  1. I think the reason most people dissect events like you describe is they lack the training and resources required to glimpse the grand construct in its entirety.
  2. By systemic law; the combination of components and the ways in which they interplay and operate at scale... create causally predetermined outcomes masked by apparently chaotic behavior in said system.
