  1. 1. do the hardest unpleasantest most challenging things first thing in the morning preferably before anyone else gets up ... then continue by doing less hard tasks throughout the day ... do the absolute easiest thing before bed 2. do something hard before eating a meal ... we enjoy eating we don't enjoy hard tasks so doing the hard first will spur you to do it well knowing you have a nice meal to look forward to 3. commit to doing at least a couple of hard tasks every day or even just one when you have removed the backlog ... as long as the day's hard task is accomplished you can notch it up as a good day ... doing all this makes it easy for every day to be a good day
  2. in short, put mind aside and then god/awareness runs the show and it does a far better job than a finite machine ... it is how jesus could say, your will be done not mine
  3. the only mistake in life is lack of awareness problem is you are locked in to it and thus you do all the stuff you do commit to raise your awareness, this is the life's only freedom, if you don't do it then you continue to have no free will and are enslaved to impulse temptation judgement
  4. drop all worthless regret how i am not going to repeat
  5. my goal is 4-hr morning sits, nearly there, i do nothing with goal being no effort, when i attain no effort, i up the timer another 30 minutes, it goes much easier these warm 6 months of the year, cant report anything mystical or miraculous but i can say it is pretty much impossible for me to have a bad day
  6. mind is a great servant but a poor master, use it when needed but most are letting it run things 100% ... you are not a finite machine leo's latest video on ketamine touches on the default happiness that exists when mind is not operational ... this is the baseline state to reside in
  7. default ego position is fighter not lover, a recipe for misery depression negativity on top of which we are told that most folks are my enemy and i either take what's mine or get trodden on all this certainly doesn't fill one with warm fuzzy feelings towards one's fellow man to turn all this around takes some kind of an awakening
  8. bring finite mind to heel it is just a dog, teach it to be a good doggie you CAN teach an old dog new tricks don't banish mind, cherish it change its bias from ego to god then everything is good
  9. also bear in mind it is not merely a matter of who you are attracted to being trans would be like being born with no nose and feeling less than human ... oh to have a nose and feel a whole person ... sure you could live life without a nose but this would cause massive issues with confidence and acceptance if a child was born nose-less, no one would hesitate to allow the child who so wanted to have the procedure in order to remedy this gross disfigurement furthermore as i understand it a trans person will want to be their desired gender even if they live a completely solitary existence ... and i think this is true of most if not all of us - if we were required to live as the gender we don't identify with, life would be utterly unbearable
  10. love is observed by more consciousness more clarity more compassion more creativity more confidence more curiosity more courage more compassion more connectedness more child-like god has a love agenda for sure, that is what the scientists call evolution, all is well and is becoming more so
  11. love is more consciousness more clarity more compassion more creativity more confidence more curiosity more courage more compassion more connectedness more child-like this is my meditation goal
  12. how relaxed the body, how slow still silent subtle smooth soft the breath, how calm, clear, composed the brain is the only awakening i have known
  13. indeed conflict is ever apparent the god i see is not entirely impartial however it is more the conflict minimization agent it has a leaning towards love over lose, grace over the the grave and honor over horror
  14. maybe obvious but i hope i am not being naive or controversial to add sex is who society say i am ... based on among other things the binary designation given on my birth certificate gender is who i say i am and is by no means limited to the two sexes and is no one else's matter but my own up to this point in human history, sex has been what is all important ... from now on it seems gender will gain more and more prominence the question is, should you need to wait until adulthood to declare your gender and have that gender honored or at what age should you have that right
  15. egolessness is saying i am okay not waking up tomorrow because god has no attachment to this particular bag of bones and knowing this asking what have i done for the kingdom today
  16. find the pearl of great value then spend the rest of your life giving it away in the beginning you are seeing the extraordinary as ordinary the world is dull mundane boring at the end you are seeing the ordinary as extraordinary the world is beguiling wondrous spell-binding
  17. the question means, to what should i be responding to stimulus arises ... do i respond? so what things that take the time and trouble to make themselves noticed, should i give utmost attention and devotion and priority first consider, perhaps i should list all the things i ALLOW to grab my attention ... what am i deliberately allowing into my world this list will indicate that my responsibilities are indeed my choices and will be exactly equal to how i divide up the hours of the day so the question is the same as, show me your schedule
  18. either speaking is to kiss me or speaking is to kick me your approach reveals who you are rather than who i am
  19. 1. see that you are more than body-mind ... most won't realize this except via parroting of hearsay which is almost worthless ... takes dedicated toil to get this ... just this one purpose makes my life blissful, matters not whether i succeed or not ... i give every breath for the quest ... success is not in my hands but grace has and will open many doors so indeed it is good hands i am in 2. then having seen this enquire deeply into the question, what would god do
  20. this is insightful the practice of meditation is curative ... it heals suffering, wounds, triggers, trauma, addiction, dysfuction, neuroticism when these things show themselves, you accept them, honor them, send them packing ... if they return repeat and see them much weaker
  21. love this, hits home hard, thanks for sharing it keep on shining beautiful!
  22. anything by bernadette roberts or david hawkins, all their books i intend to keep reading over and over throughout my life
  23. it is priorities, i do me then i do thee everything is in my hands, i just need to follow through ... then to be in the world is just fun and games
