  1. Yes you are; yes I am. You’re experiencing it right now for God’s sake lol. What you refer to as “I” is not actually you. It is the root delusion, a mere idea/image. The problem is you’re identifying with something (anything) in your experience, arbitrarily. and I get that you don’t understand that anyone could actually know this — it is possible though. Don’t know what else to tell you
  2. It is omni aware. It’s aware of all delusion too, such as the false perception of being a limited being without omni awareness.
  3. This bears repeating. Don’t mind me...
  4. @Display_Name Yeah the whole benefit of the aloud aspect is the fact that you never get stuck (if you do, just note uncertainty/confusion/etc) and it facilitates mindful continuity very efficiently. It really shines if you do it for at least 40 minutes straight, preferably 60+. Just every single second, noting your experience. Good luck doing that without saying it out loud — you’re liable to take a 5 second break somewhere in there to bask in some piti, etc. (for me anyway).
  5. @Display_Name I am also more of a second gear guy but noting aloud 1x/s has put me in states that made me question everything I thought I knew about meditation. I can feel myself moving through the ñana’s in a way that other practices don’t provide. However, self-inquiry gets me to what I can only describe as an inversion, where what I thought was me is revealed to be on the inside of the actual me, and I’m looking in at the world from this vast infinite blackness/void. Amazing. And I feel a very strange similarity between Rob Burbea’s anatta... and self-inquiry — it’s like they’re actually the exact same process but tweaked in such subtly different ways I can barely even describe what that difference is.
  6. Everything is happening, including the perception of a limited being only aware of their body mind. That is a necessary aspect of The Infinite, otherwise it wouldn’t deserve the title.
  7. I play guitar only in 432hz. It simply means the note “A4” is 432hz (it’s traditionally 440). 432 is said to be a much better relative system around the number 8, and 8hz is said to be the beat of the earth. I personally think it does actually sound better. If you care to know how to tune to this: e 323.64 B 242.45 G 192.44 (upper limit, this string sounds better flat, as a guitar is an imperfect instrument and this is the peak of the inaccuracy if you were to tune perfectly) D 144.16 A 108.00 E 80.91 (would be 82.41 if in 440hz tuning)
  8. Yes. To some degree, as a human, you identify as that which doesn’t wish to hurt, and can somewhat reliably avoid pain or suffering. Dying would be a relative “survival strategy“ in that case.
  9. Drinking alcohol now results in a major decrease in feelings of well being. It’s pointless now.
  10. This is incorrect. You’re witnessing Reality (God) creating itself before your very eyes.
  11. @Dazgwny with that kind of desire and determination, I know you will, too
  12. Reality (God) is unlimited. If it weren’t, something outside of reality would have to limit it... meaning the limiter would be unreal by definition. The consequences of this are rather amazing: absolutely anything is possible, including God’s self creation. And the really cool thing is... since time is among those aspects that are created, rather than creation being some event that happened long ago, you’re witnessing it right now... from the so-called vantage point of pure infinite potential, only inferred to exist because in a sense you can never experience it... it IS you. You are where you have always been: here and now. You are nothing and everything, but the only way you as God can actually be truly infinite, is to limit yourself infinitely... and ONE of those limitations is the perception of you right here and now being a seemingly finite being that feels it is not omniscient. It is as it is. How? Psychedelics... but also Self-inquiry: where is this I-know-it-ness coming from? Anything seen is not you since you are the one seeing (at least you assume ), but that appears too and is just a thought. When the I is absorbed in itself it eventually purifies and stops, revealing nonduality. Seeing and seen arise from each other, together, however, it is also true that they do not arise, as they are empty. Since emptiness too is empty, there is this.
  13. I have a feeling this will continue to fall on deaf ears
  14. Omega 3 is useless, well not really, but it’s specifically DHA/EPA that’s useful (relatively essential to the body), however it’s not for everyone. Best supplements to take: exactly what you need, and no more. Even vitamin D should not be taken willy nilly. Magnesium sulfate is generally safe. The most important thing is the brand since non-prescription-supps aren’t exactly regulated. OK brands (but not always) = Thorne, Pure Encapsulations, Jarrow, NOW, Life Extension. Even zinc isn’t necessarily smart as you could be on the low end for cortisol and zinc can shut cortisol down. Despite what you may have heard, cortisol is actually very important...
  15. Everything is always already here. Time is false. Now is false. Stop doing = stop thinking up the universe.
  16. Imagine a sci-fi plot where the timeline goes infinitely far forward and technology and evolution develops accordingly until technology and intelligence “reach” asymptote infinite development, meaning limitless power, then they realize why and how the universe was created and they have to go back in time and create themselves. Which they can do with infinite power. Sounds familiar.
  17. No. It’s like calling myself a human in the dream, then waking up and realizing there was no dream, and I’m nothing ultimately. Everything is the same substance as awareness, then that is seen as delusion too, it was a dream that never happened.
  18. He’s only a human in mind. You’re only a human in mind. You are that of which nothing can be said, which has within it thought, which constitutes mind. Perceiving and perceived arise dependent on one another and therefore do not arise at all, since both would have to be there before the other.
  19. Culadasa, Kenneth Folk, and Rob Burbea (RIP) have the clearest and most effective meditation instructions imo. Glad your practice is really taking-off.
  20. Maybe I wasn’t wording it properly or we’re talking past one another. How’s this: “Things-existing” happens in so-called mind, which is just thoughts. This so-called mind happens in existence/reality/God. However, this existence/reality/God happens in “things-existing.”
  21. Another enlightenment exercise: Noting aloud Kenneth Folk quote: http://awakenetwork.org/forum/kfd-archive-wetpaint/12498-tips-for-stream-entry “ Forget about the tips and tricks. Forget about the centerpoint. Forget about the 3 characteristics. Forget about whether you think you are concentrated or not. Forget about what you think you know about meditation. Every time you discover the "problem" with your meditation, note your reaction to that thought. Note the thought itself. Note once per second, aloud, for the duration of your sitting. Note catastrophizing, dramatizing, histrionics, self-pity, evaluation thoughts, impatience, despair, self-loathing, joy, triumph, scenario spinning, longing, desire for deliverance, irritation, doubt, bliss, absorption, distraction, fear, anger, rage, disgust, euphoria, hope, contentment, anticipation, softness, hardness, coolness, warmth, pulsing, burning, itching, throbbing, stinging, tingling, hearing, seeing, tasting, smelling, pleasant, unpleasant, neutral, petulance, futility, dullness, fatigue; what have I left out? Of course you would like some kind of a shortcut or a tip. There is no such thing. There is only the mastery of this simple technique. By the time you master this technique, you will be an arahat. If you distract yourself from this technique by trying to tweak the recipe, the warrantee is void. “
