  1. Best example that came to mind
  2. Not an advanced seeker or anything. But i have an answer for this. There is no amount of hours that you need and then you are enlightened. It's not a goal to achieve. Just try to meditate in everything you do all the time until this is your reality. Watch your thoughts and emotions all day long. Take the feeling of emptiness and make it larger. I don't believe that you will become enlightened if you meditate everyday for an hour for years but after your practice you forget all about it and return to your 'normal'
  3. You weight the 2 scenarios and you visualize them clearly. You are also aware of your feelings for each decision. You pick what feels best. I don't mean easy i mean what you know it is the right thing to do
  4. @zeroISinfinity i love animals but i don't want to take care of them
  5. If you have your own garden plant some vegetables. They will most likely have a higher vibrational frequency. Maybe i don't know much about the subject but i know what a real tomato should taste, like the tomatoes from the garden that my grandparents had. It's really a day and night difference from what you usually buy from a supermarket. Either do that or don't be cheap and buy the best quality food and spices. I'm sure you can feel it when something has a high vibrational frequency. Also the way you eat also plays also a big role. Appreciating your food and chewing slowly for example.
  6. Thanks for sharing. That's why i don't have pets
  7. @Call Me Whatever now hold that feeling exactly after you let go and make it bigger and bigger until you have it all the time. I'm also the furthest thing from a master but i know that this is something that works
  8. Yes i think they are. The hardest one i believe is grief but if they are enlightened masters np. They feel the same feelings as everyone else but they allow them to be and not get taken away by them because they are one with the source.
  9. I cut off all social media scrolling last week (fb and instagram). I am really glad i did that. It was very time consuming and i was hooked with the funny stuff. Everyone is addicted look around you with their fucking stories and shit like that. They lose all their free time to be on instagram and facebook. They are nice tools but almost noone is able to use them wisely because they are made to be addictive. I don't think the world is so much better with them growing so much in popularity but nobody can change that and we will see where this will lead us.
  10. Maybe the way you live changes for the worst. Who knows what you will do. I don't believe you will have an ambition for success or chase the same things as 'normal' people. I believe you need to balance these things out. What sounds difficult is to get enlightened but then face life as a game and play it to not let your life get ruined and not be nihilistic. Of cource it's easier if you are already successful and have money etc.
  11. Aging and having a boring future
  12. I remember reading a good book about chronic fatigue from deepak chopra focused on ayuverda
  13. I had to move to another country in a small city having lived most of my life in a big city. I still love the city that i left but i also experienced some of the things you mentioned. Moving to a small city definitely calmed me. I think the environment you live is very important for your psychology and loud noises continously are the worst. I would still prefer to go back to my city if i could but maybe this is because i grew up there. Maybe you prefer a quite place to live because you grew up in one.
  14. I first learned about this concept from a book called wisdom of the peaceful warrior.
  15. Not the same functionality but i use an app called yt mini. You watch an ad maybe one time a day or less but then it leaves you alone. You can minimize and lock your screen and make playlists but you can't read comments.
  16. Of course.. You scroll down to take your dose. You can lose many hours of your life doing that.
  17. @Elshaddai no the name of the author is stephen guise. While i don't exactly use his strategy both his books mini habits and then elastic habits gave me some aha moments, a way to think differently about habits. There is no working your way up you just adapt to your day working harder the days you can while always having a mini habit for the day that still counts as a success. I found the books a little repetitive but in my opinion they still worth a read. Dopamine detox is something i never tried but i also plan to in the future, i certainly need it.
  18. I wouldn't bother keeping friendships that are not real. If i don't like someone i cut them out of my life and that saves me energy and time. I prefer to have 1 or 2 close friends with a better relationship than to play it social because i'm afraid to be alone. Maybe you haven't found someone with some common ground to be able to connect.
  19. I found the book just breathe mastering breathwork from Dan Brulé really informative on the subject. There are stuff you can implement there.
