  1. Story: If you were to either trust fully or not know fully, you might actually die, but you’d be God and have no need. Of course that’s already the case so don’t think you’re getting somewhere by understanding.
  2. The thing you responded to with “ok I see” is basically synonymous with the thing you prefaced with “what about”
  3. Everybody wants enlightenment. They want enlightenment more than anything. But ultimately, enlightenment is not want-able because it’s all there is. You can’t want what’s already happening — that’s tantamount to the apparent me dissolving either partially or completely (what some may term ego death).
  4. ? Obviously there is in fact no final enlightenment, because final enlightenment is all there is. But nobody wants final enlightenment. Literally nobody at all. And nobody will, ever.
  5. Nvm. I agree with you entirely in any way that may appear to actually matter, though it would only appear to matter, in that case.
  6. ? Either works. Or doesn’t, depending on your viewpoint in that particular duality.
  7. ❤️ ? It will always, because it already isn’t.
  8. You are a devil. There is no devil.
  9. Sounds like bodybuilding. But instead of blast and cruise cycles with GH, androgens, and insulin, it’s blasting and cruising cycles of psychedelic experiences — or just experience in general. Experience is the engine for the dream’s apparent continuation. Well, for consciousness expansion, psychedelics can definitely be useful, but there’s no need to try to get anywhere — there isn’t anywhere else, the illusion you’re trying to overcome is that there’s 2 of anything; 2 places or times or ways you can be. There’s only everything. There’s nothing else. The trap is trying to know the empty; the unspeakable; the infinite; the unknowable, which is all there is.
  10. There is only everything, which leaves no room for anything that could apply to everything; the infinite — including limits, rules, awareness, meaning, or purpose.
  11. That’s what is. As is everything. So there isn’t anything else.
  12. It’s more meaningless than that than you could ever possibly imagine. Like 1 trillion times more meaningless wouldn’t even scratch the surface of the nothing that is.
  13. Turn that confusion upside down, into a non-understanding, and you’d die. Not that it could ever happen, because it already is.
  14. ? Unfortunately for the individual, horrible is amazing. ❤️ (Which is also fortunate)
  15. The appearance is there but isn’t there. Would you know if you weren’t there? You’d probably agree that you would not. I’m gonna just come out and say you aren’t there now. And, oh yeah, you don’t know it. Hmm. It’s not even that there’s nothing you can do, it’s actually worse and it’s not even the same (in the story): there is no you.
  16. Hmm. Might seem like consciousness is the one thing that can’t be illusory but that’s actually not true if we’re talking about dualistic consciousness or anything that could be equated with knowing. There isn’t something outside of everything that could possibly know it — because obviously then it wouldn’t be everything, but since there is only everything, knowing is dreaming.
  17. The me can realize all sorts of amazing things in the dream. That could be called personal enlightenment or consciousness work. If you want to be happy, establish a daily meditation practice and let it blossom. Don’t strive. Any diligence can be applied to just setting aside an hour a day to sit. Or experiment with whatever cool practices are available — self inquiry, jhanas, yoga, self love... On the other hand... Nothing doesn’t exist (it’s no-thing), so it isn't finite — it’s infinite. Nothing is (appears as) everything. There’s no room for a you that could ever actually know it’s liberated. There‘s only everything, which happens to be nothing. This is already everything — the incomprehensible, so nobody knows it, which is exactly why “you” don’t know it. Nobody ever does.
  18. Psychedelics are just another experience. They raise consciousness, but do absolutely nothing (and I really do mean nothing at all, whatsoever) for liberation (of which there is none, for the me). Nothing doesn’t exist, so it can’t be finite. It’s therefore infinite. Therefore nothing is (appears as) everything. In case you don’t already intuitively get this, there’s no you that could ever know it’s liberated. There is only everything, which happens to be nothing. To be dramatic, you have no clue how close to that which you fear and crave most, death, this is — it isn’t even close, life is death.
  19. Pure selflessness would in fact take THIS on, which is why it seems to be happening.
  20. If you wanted to say ALL there is is consciousness, you could. But you could also say all there is is unconditional love, no-thing, everything, or whatever. Just as long as it’s all the same. It’s certainly not consciousness or love as anyone knows it. It’s not consciousness that involves knowing either, so it doesn’t necessarily seem right (or wrong) to call it consciousness. How could anything exist outside of everything in order to know it? Knowing is an illusion, but its appearance is still not outside of everything.
  21. 1. They’re narcissistic and they freak out 2. they’re narcissistic and they don’t give a fuck, have fun, no insight 3. they’re more on the “good“ spectrum and they freak out 4. they’re more on the good subjective spectrum and they either go on or off course, according to their dream.
  22. Understanding is an oxymoron. Understanding the infinite is as oxymoronic as it gets.
  23. Anything can be used for spirituality. Self love is probably the most effective practice for the me, but if you were perhaps trying to liberate... Keep on keepin on if you want, but anyway... nothing is doing this. This may be misleading: Y’all... There is no me and nothing needs to change. What a me can’t possibly hear is: this is already paradise. What a me is even more afraid of admitting (because it wants to live) is: that it’s absolutely obvious.
