  1. In all seriousness though, for onlookers, I'm fairly certain it would not actually work (though it may potentiate psychedelics once they're already absorbed into the blood via whatever standard effective means). Concurrent oral administration of both the tryptamine and the MAOI is probably necessary (probably even better if the MAOI is consumed ahead of the tryptamine), as I'm fairly certain the MAO enzymes that degrade the DMT actually do so in the stomach... And I don't think it would work if you ate the tobacco either, as the MAO-A/B inhibitors in tobacco are active when smoked but not when used buccally or sublingually -- leads me to think they might not be orally active either. Just use Syrian Rue or something lol. And just as an aside: In general, it's probably best to avoid potentiating psychedelic cacti with MAOI, as they contain significant tyramine -- as do many foods, and especially cheese which which can contain over 2mg tyramine per gram (and has actually been associated with documented fatalities in combination with prescription MAOI's). As little as 6mg tyramine can cause serious hypertension in the presence of MAOI, and some psychedelic cacti can contain up to 1mg/g -- so it would therefore be prudent to at least never consume anywhere near 6g of cacti with MAOI... However, psychedelic cacti contain other tyramines (not tryptamines; cacti are phenethylamine psychedelics) including dimethylTYRamine (not dimethylTRYptamine), which are not included in that "up to 1mg/g" figure... And those additional tyramines might interact with MAOI as well... So I'd just avoid that combo outright
  2. It displaces the essential mineral metal core in key antioxidant enzymes, among other things.
  3. Like anything else, it simply is what everything is. Relatively speaking, the creation and consumption of entertaining content is a distraction from non-being; amusement for and as consciousness; love.
  4. It was quite a profound experience for me as well. Later when I first entered jhana, I immediately recognized: the last time I felt almost precisely this way was on MDMA. So yeah it's definitely achievable without drugs, but drugs are a nice reference point to have -- guess it's not really that useful until you can manifest it yourself and then remember the drug introduced you to it, in a sense.
  5. Interesting! Shorter than that. For intranasal rs-ketamine 150mg: onset in a couple minutes, peak at about T+15min (k-hole begins by this point, sometimes as early as 8-10 minutes, if dose is high enough), comedown begins by about T+45min, with fairly strong after-effects persisting until about T+2hr. By T+60min I'm never ever still k-holed, just tripping very hard. Deschloroketamine on the other hand lasted 2-3 hours with after effects for like another 2-3.
  6. I wouldn't purposely take anything with fluorine atoms, but that's just my holistic intuition. But I have used DCK (deschloroketamine), and it was nowhere near as fruitful, clean, and insightful as ketamine, particularly rs-ketamine. Though there was one research chemical called MXE (methoxetamine) which was apparently the cleanest dissociative ever made, so RC's aren't necessarily worse than regular k.
  7. You don't even really need to k hole for the infinitely expanded state, you just have to get close. Really it will basically be a k hole, just not a catatonic k hole. I actually can't remember the exact doses I took, unfortunately, but I definitely would generally use between 30 and 200mg intranasally in a sitting, not necessarily all at once. I think at 70-100mg (at once, and actually more like 110mg rectal as the bioavailability is backwards with this) it would be teetering on the edge of opening up the timeless infinite, but the definite k hole kicked in after around >140mg intranasal. >200mg for an absolutely catatonic k hole fwiw but that's not needed at all, and I'd never go that high on purpose. By the way... Every time I k holed (or got very close) without the intention to lie down the entire time, I'd somehow end up with a gash in my head. Absolutely lie down.
  8. I laughed out loud when I read that !! Oh man... You'd be very intrigued by the k hole. Or just higher doses. If you've experienced god realization on just LSD (or any psychedelic really), the high dose ketamine infinite state will present much differently to you than it does to those who haven't. For ketamine's infinitely expanded state or "god realization equivalent," you don't even necessarily need k hole (full anesthesia and bodily sensory disconnection), just fairly close to it. It's quite safe in high individual infrequent doses. If you use ~75-150mg once every 2 months I find it hard to see any downsides, but you'll have to do your own research and decide for yourself. I plugged and insufflated a lot of substances, and plugging was better in all applicable compounds... except ketamine. For some reason it works better with me intranasally. Just looked it up and apparently, while the research is all over the place, the trend I've noticed can be summed up as at least this pro-intranasal: "The bioavailability of ketamine administered via an intranasal route has been reported to be between 25–50% (36). A study in healthy volunteers comparing administration methods found intranasal ketamine bioavailability of 45%, higher than sublingual, oral, or rectal administration and found no significant differences in pharmacokinetics between preparations, including injection (37). Additionally, this study found conversion to norketamine was more similar between intranasal and injection than the other administration methods, suggesting that first-pass metabolism is relatively absent with intranasal administration." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4185009/pdf/nihms582382.pdf Some quick googling often with "ncbi" in the search terms is how I generally determine what a compound's pharmacokinetics are. Some studies put the intranasal bioavailability even higher, but ime, it's not just the bioavailability, so maybe something like that increased norketamine conversion is in play somehow. I have actually IV'd the stuff too and it was indeed the most powerful and quick ROA (50-75mg k-hole I believe), but snorting can get you to the same place just a little slower and with >2x the product -- IN peaks (tmax) in 15 minutes. These days I would never IV anything -- bit crazy back then. Datura apparently uses the same mechanism as DPH, which I have tried at deliriant doses. It was well before I started actually getting somewhere in the exploration of Self and god consciousness, but it's still fresh enough in my memory for me to definitely feel it's not worth the miserable dysphoria that pervaded the entire trip -- The dysphoria was utterly horrendous (though the hallucinations too were dark and sinister yet completely lifelike, they were nowhere near as challenging as the dysphoria)... Actual psychedelics are more enlightening anyway. Psychedelics aren't the only class that can be used for ego death; god consciousness; timeless-infinite. Dissociatives do that too (in their own unique way) if psychedelics also do it for that particular character.
  9. Purposely doing only-concentration meditation can also move things along at an intolerably slow rate, relative to including noting, etc. Investigating what's true, vipassana, noting, etc can move things along very quickly.
  10. Yeah, it does. I would not say it tops it. But dissociative god/unity is definitely quite powerful in its own unique way, and somehow essentially the same ultimately (infinite) but still very different in character from psychedelic god/unity. Basically, ketamine's infinitely expanded state (k hole) is infinitely more powerful than its lower doses, in the exact same way that a psychedelic's infinitely expanded state (God realization / unity) is infinitely more powerful than its lower doses. (Obviously there is no ketamine or psychedelics in those states anyway, but you know what I mean.) I'm curious what you would say about k hole or near k hole, if anything. Make sure you're laying down the entire time if you aim for such -- I would not even sit upright. And I would definitely not take more than 0.5-1.0g within 5 days ever, as I noticed bladder pain only when consuming at well beyond that rate (and boy did it fucking hurt; haven't used it again since). I haven't used as much as ravers/etc or anything. Probably less than 5 grams in my life.
  11. Indescribable. You are omnipotent, but the you that identifies as you is not You. Collapse of finite identity doesn't even necessarily have to be associated with the obviousness of omnipotence, but it certainly can be. In a sense, you could say it's like the entire universe is working through you and your individual agency is completely out of the way. Except 1. there is no universe because the creation/imagination/intelligent-construction of the universe is the only thing the universe is working through you to do, and 2. there is no you separate from the universe. The actual structure of reality is the simplest and most efficient possible, to the point of there being no structure at all. There is no separation between anything; no things at all, except for in the mind, so to speak. Just as Ego is far smarter than you, You are far smarter than you.
  12. I don't think I mentioned that, but yeah something similar almost certainly presented at some point. I probably just ignored it if it wasn't the primary sensation, or if it was the primary sensation and particularly unpleasant, then I just tried to "find" or clearly objectify each sensation that it was comprised of.
  13. I am very much familiar with this. Conscious of how I'm manifesting everything -- including every little detail such as how I'm making it appear that a wall is on the other side of a room rather than everywhere, etc. Sounds ridiculous until it happens. The amount of times you've taken it don't mean anything. I took psychedelics well over a hundred times before age 23, and at age 23 (ish) it all completely changed. First of all if you still have even a modicum of the materialist paradigm running in your mind, these omniscience states will be completely blocked from view. (Absolutely not criticizing, if it seems that way. Just relaying my experience.) Before the inflection point, ketamine (30-150mg intranasal) trip was like an astral projection realm where I've fly around -- stuff like that, quite spectacular. After, it was completely indescribable, but immeasurably more intense. 30mg and god mind would open up, 70mg and it was completely indescribable. It's not as if I, this character, was omniscient -- this character is just something that what I really am (that which can't be identified with since it is absolutely everything and nothing) is imagining. It's not a state that you own. Your finite identity collapses and then it's impossible to be not-omniscient, automatically. And @Leo Gura -- ime, snorting works best for ketamine, even though plugging is better for nearly everything else. I'd say if you try this, you'll see. Or you can just up the dose... doesn't matter, at least rectal is a little quicker. Ketamine somehow seems to have an unusually low rectal bioavailability or something, idk what the deal is with that.
  14. That's how it used to be like for me, give or take. There was an inflection point I hit at age ~23 (I'm 28 now, so ~5 years ago), well before I even tried 5-MeO-DMT. After this inflection point (on LSD), all psychedelics began to have almost the same effect, albeit with slightly differing durations and flavors. It happened on an LSD trip -- it was basically my first "experience" of the infinite or "God-realization" / time completely collapsed and even just before it went completely nondual it was clear that I'm the only thing that exists and the ego-mind was dead and unable to do anything because there was only the infinite, basically. Solipsism / unity consciousness / absolute infinity / unconditional love / etc. Before that point, N,N-DMT trips involved incredibly amazing and wacky experiences such as contact with divine entities and aliens... After that point, all psychedelics, including N,N-DMT, provided no visuals, it was just timeless oneness at high doses, and an incredible boost in consciousness at low doses. 110ug LSD-25 was a virtually guaranteed God-realization / life-exit-and-reenter. Daily life started to feel basically like a trip too -- I immediately recognized this, because the same exact thing had happened earlier when I started Mahasi (really Kenneth Folk) style noting meditation with a strong background in TMI and concentration... before I chickened out for years because I was awakening too fast... <--Hopefully, whoever is on the fence about whether they should try noting, reads that -- It's probably the 3rd most heavy-duty practice there is, placing right after 2. using psychedelics with focused intent for truth and consciousness expansion, and 1. manually peeling back the experiential overlay of learned delusion... But take that with a grain of salt -- the essence of practice can't be condensed into any single technique, much less "the top 3 most effective techniques" i.e. practice is a totally holistic game. Anyway, before that psychedelic inflection point is reached, trips are nothing like they are after. Apparently Leo was already there when he first started using psychedelics, from what I gather, so he doesn't know anything about entity contact, etc. Trips go from "fun and amazing," to "infinite." I later tried 5-MeO-DMT and then used it quite a lot (once used a half gram inside of a week or so) and still to this day feel it's the cleanest psychedelic (that I've used), but all psychedelics feel quite a lot like 5-MeO to me now (haven't tripped in over a year though). But after that inflection point, the character of the ketamine trip would change as well -- approaching k-hole now (though it's been probably a year or so) is very much like god realization on LSD-25 or 5-MeO-DMT (but of course with a very different character), which was not possible until that inflection point, in my case... That's just how it was for me. I've had god mind and absolute omnipotence and omniscience experiences with ketamine after the so called inflection point I talked about above. It definitely can happen. If you have a body it is probably not k hole. But even well below k hole doses, and probably even before the so called inflection point (if it exists for a particular character), it can still provide ego death and solipsism and unity. The describable-ness of trips completely evaporated. I can't describe them. In fact anything you can describe is not absolutely true.
  15. If you can’t get that with 5-MeO-DMT, you probably can’t with ketamine either. If you can though, then you probably will. Ketamine has its own timeless breakthrough ultra-high-consciousness thing too, if you’ve been going to war deep into consciousness work / have insight into suffering, concentration, reality, etc. If someone is just k holing for fun, and the infinity window just hasn’t been opened so to speak, it’s not remotely the same experience as what I’m referring to, which is a total collapse of center, time, and finitude.
  16. Not quite, but it can induce psychedelic-related states, ime.
  17. Can very much relate. Though, it was after a whole lot of constant intense practice, so the subsequent release was bound to have some kind of effect. Sort of like how a deload in barbell/athletic training will increase/peak one's strength. Sort of like: when contemplation becomes automatic, stop contemplating.
  18. It needs no explanation. There's only what is. You are where you are. But location is a thought. "Using my eyes" is a thought. There is simply infinite. You can't get insight by talking on forums, only tips for your practices which themselves can provide insight. If you want to know what's absolutely true, be aware that truth is not a thought -- therefore, if you can think it, it isn't absolutely true. Everything that is untrue is a thought. This isn't getting you anywhere, you have to do the work. If you don't want to do the work, do something else, but asking others existential questions will do absolutely nothing. If you believe that you're ultimately a finite human being living in a material reality, then that's where you're at, and obviously this won't mean anything to you.
  19. By the way, if you're just doing "concentration" (stillness; happiness; blissfulness; steadiness; samadhi; jhana) meditation to get into those wonderful expanded states, stillness, and jhanas... you can do that all day for months, or even an hour a day for years (or even a whole 10 day retreat of 18 hours a day), and still never reach jhana... or if you do reach jhana you might only develop the ability to feel insanely good -- on demand maybe, if you're really skilled... But concentration meditation will never ever lead to awakening. If you're not investigating experience, you might not get much insight. If you're having a difficult time reaching jhana (the inflection point where meditation becomes preposterously fun and blissful), perhaps try noting -- Mahasi method or just noting experience (preferably aloud, once per second, for a full hour at first -- this can blast you right through a plateau like nothing else) by using the 4 foundations of mindfulness... I like Kenneth Folk's guide to noting more than any other. The insight stages (mind and body, arising and passing away, dissolution, dark night, equanimity, etc) are indeed real, and when you're able to clearly move up and down that ladder (you actually feel it and can clearly identify the stages/states), jhanas become far easier, as you'll find specific jhanas correlate to specific nanas (insight territories). Check out these links: https://kennethfolkdharma.com/quick-start-guide/ http://insanebraintrain.blogspot.com/2013/10/meditation-practice-journals-from-old.html "Every time you discover the "problem" with your meditation, note your reaction to that thought. Note the thought itself. Note once per second, aloud, for the duration of your sitting. Note catastrophizing, dramatizing, histrionics, self-pity, evaluation thoughts, impatience, despair, self-loathing, joy, triumph, scenario spinning, longing, desire for deliverance, irritation, doubt, bliss, absorption, distraction, fear, anger, rage, disgust, euphoria, hope, contentment, anticipation, softness, hardness, coolness, warmth, pulsing, burning, itching, throbbing, stinging, tingling, hearing, seeing, tasting, smelling, pleasant, unpleasant, neutral, petulance, futility, dullness, fatigue; what have I left out? Of course you would like some kind of a shortcut or a tip. There is no such thing. There is only the mastery of this simple technique. By the time you master this technique, you will be an arahat. If you distract yourself from this technique by trying to tweak the recipe, the warrantee is void." Kenneth Folk ^^^ Quote is not from the links provided, I had it saved. The thing is, noting is very hard to start with and get the hang of, but fairly soon it's impossible to deny its power. So don't get caught up in pure concentration, the noting/investigation will help the concentration practice tremendously. If you think you can investigate effectively without noting, or simply can't believe it works, just try it. There are people who have tried to just get into 1st jhana, for an entire year of intensive meditation, without success... and after a week of noting they get to jhana literally on accident. When you get the hang of noting to the point where it happens automatically temporarily after a sit, you might find yourself avoiding noting, not because it's so hard (it'll be easier at this point), but because the territory it leads to is SO far out and unfamiliar and it's changing your perception so quickly. In my experience, noting is even far more conducive to kundalini explosions than even TMI/TM/TWIM/samadhi/etc... but especially more conducive to awakening, if not necessary for certain kinds of awakening. If you're like me, you'll go through a period of avoiding noting... because it's very easy to delay your awakening by simply avoiding the hard (especially until you get the hang of it) work of noting. Edit: This woman was not getting much progress until she started noting. Lots of concentration practice (left work to meditate many hours a day) but she didn't start popping off until she tried noting. She didn't see the logic behind how noting could possibly work to awaken into truth and end suffering, but this was her last option, and so she took a leap of faith and was pleasantly surprised. She's a physician, and the side effects of doing real noting for a couple hours a day were so intense she self-diagnosed them as simple partial seizures (clearly it was kundalini energy). She starts talking about it around minute 19...
  20. It's better if some things are censored. Otherwise it's just a free for all of untrue but seemingly plausible ideas that further confuse people. Unfortunately you can't get around this.
  21. Even if this somehow did happen (certainly not in the way you're likely thinking), if definitely wouldn't be permanent, as nothing actually lasts, much less lasts forever. But there's no one separate from everything to fail or pass, and it's all self-imposed despite the fact that there is no self. But it's not that there being no self is true for you, or that you have no self, as that would obviously be contradictory. There's just no separation.
  22. There's a sort of inflection point where all psychedelics can do so. Before then, 5-MeO-DMT and LSD-25 may be more conducive. You'll know you're there when psychedelics are just associated with expanded consciousness, and no longer visuals and contact with imaginary or divine beings.
  23. Causality is only an appearance; thought. The subtle feeling that something does (thinks) the thought is itself more though. All untruth is thought. This is indescribable but one could attempt to describe it as a play with no audience. There was no Big Bang; this is the Big Bang. Even if we say the Big Bang happened, it was still the beginning of time, and so it's creation/beginning or prior to it is timeless, and so you're no further away from it now.
  24. At a certain level of skill, it's almost hard not to meditate 4 hours a day. If you can enter jhana or samadhi at will, you'll likely be doing so quite a lot. Until then, to get to that point, I'd say it takes several months of at least an hour or two sit a day (practicing for the entire sit; only having intermittent mind-wandering for the first few weeks or however long) plus focused intent throughout the day. That's not the same thing as awakening, but it certainly won't hurt and indeed will likely be extremely fruitful.
