my take is, to act on behalf of body is not free will, it is body telling you this is free will and it is lying all it is doing is running its programs to maximise your survival and success and status free will is the admission i am not a body and what body's agenda is is obfuscation and deceit, keeping the housed user in bondage free will is to choose to recognise that this here is all made up and then take a stand against the body and in favor of the truth at root this entails dissolving the illusssssion: separation, sin, specialness, scarcity, sickness, suffering, satisfaction, solitude, sacrifice, self-determination mind is but a machine that keeps one fast asleep, it keep one in mindlessness, or as @Osaid says thinking is slipping away into 'not now' now, the thinking mind running life on one's assumed behalf with no input required from the user it doesn't have to be like that.
