  1. If life is so hard there's only one reason, I think: it's because of us. I feel like a life lived in literal tribes would be a lot easier... so yea, mainly it's society that causes this, which means it can also only be changed through it too.
  2. I feel like breathing exercises help a lot. Recently Ive been feeling drained too; however just running (for me) and simply being mindful of breath I was able to come up with ideas again (which is a sign of well-being for me).
  3. It's great that actualized culture is able to see through this sh*t...Im looking at you reddit
  4. Because everything around you is you. Wood, water, cooked animals (!), your fuckin smartphone, the light of your house, the trees, the floor you sit on... If that's not God what else would *God* be?
  5. some novels dedicate the entire plot on this question, haha. so it's pretty much impossible to answer

  8. @PepperBlossoms no one knows lol but this might serve: If then you do not make yourself equal to God, you cannot apprehend God; for like is known by like. Leap clear of all that is corporeal, and make yourself grown to a like expanse with that greatness which is beyond all measure; rise above all time and become eternal; then you will apprehend God. Think that for you too nothing is impossible; deem that you too are immortal, and that you are able to grasp all things in your thought, to know every craft and science; find your home in the haunts of every living creature; make yourself higher than all heights and lower than all depths; bring together in yourself all opposites of quality, heat and cold, dryness and fluidity; think that you are everywhere at once, on land, at sea, in heaven; think that you are not yet begotten, that you are in the womb, that you are young, that you are old, that you have died, that you are in the world beyond the grave; grasp in your thought all of this at once, all times and places, all substances and qualities and magnitudes together; then you can apprehend God. But if you shut up your soul in your body, and abase yourself, and say “I know nothing, I can do nothing; I am afraid of earth and sea, I cannot mount to heaven; I know not what I was, nor what I shall be,” then what have you to do with God? ~ Hermes Trismegistus
  9. i like the essence answer very clever.
  10. these questions are nicely thought out so i'm gonna answer them -- What is creativity to you? it's the expression of ideas that can't be done in mere language. it's a kind of witchcraft too in a way lol What fertilizer do you use to foster and allow for more creativity? What systems, what rules, what lack of rules, what tools, what skills, what info, what images, organizations? I like to collect pictures and info alike. not only aesthetically pleasing ones because that would be quite limiting but things that hold a nice energy to them, whether it's a pic or a song. I don't have rules, aside from having official music links and high quality images What have you noticed that destroys/hampers creativity? What killers, what systems, rules, lack of rules, tools, mindsets, info, images, organizations? Making art for the sake of nice opinions. That is what politics is for lol. What food you select at the grocery store, what clothes you wear, what words you use, how you say your words, how you walk, how you react, what you focus on, what questions you ask, what you paint where, where you put yourself and when, what combinations you put together and move around, what tools you use, what organizational method your thoughts are put together with, what partner you select, what reason you give for doing/wanting anything, how you do a task, how you reframe a situation, how you teach someone something, how you interact with anything like a person/bug/air particle, identity and perspective.... all can be within the realm of creativity. true Why even bother having creativity? Do you look for creativity and what exactly are you looking for? A world without creativity is like Covid without masks.... lol How does creativity or lack of it affect your mood, thoughts, drive? i'd say creativity cures me from depression and takes me away from negativity
  11. read/watch things that are really creative...be courageous about your art (well it's up to you how far you wanna take that but yea)...look at things you find beautiful because they would spark your intuition William S. Burroughs on Creativity Marina Abramovic: Creativity Is a State of Mind Werner Herzog on Creativity, Self-Reliance, and How to Make a Living Doing What You Love David Lynch on Creativity, Meditation, and Inspiration Björk on creativity as an ongoing experiment William Blake’s Most Beautiful Letter: A Searing Defense of the Imagination and the Creative Spirit
  12. Self mastery is the hardest thing in the world... acceptance of neurosis in a warm hug. Most self mastery stuff being peddled nowadays, in my view, are merely whistlin past the graveyard. Not deep enough.
  13. Reading (great in so many respects) A couple of projects around different topics (mostly philosophy and art, I actailly suck at analytic stuff) More learning Meditation/mindfulness Virtue Generally just enjoying the way I spend my time ;3

  15. I like the spiral dynamics model because it doesn't focus on individuals. Hence the oneupmanship is gone. I value it a lot too.
  16. @The_Alchemist Come on, why don't you make your own content.

  18. @PhilGR It's impossible for the ego to look at himself. It's a joke. Alan Watts also said it; the ego doesn't exist.
