetically recognized as all there is -- bursting the bubble/filter/awareness of the person and leaving pure-newborn-baby-like unknowing and unfiltered life full-on for nobody -- it might be said: when an apparent one takes delivery of thought, their life will seem to be affected by thoughts, but there is no suggestion to stop this, as there is already no one separate from everything to do so. There's no way for any part of this totality to actually separate and get away from what it longs for, because there aren't really parts in the first place. No connection is possible, because there's no separation. Completely and utterly different. No connection at all. It's all just a story anyway though. I have no clue really. There is no way to speak the truth without paradox, therefore everything said is a story. What is beyond story can only be pointed to.
  22. That can certainly resonate, as it's an apparently elevated state of knowing, but really logic just doesn't apply to what's appearing without limit or cause or other.
  23. ^^ Exactly. Why not? So in that sense the awakening/freedom was never hidden. It's still all there is.
  24. It's utterly amazing that it's just emptiness having a dream that it can't seem to find liberation aka all there is already (emptiness)...
