@hyruga i believe that instinct and ego are 2 separate things. The most enlightened person in the world that completely transcended the ego will still feel that fear. Most animals can't detach from the fear and observe it. Or maybe they can who knows Maybe there is an enlightened zebra out there -

Sure it's wrong to see it as a foe but at the same time is something that you need to get rid of. It just needs to be let go. -

@cetus this is really interesting. Is this what is called kundalini? I never read about it sorry if the question sounds stupid. Is there a way to know that the Amrita started flowing? A physical sensation or something like that? -

@mandyjw i don't disagree but i don't believe that it's exactly the same. But yeah i believe that a base line feeling is more important than just one or some profound psychedelic experiences. Still it's something that i want to experience one day. -

@Carl-Richard there is no possibility to try 5 meo in the near future. I want to know if there is a way to have at least a mini trip with my own supply. But other than that i also find it fascinating and want to know how this works. -

@aurum oh ok. Holotropic breath then? Is this the reason shamanic breathing has this effect? Does hyperventilation produce it? -

@Tim R thank you! This very interesting. Sounds a little complicated for me but maybe it's worth the research. -
I did it in 3 days full time as best as i could. But i took it seriously and did my best. I will probably do it again but for now i'm happy for the change that it brought to my life and the clarity.

What is time? We have day and night on repeat. We also have seasons. We are getting older. All this is something we experience. We had to call it something like everything we experience. We had to give names to things to communicate and plan our survival. Language was invented. We have history. We have advancement on all areas like technology. People die now and new are getting born. Everything is flowing but in our experience some things look like they stay the same. They too are changing but not at a pace than we can perceive. Each new experience leaves a remnant in memory. Memories are created always. The past is a memory. When we remember the past we are press play now and watch a video or listen to a narrative in the mind. This influences what will happen now. Things are getting created constantly. It's all a soup but for some reason we have a brain that can make reality seem solid. Reality is not solid. Like the frequencies we cannot hear there are other realities relative to the sensitivity of our perceptions. With a different pair of eyes i would not see a desk but something different. If this is true maybe other beings exist with different perceptions and bodies than a human. We cannot see them and maybe they cannot see us. Or they can. Maybe a bug cannot see us but we can see it. Being stuck to those pair of eyes and this brain is this what being in a dream means? Could it be that time is only true inside a dream? What happens if you stop dreaming? Maybe time stops existing. But you still have the senses you are still in the dream. Maybe then lucid dreaming starts. But why? Everything just is? Is it even possible to understand this with a brain? why? Leo says that it is possible to understand all of reality. Maybe i need some psychedelics or maybe not. Even if i understand everything what does this change? Is this evolution? Is this not just another dream? Sure it's good to be free of petty problems and feel connected. Why is understanding necessary? Why does it matter? Other than having a better life? Is there a purpose for the Self? Is this purpose not just another thought? And i'm getting lost again.

Of course they are. Maybe i haven't read most of the books from the list from authors that are known to me but i read other books from them in the past that are absolute gems. If you really like a book from the list look for other books from the same author that are not included in the list. You will not be disappointed. Of course there are also books that i feel are missing but the list is very solid and if you search for other books from the same authors you suddenly have 1000 books to read.

Or hell haha. Doesn't saying that everything is heaven also create the opposite that it's hell? -

If you are able to let go everything habitually, every thought, feeling and identification while being grounded in the feeling of stillness or inner body your mind will not be a problem anymore. In other words if you live only in the now. But do you know what living only in the now means? It means that your whole identity dissolves because is being born from the past or the future. You need to grow the feeling of stillness to the point that you can make a decision to live only in the now. You don't need years of training or maybe you do i don't know. It can only happen in the now. It's not my goal to sound like a smartass. I just happened to have an experience years ago because i was having a very hard time with my toxic parents. Try this as this is what got me there at least for a short time. Just read the power of now and immediately after that the new earth in one week and practice what you read all the time. The whole day, do your best. Each time you let something go by remembering you are the one that observes it should feel like a dopamine hit, a sudden rush of feel good energy. This is a small gap of no mind as Eckhart says. If you do it just one time then you know how to do it. Just continue letting go like there is no tomorrow. Do it all the time. This gap is getting larger. In the end you live in this gap. This joy and peace is always in the backround. The question is did you suffer enough to want to let this go? Maybe suffering is not necessary but it certainly makes it easier. If you have a perfect life why the hell would you want to see the ego for what it is and transcend it? You don't need to and honestly you don't have to. Enjoy the dream while you can but if the dream becomes a nightmare then it's probably time to wake up. I haven't tried this again but i plan to shortly. I'm working on my health first as i believe this has also a role to play. If you are fit and feeling healthy is a bit easier to do this. Or at least this is what i believe. It's not about the books it's about what the books are pointing to. But it's also about the books because they destroy many illusions. Just by reading them you will get it. It's really so simple. It's simple to be free of most unnecessary suffering and be peaceful. It's simple because i experienced it and i wasn't special in any way, not even a meditator. I did it because i realized that i didn't do anything other than seeing that my "I" was an illusion. Then energy and peace starts flowing. You realize what rest in peace really means. Once you do this then go deeper if you want with whatever practice you prefer. -

Just wait and things will change. You never know what will happen 2,3,5,10 years from now. You will look back and be happy that you didn't do something stupid back then.

@peqkno Yes i know what i could be doing, it's just that i resist doing it because it is hard and boring at the start That's a really good question! Thank you. The thing that gets me going some times is the creative power i will have in the future and the ability to share my creations with other people. Maybe i should focus more on this! My energy is alot better now but i still have other areas i should work on like sleeping early and working out. I'm sure that once i'll make those changes it will get easier. @Moon I'm actually a big fan of mini habits and i experimented with them. Mini habits work and are a powerful tool. However it's not exactly what i'm looking for right now. I don't want to just do the activity everyday, i want to crush it, become workaholic and enjoy it, whatever. Maybe i should drop this expectation i don't know... That's a good advice thank you very much!

I thought that maybe a way to motivate myself to do the work that needs to get done is to think of what my life will be like if i don't escape wage slavery. Is this helpful or is it better to think more positively about this?

Only if you are able to drink only one in the morning. Seriously drinking more cups in your day is not good for you. I used to drink alot of coffee in work but i regret it. It's still a drug if you cannot control it.
