Non-being, or before birth and after death, relatively, is something that you know must be, and yet is where you know you cannot be. This is the base contradiction which allows all the other contradictions to fly under the radar, as they pale in comparison. In this dream that’s just a structure that presents. Truth is beyond contradiction. But no one really wants truth (unless they don’t want anything else, technically). Again that’s just a structure that presents in the dream — on the scene, so to speak... But it is of course all completely fabricated/imaginary, like anything and everything else. -

What you really are imagines that it’s not God — and the imaginary rationale for this is the apparent fact that I (ego) can’t control everything in the universe... which itself is also of course imagined, by all there is; what you really are. -
Not every day, but generally at least twice a week (most weeks) on the porn + masturbation. Probably 2-3 days in a row, occasionally. Sometimes I forget about it for a week or so if I'm busy but that's rare. Did no-fap for probably 3-4 weeks a few years back. It wasn't a struggle. Did it a few more times organically when I noticed I'd gone a week or so without, and just kept the momentum going for shits and giggles for about another week. I don't feel like either daily fap or no fap is better than the other, but they can and do have different qualities -- can't really specify or clearly remember those details but they certainly can have a different feel to them. I'd imagine that if one feels guilty or shameful about fap/porn, that could massively contribute to a large portion of any negative effects of shooting loads. If it didn't take me so long to cum (it really does take me an unusually long time; nothing to really complain about lol) then I'd very likely do it every day.

What I really am is always making this artificial construct of Me (self/other) “in order to” (though not in true causal fashion) distract from being the only thing in existence, but it no longer actually successfully distracts from the truth that it itself is a construction I’m making. 100.0% relaxed and happy about it as it is, because the alternative is absolutely nothing. Bullshit is not, and no bullshit is. It’s completely indescribable what it’s like other than to just say, wow... And none of that actually even really happened because nothing really does, and I’m talking to myself right now. I’m conscious that I just imagined all that, and the entire universe. When you successfully convey something, there’s a particular positive state associated with that, but it’s clear to me that this simply cannot be conveyed, so I have no qualms about the frustration with my inability to do so. -
Could be all in your head from hearing of all the supposed benefits of no-fap. Or you could be among those who actually feel worse from fapping — maybe no-fap works for some, but all the shit about how shooting semen drains your life force... completely imaginary bs. I’ve tried all kinds of things for mental clarity, etc, and ime no-fap had zero positive effects. I was expecting at least something, but no — and my senses were very acute at the time because of all the meditation I was doing, so I would have definitely been able to differentiate positive effects if they were present. So that was that. Now, whenever I have a gf I’m pretty much doing no-fap, at least for some periods, but still nutting daily. Death to no-fap! ?

In my experience, not unless you’ve had it on another classic psychedelic (or in rare cases perhaps a dissociative like ketamine) first. Cannabis isn’t nearly as conducive to other-collapse as LSD and 5-MeO-DMT. -

To tell you the truth, it’ll just be this eternal dream. -

^^ At a certain point they all do the same thing just with differing background flavors (and of course durations). Time gone; other collapsed; infinity, + some background flavor hardly noticeable at all. It’s quite a remarkable shift that happened in me at least. N,N-DMT used to make me see aliens and angels, and at about age 23 it changed and it was just plain collapse of the illusion of finitude. At least as far as the whole psychedelic, still basically segregated, piece of the dream goes. -

At the sort of loosey-goosey dualistic (movement) level of “my” (the one talking to someone else is completely fictional and I’m fully conscious of that) dream creation, it’s as if a vampire is amused at the prospect of there being other vampires — surely this character picked that up from Jed McKenna in this vast limitless infinite imagination. I am the only thing that exists, and you are me and I am you. Whatever reads this is not awake or even being spoken to, as they are completely manufactured individuals living in apparent separation from one another for my/your amusement (but it isn’t really mine/yours because there is no you or me at the level this will certainly be read at), as there is only one awake being and that is what I am. Yeah, amongst other things that are not in any way communicable... it’s just the utter collapse of the illusion of other being anything but an elaborate play. At the core there is just limitless, impenetrable-if-desired, infinite imagination. -

This comment applies to basically everyone currently posting here, in case you didn’t already know. With reference to the comparison between where you are, and enlightenment... To be the absolute most honest, to the point of very likely perceived rudeness: While in the only meaningful sense (or rather, in the absolute sense) they are exactly the same... in the relative sense, enlightenment is utterly (to a point that is plainly incomprehensible to you) radically different. Regardless of what you probably think. Lol even this response is actually just totally warped infinite consciousness. I just can’t even describe it to you and it’s almost maddening, but actually at the same time it’s the exact opposite of maddening. -

This misunderstanding is very directly and simply put to rest by the following metaphor if the pointing is seen: Q: Did Romeo and Juliet choose (or cause) their suicide? A: Obviously not, because it's just a play. Only in the story did something in the story cause their suicide. In the same way, choices in the real world are simply an appearance of the infinite -- like a tree growing, but faster, and (like everything else) diverse in its own way. Only in the story can something in the story cause anything to happen. -
The0Self replied to Seeker_of_truth's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No-self... It's less confusing and perhaps more direct to say no-other. That which has no other is all there is. No self means there isn't anything to be in contrast with this; all there is (beyond location and time); everything; infinity; that which has no other. No here since no there = everywhere/NowHere. -

Yes. Every dreamer is really the sole (nondual-)beholder of creation, as there’s no real dreamer and no other dreamer. In the story you could say it’s one dream for one dreamer. All there is is all there is. Just not a particular who or thing separate from appearance/consciousness (that’s the dream). The Truth is simply that there is only Truth — nothing more can really be said. To want to know Truth (“What Is”) is to misunderstand it and to live in an illusory setup — artificial separation — which too is all there is, appearing to be that... As a total story one could say, that (or rather its apparent associated conditions) contributes drama to the appearance (via emotion, morality, and the search for “better”) and it too is wholeness itself, it’s just not wholeness for someone — it’s never apart from all that is; wholeness for no purpose or goal, and without condition. -
Two thiol groups usually means chelator, but this one has them absurdly far apart, so I’m doubtful it would be as effective as the hook-like structure of ALA, DMSA, and DPMS. The heavy metal gets situated between the two thiol groups. Maybe this still somehow works and perhaps it would be better than single thiol organosulfates but I highly doubt it’s even close to the double thiol structures like the 3 principal chelators I listed above.

You’re looking at this from a different perspective. Everything that happens is an empty appearance of infinity, made for the amusement of God, which plays every character — not simultaneously, but timelessly. So what you are is the only being that exists, which is the same as my being. The trouble in understanding is unavoidable because it’s impossible to think in terms of timelessness wherein everything not only happens at once, but actually doesn’t really happen at all. -
The0Self replied to The0Self's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If by Self you mean unconditional love or needlessness then yeah that seems to be what can happen in the second of two separate awakenings, the first being of no self. Maybe both can happen at the same time. The more one sees what it is, the less one wants it — this already, it’s all there is, and it’s inconceivably perfect. NOT this what’s happening here and now as opposed to some other time and place, but the singularity, which as a story one can fall asleep into, and no one wakes up — it’s just the undoing of the illusory setup that identifies-with and relates-to. By imagining what it would be like to exist, I mean imagining it exists as a separate being. It is of course existence itself, or whatever you want to call absolutely nothing existing eternally as everything. -

It’s just not something that one can be led to. In the story you could say it’s like a tumultuous fading out of knowing, but there aren’t any rules, just apparent patterns. -
The0Self replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yeah I just didn’t see that even to the faintest degree with him. Wait, He’s not a teacher — that would be the key thing to take away from this as I thought you already understood that. Everything you say makes perfect sense if you’re talking about a teacher. Good God a teacher teaching about what enlightenment really is is making me a little nauseous ? — I’m joking, but still. It can only be pointed to, and never ever led to. -
The0Self replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Various reasons. Perhaps mostly either because they just can’t seem to stop watching, or that they think they’re going to get something, such as enlightenment (based on a misunderstanding, and he is very upfront about pointing that out). Fun. No reason, ultimately. -

It cannot be embodied so giving a random example would only mislead but with that said, Andreas Müller. I don’t know what to say to that with respect to enlightenment other than it’s just what appeared to happen. But with respect to spiritual advancement and greater happiness, it seems like maybe he was just letting you do your path while relaying info based on what he did on the path, or maybe based on nothing at all. I don’t know. -

I’ll admit I don’t know anything about how he conducts business, I only know him from his posts and videos and I also perused his website. He may very well be guilty of some kind of social-monetary infraction but I’d bet that’s due to his personality, his lack of worldly understanding, general worldly or personal imperfection, or someone’s lack of understanding. What did you pay him for and what exactly did he say he’d provide? He might be playing the teacher character or perhaps even the swindler character lol (although I’m sure there’d be two sides to that, in the story of course) — I would never do that, but maybe he would. No idea (truly). As I said, the elevation of consciousness gets thrown in there with enlightenment and so it can perhaps be seen as something somehow worthwhile to teach and so we have enlightenment (humans associated with it) masquerading as authorities. The uncaused, timeless, and permanent end of the illusory sense of personal doership, lack, and separation. Timeless no-other-ness. It is without a doubt the last thing anyone is looking for, though many think they are — you could say that’s how it hides. It cannot be embodied so giving a random example would only mislead but with that said, Andreas Müller. Regardless, this couldn’t be any other way, and it’s already unbounded. There’s just no separation — awareness itself is the connection between what is already not separate, and even that is just a story. -
The0Self replied to Gregory1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Just refraining from (mis)leading. What you call enlightenment is something else. Something far more spectacular such as God realization or higher consciousness. When enlightenment happens there’s quite literally no one left to care about it or even to abide in it. And amazingly, there never was anyone there separate from totality. So enlightenment is not something that has to be achieved — it’s merely the end of an energetic setup which makes this appearance seem somehow knowably separate. And literally absolutely nothing can bring it about because it’s acausal — even for that reason alone, any teaching of enlightenment at all is automatically unworthy of the title. The situation is infinitely hopeless. On the other hand, the elevation of consciousness gets thrown in there with enlightenment and so it can perhaps be seen as something somehow worthwhile to teach and so we have enlightenment masquerading as authority. Nothing wrong with that.
