What about communist dictators that destroyed traditional culture? Russia, China etc. They destroyed churches and priceless artifacts. Also in Iran the regime wanted to destroy Persian archeological sites because they were deemed "Unislamic".

I don't want to be taken out of context so I am reposting my original post that elicited a lot of these triggered responses: (You don't have to fully agree with me and feel free to bring serious counterpoints.) " I agree that there are two sides but your equivalencies are mad and impossible to take seriously. You also still deny and belittle pretty crucial aspects of 7/10. It’s just all starkly obvious to me which side is more upstanding, reasonable and decent. There is something to be said against Netanyahu and some of his extremist coalition partners. They're problematic however this issue is as temporary as can be. Israel has oscillating electoral results with left-center being highly decent and peace-oriented. Bibi was on his way out but got a new purpose now, courtesy of Hamas. Also purely practically speaking, Palestinians simply can’t use violence because they’ll just get hammered down (Whether you pamper them or not this will happen after terrorism). A dark aspect of Palestinian psychology is that they hate how relatively normal, chill and peaceful they can live with Israel so they do things to provoke the Israelis to invite their "cruelty" onto themselves so they can show the world how pitiful and badly oppressed they are by the evil Israelis. This is their cult of victimization. If they snap out of it they can be genuinely constructive in creating something functional and beautiful for their people. "

Those "peaceful" civilian protesters are the same "civilian" crowd that marched in on 7/10. Of course, I hold Israel responsible for the massive 7/10 blunder.
-
Not being naive will help you here. But those marches were organized by Hamas. Along with feeding the victimization cult, it was also a way for them to test Israeli defenses.
-
This is exactly what I mean. They basically wanted to do a 7/10 style breakthrough then but failed. But they still can rely on people like you to play into their cult.

@Karmadhi People who don't support Hamas are innocent. Anyone who supports Hamas or 7/10 essentially supports the consequences of their action to (their fellow) Gazans. Just because they partake in a death and self-victimization cult doesn't mean you should play along.

How is that going for him? Btw Ukraine too is facing a demographic collapse. I hope they will recover quickly after the war. I hope the same for Russians. A part of the reason why It's deeply problematic that Putin still has this 19th-century war-is-the-norm mentality is because back then most common folk had 7 to 12 children. So even after a devastating war with muskets and "meatgrinder tactics", they could recover quite quickly. In the 21st century, war is less tenable, especially in Europe and especially now Russians have below-replacement birthrates and emigrate in significant numbers. First of all, Israeli government and more crucially their governing system is a whole dimension apart from the Russian one. But I was (and still am) critical of the Israeli government but Israel was barbaricly invaded bursting a certain bubble of perceived security and now needs to thoroughly shake down the terror groups at its doorstep. This government is problematic in some ways but this even more so means you should not provoke it. I feel sorry for the truly innocent civilians in Gaza but I don't see any reason to join them in their victimization cult and all the massive hypocritical bullshit accompanying that.
-
When your country faces a full-scale invasion it offers you some pathways for redemption. Again, I have not seen or heard anything outrageous from them and I am Jewish and I am Russian, so I am extremely sensitive to this stuff. All I see is Ukrainians defending their land and Putin being the one waging war on an otherwise chill brotherly nation and butchering a whole generation of Russian men. Ironically Putin's first priority should have been fixing the demographic issues facing Russia and securing its place as a powerful and much-respected player in the Western world order. Some outraged Wokies can be ignored, nobody serious cares about them.

The issue is not even about bias but about not being honest. Al Jazeera has its (Qatari, Islamic, Arab) agenda and bias. Fair enough. Al Jazeera Arabic is honest. Straight as can be, they will have a commentator denying or celebrating the Holocaust and nobody will bat an eye. Aljazeera English is dishonest. It has a tailor-made pretense. This of course to facilitate the Western extreme left - Islamist alliance. The prior serves as the useful idiots for the latter.

Criticizing Azov has for me these kind of vibes: They are more decent than you give them credit for. I think Azov gets a lot of hate from the (extreme) left because they have a shadow for genuine stage blue nationalistic virtue and strength. Though these are undeniably the building-block foundation for any society and civilization. If you don't have that you are either a stage red shithole or you are detached, totally taking for granted the forces that bring security to your civilization, which is American military might if you're a Westerner.
-
That's not a swastika. That's a Z
-
It ain't WW2 anymore, I have not seen Azov saying or doing outrageous stuff I only saw them fighting like absolute warriors.

What a wonderful person. A (healthy) stage orange value system gets along with Israel. They care about being genuinely constructive. I also think the president of El Salvador is a great Palestinian role model: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nayib_Bukele He is extremely competent in lifting up his country plagued by stage-red gang violence and rampant corruption.

We will be too "arrogant" to move to such a place We only go where we are welcomed and appreciated. Kudos to America and Germany for broadly speaking being very good to Jews. Also Kudos to all the other countries worldwide that have low anti-Semitism and have a healthy respect for us. We love you.
-
I get it you always need some self-awareness, understanding and class to avoid being mischaracterized by reasonable people but when some people are set against something like a mule, it's useless to pamper and dance your way around it - instead - do simply what needs to be done and say what needs to be said and let the action speak for itself even if it's mostly symbolic like in this case. Again no reasonable person will be against such a perfectly understandable question unless they are already really far off in some ideology or worldview irreconcilable with modern German values.
-
Mua not really, it’s a perfectly reasonable thing to have in a citizenship test. That people will simply lie on them is of course an other, perhaps more broader issue. You really have to be far off to be triggered by something this simple and seek some conspiracy behind this.
-
What pampering bullshit. They are in GERMANY now. If they get their feelings hurt that they can't openly shout death to Israel, death to Jews they can stay in their home country or go somewhere else. When they move to Germany they ideally must take on a new loyalty dropping much of their Middle Eastern baggage including all the interethnic conflicts and hatred they have there.
-
Haha yes, they even get triggered by Germany strongly stating Israel has the right to exist. Yeah of course. Keep in mind, the scope for a genuine discussion about this complex and multi-faceted issue is very limited because their dopamine system rewards them with a quick high after they mindlessly spout something anti-Israel or anti-Western (even though they are probably Westerners themselves). I call this "the Aljazeera effect". When a narrow and aggressive stage red/blue agenda has a tailored-made pretense for the purpose of recruitment of "useful idiots" with a communal/societal/civilizational void and severe vulnerability to emotional manipulation. Aljazeera Arabic doesn't need to do this elaborate pretense and is comfortably open with their blatantly anti-Semitic agenda, Holocaust-denying and what more to stoke the passions and distract the riffraff masses in the region. At least it makes me feel so grateful that I am who I am and that my mind works a certain way. I saw your pictures, we have a beautiful country!
-
This is obviously aimed at Islamic immigrants because Germans don’t want to damage their societal fabric and cohesion more than they already did, which is understandable and absolutely in their right.

I wondered because you said you were from the (ex) Soviet Union and grew up religious and you mentioned the Messiah a couple of times. Yes, they helped a lot in settling in my grandparents in Israel, making sure they got an apartment and a job. And it's nice knowing I can rely on them almost anywhere in the world if something gets wrong. When I was in Israel I donated some money to them.

I think @Nivsch has hit the nail on the head here in each of his posts lately. There is an entanglement of 3 things here: 1. Obvious lies and manipulations 2. Less obvious agenda-driven manipulations and 3. genuine civilian suffering which is tragic. Buy yeah, Hamas has invited the IDF into Gaza and just as easily can send them back by releasing the hostages and getting to some decent deal. @Gennadiy1981 Did you used to be affiliated with the Chabad movement?
-
Looks a bit messy now but I am sure it will turn out beautiful haha. I actually really like the iron-rich red soil they often use for landscaping in Israel. Much of the area between Tel Aviv and Haifa has naturally this kind of red soil.
-
Not even that. The raw truth and nature of what happened during the attack does not register and is always deflected in a way to always circle back to their narrative. They deny it, say we're lying and weaponize 7/10 for their own narrative. I would actually understand if they simply didn't feel much for it because It's impossible to be emotionally attached to everyone on this earth, so maybe they don't care about Israelis, which is fine but if you're so passionate about the topic and you're the virtue signaling type and not the Islamist type why not integrate that truth along? Why is it so threatening to those particular people? I think I know the answer.
-
That’s like me sharing the Green Prince and other pro-Israel Arab media personalities and saying I am fighting Islamophobia. All you do is just spew your pre-packaged narrative courtesy of the hive mind. I assume you're one of those more gentle and idealist stage green people just being taken for a ride.
