Tim R replied to Kalki Avatar's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Just read the comments.. Quote: "Frank is literally 1 out of maybe 100 people who have reached this level in our world”s history." Frank's reply(Quote): "uhh more like 1 i a few millions. Lob you too bro" What? Humility? Not for enlightened folks! -

"Ego" or "Enlightenment"... As though they were separated. This is nothing but chasing an everlasting "enlightened ego". "I'm enlightened"... The irony behind this sentence is so glaringly obvious. No one will ever convince them otherwise, that's why they're deluded, utterly and totally convinced that they're not (since they're so enlightened of course), which deepens the irony to an almost sadness evoking degree. "My spiritual awakenings are the deepest, I'm more awoke than anybody, I've transcended every teacher and every teaching!" What else would you expect to hear from an enlightened ego? -
An episode about the importance of beauty and aesthetics - what is aesthetics?, why does it occur?, philosophy of aesthetics & art, aesthetics in psychedelic experiences, expression of aesthetic creativity as a divine faculty, etc. What is the relation between beauty and truth (seeing the universe as utter perfection, nature never makes aesthetic mistakes)

You have to admit though, there's something pretty damn fishy, something slightly dishonest and not very humble about saying "alright folks, I'm enlightened, ask me whatever you want". Naturally one would question this claim. The discussion was rather unnecessary, you're right. I'm somewhat guilty of that, too. -

Exactly @Arzack You wrote "there are many forms" (concepts/reality etc) and so forth, and now you're contradicting yourself by opposing "experiencing formlessness". You're still talking about a dualistic state of awareness?! -

Beyond form and formlessness, what is there? -

You're making a distinction between "feeling" and "not feeling"... To say that there's a "feeling" when you touch your leg as opposed to "no feeling" before or after you touched your leg is a dualistic state of awareness. Just saying. Same goes for saying "I'm enlightened since yesterday" as opposed to "I wasn't enlightened the day before". That's the point i was trying to make. A mystical experience is not the same as enlightened, at least relatively speaking. (I'm not trying to deny any of your experiences) -

Attempting to trigger people you think is constructive? Alright... -
Tim R replied to Arzack's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
But your "feeling" is a concept There's no feeling. There is no form, anywhere. -

That's neither helpful for you or anybody else, nor is it in accordance with our modus operandi on this forum. -

What you call "concepts, physical reality, etc." are nothing but concepts themselves and don't exist. Form doesn't exist because whatever form you think exists is just a formless concept projected on formlessness. -

@AcaciaConfusa This has nothing whatsoever to do with enlightenment. Make sure to at least build a theoretical foundation of what we're talking about. -
Tim R replied to Arzack's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's the exact opposite LOL Form is something you make up conceptually, all boundaries are illusionary, hence form doesn't actually exist. -

@Johnny5 Thanks mate. I'll make sure to check out Jed McKenna, don't know him yet. -
We say conventionally about something: "this is impossible!!" Now here's the joke: there can't be anything impossible, because it would be impossible!! Literally NOTHING is impossible... This just struck me... It might seem very obvious to some of you, but as you (should) know, nothing is ever obvious. The impossible can't be, because it would literally be impossible... That's so messed up, love it!

Don't worry mate, not very likely.. If you were at a point where this would actually be something plausible to happen, you wouldn't be afraid of it -

@Johnny5 Could you paste a link or something where this is explained? I'm not sure whether I understand correctly or not.. . -

I'd still be very careful with ultimative statements like "I'm enlightened, for real this time"... There's so much potential for delusion -

Spot on. When I realized this yesterday, the ramifications were the mind-bending material which made me roam through the living room for a while... -

Yes, one has to be careful not to turn this into a mere word game. But this goes for absolutely everything because all understanding is implicit. -

Yes, it's a very tautological say to thing that the impossible is impossible. Read very carefully and take it literally: The great revelation is: nothing in the universe which is, is something impossible, otherwise it wouldn't be, right? Right. Which means: everything in the universe that is, is something possible, otherwise it would also not be, right? Right. So, this means that the impossible doesn't exist, because it can't exist. By definition. It's impossible, how could it then exist. It couldn't. That's the revelation. Nothing in the universe could ever be something impossible. If you don't get it at this point, read it over and over and over till it clicks. I won't make another comment to explain. -

Did you get there naturally or have you used 5-MeO? -

What makes you so certain that it is permanent enlightenment (Nirvana?...) and not "merely" an awakening which might slowly fade? -
Tim R replied to Tim R's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I thought about wether this is a strange loop or not... I think it's safe to say that it isn't. To say that the impossible can't exist and the only thing that exists is the possible is nothing particularly loopy. It would get loopy if you'd confuse the idea of "everything is possible" with "everything is possible including the impossible". But since the impossible doesn't exist it doesn't loop back to the realm of "the possible" You see? -

No, you haven't understood. It is way simpler than that. To ask me to draw a triangle which is not a triangle (can you see how the question itself is meaningless?) 1. makes no sense whatsoever because it's contradicting itself 2. doesn't disprove my point My point is, that nothing is impossible. Why? Because the definition of "something impossible" is: that it can't exist (just like the triangle that you asked me to draw) Such a triangle obviously doesn't exist. because it can't exist. Anything which would be impossible could therefore not exist, ever. Which is the exact same thing as saying: nothing is impossible. Everything (and I literally mean everything) is possible, otherwise it wouldn't be. Which is also the exact same thing as saying: everything is possible.
