Used a lot of each. They were my favorite two compounds. 5-MeO-DMT is quite powerful but it really did in my case seem to share a lot of similarity with LSD (LSD-25, not necessarily other analogues). You know how each psychedelic has a very recognizable character? LSD and 5-MeO are similar in that respect — at least to me they were. An ultra high dose of LSD will be more powerful than a super low dose of 5-MeO, obviously, but the far shorter duration of 5-MeO and its relative lack of tolerance accrual make it a decent choice for consciousness work. Both turn up the consciousness dial more than the visual distortion dial, it seems, unlike mushrooms which for me are ultra highly visual. But LSD is still extremely visual in its own right, especially in relation to 5-MeO. Although at some level of ego fading, visual effects don’t really matter. Both compounds are great for ego death and God realization type stuff. -

So to with everything. There’s nothing behind anything. Just absolute emptiness, but in emptiness there is no need for anything (emptiness can’t possibly need anything, including anything to bolster nor limit it), so the emptiness is the fullness. There’s just boundlessness without meaning or cause. -

There's no you for something to be behind. -

Nice insight! You can only do something in the next moment, which doesn't exist -- there is no moment, only now/this. There's only now but it's not a now that can be found, it's all there is. What is not there at all times, is at all times not there, and there is no real time. -

It's not a gain. The awakenings on the apparent path can seem like gains though in the story. Self can only do something in the next moment, which never is -- the illusion can just apparently dissolve for no reason. It can seem like the path leads to enlightenment, but obviously nothing ever leads to all there is already. This only ever leads to that in the story of the person. There's nothing to find -- it's losing all beliefs and thoughts about who and what you are and what you own and know and think... Once nothing is left, nothing is lost; there's only everything, which is not-a-thing appearing to happen. It's also an energetic openness and recognition that there's no one to become enlightened; that enlightenment never happens to me, because there isn't a me in the first place. There's only boundlessness appearing as anything, to no one; without meaning or goal/direction; without limit, boundary, or separation. -

Pointing to it can be attempted: It's separation, ironically via the connection between things which aren't separate to be things in the first place. The owner/ownership; location; witness; doer. There's no self to become no-self. Self will never be not-self, as there is no self. -

'Why' or 'how' implies something personal or intentional to the already completely empty appearance, seemingly confirming that someone could be aware of and in control of what's happening, namely a me, and "I'm a me!" Therefore the dream apparently continues, for the seemingly-always-apparent me -- its constancy is illusory too; it only seems constant because it can't know when it's not there, since me itself is knowing (which automatically contains the apparent experience of real-time and the need to know); it's not appearing at all times and it's certainly not there in deep sleep or anesthesia. While there's absolutely nothing wrong with it (there's only wholeness anyway), all teaching is dream story -- there's nothing to teach. -

The body will be as it is. It won't be your body though. But it already isn't yours; it's the absolute appearing as a body. So It's not an event -- it'll just be recognized (by no one) that there never was any such thing as ownership (of any kind; not even such a thing as "my awareness"). Ownership seems so real to self, but amazingly, it's actually not even happening. -

Spirituality leads nowhere (but it’s nether right nor wrong), because what you’re looking for can’t be known — everything known is automatically known as something, and therefore it seems like there’s something else, and this is not that. What you’re looking for, or really what is looked for by nothing separate, is all there is already. There’s just this highly detailed and only-apparently flawed (flawless) appearance, without real existence, without other, without meaning, and without alternative. -

It’s like losing everything without trying. That’s a story though. Self isn’t constant, but it seems so because when it’s not there it can’t know... so of course it seemingly remains constant. Well, if (apparent) self evaporates completely (and never was) there’s not exactly any one left to notice that. It can never and will never be known that enlightenment happened. It can just suddenly be obvious (to no one, of course) that there never was anyone separate from this in the first place to become this. ? What’s really longed for, can never ever be known, yet it’s all there is already. No real time or distance (or difference or any separation at all) anymore. Living naked in the complete unknown, in the storm with no life jacket, and no need for one. Also what could be described as “no relevance,” essentially. But also a timeless falling in love with what appears — but not a love that’s owned, or even really seen yet it’s quite obviously all there is and has no need for anything including being seen, yet it’s all that’s ever seen, it’s just that it’s not a thing. -
The0Self replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@RMQualtrough There’s literally no separation of any kind at all. But that can’t be known. All there is, is unknowable life appearing. No-thing. -
The0Self replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yeah there is no inside and outside. Nice revelation. -

Sure can’t. And self hate and self esteem are not two, as self x and self y are not two. It is hopeless, utterly. But it is also awesome, utterly. -

Nice mystical experiences! Profound awakenings. “Full enlightenment” is simply the end of those. -

In-love-ness with whatever appears to be, for no one. No-thing apparently happening, without other or meaning or purpose or limit or observer. So it feels like this. You're sitting in it, but it appears that since you're on a journey, it may appear otherwise, as there seems to be something else -- and if that indeed appears to be happening, that's what's longed for. That's liberation. That/this is all there is. -

Yeah that’s a nice technique. -

^^^ They arise together dependent on each other, and since neither could come first (since for one to be, there must already be the other), it is therefore a singular causeless appearance. So there is no real causality, only apparent causality, and therefore only-apparent time and only-apparent everything else, as nothing is actually separate. Everything is not-a-thing and not-a-thing is everything appearing; all there is, with no other, context, or limit. -
The0Self replied to Raptorsin7's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Raptorsin7 Self inquiry. It involves the rather difficult endeavor of ignoring and turning away from every object, by looking for its knower, then when you catch the knower, it’s now an object, and so you turn away from it by looking for its knower. If this is done on and on, for quite a while, with decent meditation skill already developed, it can then result in a rather exhilaratingly high state that many have called Witnessing. Rob Burbea called it the Vastness of Awareness. It’s like experience flips inside out and you’re God looking in at pure subjectivity rather than looking out at objects, and yet paradoxically everything appears the same, but without the context or meaning, and no effect on “you” at all whatsoever. Everything kind of arises out of nothing and fades away simultaneously, but there is still a source separate from what appears — but it can go beyond that to a state where there’s seemingly no source or separation at all, a “nondual state,” which is almost like “detachment via engagement,” or “personal enlightenment.” The person is still present in that, but yeah in the story it can be quite worthwhile to explore it. Witnessing (or probably more likely nirodha —highest possible personal state) is very likely what those monks used when they burned alive in protest and didn’t move a muscle. Witnessing is an extremely detached but still quite functional state, unlike nirodha which is practically anesthesia. But really there is only wholeness. The seeker thinks it’s looking for something, when really it’s looking for everything; all there is already. There’s no way or how to enlightenment. ‘How’ implies something personal or intentional to the already empty appearance, confirming that someone can be aware of and in control of what’s happening... Keeping the dream running, but only appearing that way. Seeking = freedom telling freedom it isn’t free. This and that are never connected, as they aren’t separate. Awareness is the apparent connection between this and that. Self inquiry is an awareness technique — nothing wrong or right with it. I don’t know anything though. This/that is just what appears to be. -

The0Self replied to WokeBloke's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There is, very simply, only wholeness -- that can't be understood, but it can be revealed as (supremely) obvious if awareness/knowing itself apparently collapses. There is no separation -- it's an illusion. -
The0Self replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The apparent self would find itself quite bored with enlightenment (it’s the least boring ever, as there is no knowing, but self needs to know). Therefore, notice boredom, until “you” see that there’s nothing to get, and no one to get it. ? But really, while that does point to the heart of it, if anyone there uses it as an actual practice recommendation, that can only and will only feed the energy that apparently hides liberation. When liberation is seen as always already complete, that never led to this. -
The0Self replied to WokeBloke's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There’s the appearance of them; they aren’t real. Past and future are the same no-thing; not separate. In the story, when self identifies as now (or consciousness), it serves as the attempted connection between past and future (and between every other apparent object), thus illusorily confirming that they were separate in the first place in order for the illusion of possible connection to appear to take place. -
The0Self replied to WokeBloke's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
In the story, of course there’s an apparent process. It’s just boundlessness appearing as a process. It’s not real, as there’s no real time for a process to happen across, only the appearance of which. The appearance is the absolute, which is whatever appears, and is without meaning, separation, knowing, context, or other.
