  1. You're talking as if fear is something objective that exists out in the world like a gate or something that I should go through, but it's not like that. Fear is all about your inner psyche and how you project it out onto the world. That's why not everyone fears the same things. So it's a completely subjective experience that has everything to do with you. And yes, there is another way to not fear things, it's called awareness. If you have consistent high levels of awareness, there will be no fear. Because fear is a lie that you tell yourself and believe. If you are aware enough to see the lies, they will have no power over you. And that applies to attachment as well because attachment is the other side of the coin of fear.
  2. Location is a relative notion. For me to determine the location of something, I need to create a frame of reference to contrast it to. For me to locate something, I need to isolate it from everything else, which simply cannot happen. There is only one thing that I can't separate from itself.
  3. The thing is that you're prioritizing the word of an authority that has no connection whatsoever to your inner world, over your word. But only you can know your desires and emotions.
  4. Well, I can't locate form. So basically, yes.
  5. There is fear for the body and fear for the ego-mind. If I remove the ego-mind, I will become formless, even if fear for the body occurs. I don't need to kill the body to be formless because the body is in fact formless, since form = formlessness. It's only the limitations of the ego-mind that creates unnecessary fear. The ego-mind is always trying to maintain itself in a rigid form, and that's the problem. If there was no ego-mind, I wouldn't be here. But I am here because I think I am.
  6. @Someone here Can you guarantee me the reward I want? Nice story you spinned there, but only if the whole fear and attachment thing was up to me.
  7. I'm a devil and I don't know anything.
  8. @Someone here Not superman, just unaffected by anything. Invincible.
  9. They are stored in the present moment and you imagine them directly into your direct experience and label them "memories from the past" instead of just thoughts in the now.
  10. @The0Self Well, honestly, I myself still don't have enough clarity on that. And I'm not sure I want enlightenment anymore, but it seems inevitable nonetheless. What I meant by no thoughts is actually more about surrender/no-resistance/fearlessness than it's about the thoughts themselves. I suppose if one can maintain certain levels of awareness all the time, fear should disappear forever. Then again, why isn't this the case already? Why do we experience fear? And why is it so hard to transcend? Even for people like Sadhguru who are supposed to be enlightened, I guess they won't be able to pass this test. If you just change a few things about their lifestyle they will probably return back to ego and fear. So I'm not sure enlightenment is a realistic goal anymore. Or if it is, then there's no coming back to the human world. It seems like literal insanity and loss of mind.
  11. I personally have only heard stories of the paranormal. Never witnessed any by myself, even though I was able to heal my back pain by myself. Maybe it was just a lucky shot.
  12. It's not even that. It's forgetting that you are or have ever been a human. It's the demolition of every last bit of the constructed self until there's nothing left. No beliefs and no thoughts. Just 100% complete total absolute being with no devils behind the scenes disturbing that flow.
  13. What's with the straw-man these days? Anywho, don't believe anything you see on the internet. And don't believe 50% of the things you see or hear in real life.
  14. You used to talk from a position of "truth". That's very different.
  15. @Shin You're trying to be clever and shortcut your way there, but it doesn't work like that. I've tried that many times and it didn't work. I let go of everything I could, but then something "bad" happens and fear kicks in once again. I don't want to experience fear. Enlightenment should eradicate all fear. Once you're there, I will listen to you. Right now you're bullshitting yourself and others. @mandyjw It could mean talking like a dolphin. That's not my concern. All I know is that I am full of fears and you're full of fears, and that all of this nice ways of talking about enlightenment are BS that would break at the first challenge.
  16. Let go of every last attachment, including language.
  17. You can non-duality your way out of everything. That doesn't mean you have everything figured out. What you're talking about is just a realization of one's true nature. And it doesn't mean you're enlightened. It means you're self-realized. Self-realization is a piece of cake. Enlightenment isn't.
  18. @mandyjw It's much easier to admit that I am not enlightened and that I don't deserve that title yet. The word "enlightenment" exists for a reason. Otherwise, anything anyone says won't mean anything. But no, enlightenment refers to a certain mode of being that is not accessible by most humans. And it's pointless to claim otherwise. If you don't feel like that goal is your calling, then by no means you should force yourself to chase it. To say things about it doesn't mean you have it. It means you don't know what you're talking about.
  19. Yes, you feel. Loved the quote marks. There's no need to do anything. .. I'll stop here for the sake of not becoming a cringe, and I'll try to be more serious. Collision is not a value to adopt. It is what's actually happening out there in the world due to our inherent differences. If we were all the same, there would be no collision because of the plentiness of resources. If our resources were limited, there would be collision regardless of our differences. So we have two very fundamental problems: resources and differences. Once we're over these issues (by any means), all conflict will be resolved for good. Or at least that's what I think.
  20. I should mention that a lot of people claim enlightenment when they're in fact deluding themselves. Enlightenment is what I was describing, and it is incredibly difficult to achieve. A lot of people think they have conquered fear for good, but when you test them you will find that they're full of fears and attachments. It's also important to mention that by no means I am claiming enlightenment. I am still a pitiful fearful human being with a stupid deluded closed-mind. Full openness requires literally insane amount of courage. That's full enlightenment.
  21. Nothing is more important than any other thing. If you allow freedom of speech, you will offend people, guaranteed. And if you don't, you will suppress people, guaranteed. Either way, some people's emotions will always get hurt, and in turn that harm will eventually become physical violence. But it goes deeper than just which one is more important. Here (stage Green) we're assuming that the life of every human being is precious and should not be wasted regardless of how toxic and harmful they are to others. So we're favoring human rights of survival against the quality of life of each one individual. We could have instead decided to execute every malicious human being according to a certain standard for the sake of a better society, but that would involve global wars. So in the end it seems like doesn't matter what we do, there's a certain amount of conflict that is always going to happen. Right now we're experiencing it on a prolonged period of time with a few mildly acute episodes every now and then, instead of just one big acute episode that settles all our differences once and for all. So, it will happen eventually. We will get along. But it will take time.
  22. I did some of those before when I was wallowing and wandering in the dark ages. Now I only have Facebook and it's close to becoming obsolete.
  23. @levani It feels like you have created this view about meditation that it's some kind of evil dangerous monster that is coming to rape you or something. Just so you know, you don't have to do it. No one is forcing you to sit down and meditate, and most probably no one ever will. If, on the other hand, you're interested in this particular practice, you can research it in full depth as long as you have a keyboard and a hand. Understand the basic definition of meditation, and that it, essentially, is nothing but observation. For me personally, I have reached a point where I can meditate on the fly, and it takes no effort for me at all. I don't do formal meditation anymore, except very rarely. I just observe things, mostly inwards, and try to be objective. That's the whole thing for me.
