I might be wrong, but I don’t think Middle Eastern Arabs hated Jews prior to Israel. So, the right to exist argument has flaws. All people can try to exist but must balance their survival with other peoples ideas and entitlement issues of what those are trying to survive as. Furthermore, I think the hatred is fanned by ego and with the motivating factor that both sides wants to be the sheriff in the Middle Eastern land, which is Isreal/Palestine, or make their own path forward . If anyone wants to entertain a relativistic perspective ,then, no one between Arabs and Jews are the rightful owner of that land, the point being that property right is something humans created. All land belongs to any nation with a strong army to defend it. That’s why many peoples went extinct over the centuries. The Arabs need to address the fact that Palestine/Isreal was Islamic for 400 years, until it wasn’t anymore, why? The west which claims to be pro Isreal needs to address why the Jews were offered lands lands like Palestine, magadascar, and Uganda and not a state in America? America could offer the Jews a state. Russia offered Jews an oblast as a friendly gesture and their friendship is dubious . A friend should take your interest into account. The UK should have anticipated that facilitating a Jewish state in the Middle East might not go down well with the people there. My point being, there is not one party whose at fault for the instability in the Middle East. I missed many factors which other people have elaborated in this thread. -
Unfortunately ,in that neighbourhoods are genocides and forced assimilation is common occurrences during the previous century. Kurds, Armenians, Greeks, Syrian Christians, Assyrians, African slavery on East Africa and sectarian violence between Shia and Sunni which might come close to genocidial have been going on in background of the Palestinian conflict and receive little attention in comparison to this conflict. The point being selective outrage and denying other atrocities. The war in Yemen is consider on of the worst humanitarian catastrophe, according to the UN. The point is not compare atrocities but if you claim that you care form humans you must try to stay consistent .I am open to evolve, change or adjust my take on Israel if evidence shows them being bad or whatever people are claiming them of being. However, It seems from my limited perspective that Isreal is more open to live among different perspective, as long as it is not a perspective which means sacrificing their survival. And yes, Isreal perspective have become more extreme, but a troublesome reaction to the terror attack was seeing pro palestian people abroad celebrating the attack in open free democratic countries, which is terrible publicity for your cause.

Is not this and other conflict very ego based? That land is considered special and extra worthy to die for must be a motivating factor to perpetuate the conflict. When people cry out about humanity, i can’t help to be sceptical because if humanity was a priority, both parties would actively look for a solution many years ago. Furthermore, all the outside stakeholders would be trying to de escalate violence instead of stoking it, which outsiders allies, and stakeholders from both parties don’t seems interested in doing. -
More and more people are giving praise for being wise, but I get a feeling of being an imposter because most of the ideas are mostly from your content. Personally, most of my negativ feeling are becoming experientially better and I have learned powerful techniques and coping mechanism from you which have showed results. Im actually exited about life now which feels great. Im very grateful for your service and contribution, take care and hope you get well. His messages resonate. Which spiral level would you estimate that he is on?

Leo says stuff that I don't always write down in some dairy. This is unfortunate because they sometimes evoke powerful images. One of the most powerful ones I can remember is from the Devil/Evil episode. However, there is one where Leo talks about a "family having a good time in an amusement park". And later, there's an incoming storm. While he's warning about the storm, the people respond with what is wrong with some fun. First off, if anyone knows which episode or context he said it I would appreciate it if you could direct me to it. Secondly, it would be nice if you would share some powerful verbal images from a teacher. The point of this thread is to share verbal images which made a minor or large impact on how you think or see the world. Thanks!

It seems plausible that he converted just because of the ban. If that's the case, then I'm one of the gullible who believed that converted genuinely. -

I thought it would interest some people in this forum. -

Most people are taller today than 100 years ago. @Heart of Space . People live longer and die less. Female, child and maternal mortality is down. Mortality, overall, is down. No one is denying intelligence hereditability, but it seems like you overemphasize it. -

If we look at IQ differences, we would find differences between whites in big cities and whites in the countryside. In a single country, you have differences, such as the American south and the north. Are those differences genetic or environmental? I think power is a central component of differences between people and regions. Capital cities usually have higher GDP than the rest of the country. What is that all about? Another point id like to make is that of home stadium advantage. In sports, you might have noticed that teams perform better with home support. Translate that sports metaphor for the larger society. If most of society's institutions favor your kind in housing, banking, courts, education, and employment. All that prejudice adds up to something affecting you. And extending the sports metaphor, that is why we have a lot of fights between different people. One group of people wants to extend their home team advantage by spreading their language, currency, trade practices, etc, in the name of democracy or fighting nazism, security, independence etc. However, in most cases are the motives bullshit, a convenient cover for advancing one group's survival motives. Ego wants to make a complicated issue simpler, rather than simplify it. -
Great video. Sums up why many African countries abstain or stay neutral in current European wars.

No one in the British public discourse has criticized the institution of monarchy. Even the anti-authoritarian Russel Brand was talking as he walked on eggshells not to upset conservatives and royalists. The English monarchy is equal to huge power and privilege, which is selfishness, which is devilry, which is evil, from my point of view. Standing to close to corruption makes some blind to recognize it. Down with babylon. -

So here in Northern Europe are we effected by the drought. Agriculture yields are effected by the drought. Energy prices is up and that is partly because of the weather. The dams aren’t generating much electricity. Still it isn’t as bad as some other places. skip to 4 mins in. I don’t have any better sources.

Great video, thanks for sharing. 40 min into the video and it clarifies a lot.

Decriminalisation is the way forward. At our current point doesn’t the market have enough matureness to handle legalisation. If Weed and alcohol would be legal, it better be distributed and sold in a government run store, which isn’t incentivised for profit. The Dutch model of coffee shops.

Now you! Start by chopping and frying vegetables, roughly 2-3 yellow onions 2 carrots 4 stalks celery Fry these on medium heat so that it does not burn. When the onion is transparent, you are pretty good at it. It should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you have come to this, add the garlic. Here you can have quite a few gaps. About 6-8 st. Maybe even more. Leave these in the pan for a few minutes only. If the garlic is burnt, it becomes quite bitter. This forms the basis of the pot and here it may be worth putting a little effort. Then pour this into a saucepan and bring to a boil. I usually pour on some water. But not more than what is needed so that there is not too much water in it. Then you start with the chicken. Preferably use thighs, but regular fillets also work. Cut into as large pieces as you want and salt and pepper. Fry so that they have a nice surface. However, they do not have to be cooked through because they will still boil later. Then you pour the chicken into the pot (add turkeybacon or pork bacon if you want). Dice the meat fry it and then add to the pot Feel free to pour about 2 dl white wine into the frying pan so that it heats up. Then pour it into the pot. Scrape out the frying pan so that you get the flavors that are there. If you do not have white wine, you can skip this. But instead do this with water then so that you get the flavors. Add a couple of dl cream, about a tablespoon of Dijon mustard and 2-4 dice with chicken broth. Season with tarragon and bay leaves. You can have thyme too, but I think it's better without. These measurements are a bit difficult and vary. But you balance acidity, sweetness, saltiness, umami with these. Start a little low and feel ahead. I usually let this boil for about an hour. But at least half an hour. You see when the chicken gets a good consistency. Ideally, however, the chicken should not boil Feel free to add chopped parsley to this if available served with rice with or potatoes
