This is a really good question. If something is trivial or at least i consider it trivial i let it go. If i know that even if i act or say something the other person won't even hear me or understand because he/she is stubborn or stupid or arrogant i let it go. Now if someone is getting bullied and you could do something about it then why not act? It seems like the right thing to do. I personally get triggered when i hear stupid shit, at work for example. If something they say is clearly stupid and i know this for a fact i will say what i must to say. I don't care if i get fired at this point. But sometimes these kind of decisions can be more complicated. Let's say you have a friend and your friend cheats in his/her relationship. Should you tell or not? Is the fact that it's your friend good enough reason to not let the person know? I concluded that you will take action as long as you are ok with the consequences. You are going to tell if you are ok with losing your friend. You will protect someone from bullying if you are ok with the possibility of a fight and so on.

I like to watch faces sometimes. 99% of the people have tensed face muscles while doing anything unless they are with other people and have a good time. It was sad to realize that this happens to me also sometimes. When i notice it i let the muscles relax. -
Working to put the right habits in place.. You can find your weak areas and work on them to improve them. Health habits come first. For example i can't go to sleep early. I try different things and nothing seems to work well enough. This is what i will focus on. I will find something that works eventually. When i find the solution for this i will be able to wake up early, have more energy and concentrate on being very productive, work on life purpose and find a way to escape wage slavery. It's a chain and everything starts with your health and energy. When you feel good you will do the activities that you fell drawn towards, develop skills reach goals and feel better about yourself. Then you can grow and develop your ego.

I was reading a book about meditation some years ago and it had some exercises for concentration. I don't remember the title of the book or the exercises exactly but one exercise it had to do with counting so yesterday i made my own and you can too. The exercise i came up with is Add 1+2+3....and so on. Every time you reach 5,10,15 etc subtract 1,2,3... and so on and continue doing this as long as you can. Hopefully with practice you can reach a higher number and then you can think of a rule to make it harder. Other exercise from the book was to listen to music with your fullest attention. Concentrate to a specific intrument in the song for example and then another and then all of them. I still haven't started exercising but this what i will do. -

@Danioover9000 so you are saying that a person which seeks enlightment will try to be suicidal in order to get enlightened? This doesn't seem like a very logical thing to do. If someone is already depressed and going through difficult times can use Eckhart's teachings and get free of the suffering. I see nothing bad about that. His books helped millions of people and being popular don't necessarily equal being worse than unpopular spiritual masters. Most of pop music for example is shit but that doesn't mean that there is no good pop music. The only reason he is popular is that he is changing countless of lives and raising the level of consciousness of the planet. Anyway i am not trying to convince you but i would like to know, if it is ok with you, what spiritual master you admire the most and what is the thing that makes him more spiritual than other teachers. I believe that some teachers just resonate more with different people while trying to teach the same things. They just use other words to create their pointers. -

@Danioover9000 it's not about being suicidal or about marketing. His books are great tools if you actually read them and apply them without judging them. It' s also silly to think that you can be enlightened later because now is the only time that exists. His books guide you to this realization. Have you read the new earth? If yes what is your opinion about the book? This book is powerful don't underestimate it, also very practical. -
I rarely like endings.. But i'm happy with this one. I read in a comment that the song came out 33 years before the series which is a cherry on top

Just stop being afraid to eat animal food sources. Continue being a vegan if you want but if you rarely want to eat some meat just eat it. Don't deny yourself some animal food all the time just because you have the identity of a vegan. Try to eat an egg again or some meat or fish as an experiment and notice how you feel. If you feel better then maybe it's better for your body to eat some of these things sometimes. Find what works for your body and try to not be dogmatic. I was a vegan for almost a year btw and i found out that i feel better with some meat here and there.

@Danioover9000 why do you believe that this should be the case? He never said in his books be suicidal first and then maybe you'll awaken. He says just the opposite, that this is possible for everyone right now. But it seems that some people expect a long journey and this is what they get. I don't think that what Eckhart teaches is the ultimate state one can reach but this changes everything. Some people i don't know don't find him fancy enough. But the new earth really exposes your ego just by reading it. It is possible to reach a state that you don't need to sit down and meditate because you meditate naturally all the time just because you are not getting distracted from ego anymore. Of course some work is needed to reach this state and to maintain it. And the work is to stay present by following the numerous techniques he mentions, to do that. -

It's a me Mario! Yes sometimes there are good dialogs in there -
@Eph75 great answer
-
@Eph75 i see. Yes this way it can be very helpful. Unfortunately what i mostly see when people are talking about spiral dynamics are categorization and labeling. A) this assumes that someone considers himself belonging to a higher stage than the one he talks to. This might be true but also delusional sometimes. Either way in order to communicate the way you described i think that ego must be held in place. If not can you really say that you are helping someone to grow? Maybe you should also ask yourself if you are really so advanced as you believe.

@Rilles anger is a high energy feeling. You can learn to steal its energy and use it to do the right things. Transmute it. Don't just lash out making things worse. That said i believe that is almost impossible to be angry if you are really non judgemental. When you can see clearly that a situation that is perceived as something that should make you angry is caused by automated egos you can't get angry. To not get angry at something and to see things clearly starts by seeing your own ego clearly. I haven't really studied spiral dynamics but i'm probably a mixture of colors. I believe that it's very easy for this model to become a hindrance for some people if they start seeing the world constantly through this filter. I just liked the question and wanted to answer it.

Most Christians believe whatever the bible says literally believe it or not. You say something and they don't agree let's say. They'll either burn you alive or start telling bible verses to you feeling they are or the right path and good people/christians unlike you the ignorant fuck. Most young people are not like this and are just adopting beliefs. They never questioned their faith or their fear of god or whatever in their entire life because they are lazy or stupid. -

@How to be wise the difference is that Eckhart Tolle would not try to overtake you. -

The untethered soul. I still haven't read it only a few chapters but it's just as good. The way he makes you see it is very unique. -

That sounds intense. I mean shamanic breathing is intense by itself. Is this safe though? -

@IamMystic maybe. The thing is that many people here would disagree with what you said. I can't know unless i try it who knows maybe in 10 years. Maybe i shouldn't but i want to know what this experience is like. -

@NorthNow sorry i didn't know that it was a random example. Of course you are right @Nahm i don't really know what this word means but my purpose was not to say something negative. I just wanted to point out how difficult it is for someone to say all these nice things when actually facing something very scary and horrible in their lives. These moments could lead to realizations of this kind or the opposite and that is a life full of misery, depression etc. without escape. -

The question is can you still say the same when you experience something horrible like the death of your child? -
Absolutely! My energy was extremely low and let's say from 1-10 with 10 being the best it was around 4-5. After making diet changes my energy now looks more like a 7-8 and this is huge. My mood also completely changed. There are alot of changes you can make but the most important i think is to eat as many fruits and vegetables as you can with every meal. It's so simple but also very hard to do at first when you start making this change.

I told my parents on the christmas table when i was 14 that i don't believe in god what i meant was that i don't have a religion and the reason for that was that i was a bookworm back then and was reading some nice conspiracy/spirituality books. Their reaction was heavy they couldn't believe it or accept it. They even called me names sometimes like unfaithful as though it is something that i should be ashamed of lol. With time they accepted it at least my father. They are not church persons but are mostly blue. It didn' t feel right for me since i was little and a book made me see this clearly. When an illusion shutters it just does. I didn't feel like pretending that i am Christian and continue doing the things that felt stupid for me at the time. Just be yourself give them some time to accept it and hopefully they will. That said i never said something like this to my grandma for example she would have a heart attack. That said again 2 years later i tried to become a christian seriously to see what is like because of a friend that transformed himself by going to a cult like church. I was reading the bible and had some non dual experiences because of the trying to be as loving as i could. The bible is a great book. I went one time to this church and freaked the fuck out. My friend's jaw was shaking and people there were speaking in 'tongues'. I never went there again of course. By reading the bible i had the idea that if jesus said to love everyone then maybe i had to love the devil himself. I told about this to my friend and he said to me something like the devil is the enemy. At that point i knew that 99% of Christians are extremely close minded and dropped it for good.

Haha nice. I started turning the water to cold every time a while ago and i noticed that it's possible to detach from the coldness and make it a little easier. I think it's possible to get some seconds of no thought while you experience the shock from the cold water.
