  1. @Rilles I didn't say that prostitution or sex would solve rape or crime entirely. Rape and murder have more than one cause. Lack of sex is merely one cause. And why should anyone go through the process of attracting someone? This is one of society's blindspots. The least attractive don't get to have sex? Why? They're less than others? What an injustice! Everyone should be able to have sex regularly. Or, the most attractive and the ordinary will have to endure the results, which is what happens anyway.
  2. Did it ever stop existing? In the way that it is a main driver for why people wake up in the morning and go to work. Everyone having sex whenever they need to without much struggle.
  3. If you can have sex or a regular basis, rape will be a lot less likely. Again, we are not talking about ordinary, well-raised, well-educated people. It's not the same for everyone. But for the ones who would possibly commit rape it could reduce their urges and in a way cure them. It's not free sex. Prostitutes get paid for their work. Think about it from a human's perspective who needs money to survive.
  4. We are not talking about ordinary, well-raised, well-educated people. I think the reason for this struggle is that you can hardly relate to what that's like. I am not the best at demonstrating these connections but I can see them clearly. Maybe someone else who is more articulate than me can join in and illustrate. Sex is essential, not prostitution. Prostitution is a manifestation of a society that is not fulfilling the sexual need of its individuals efficiently.
  5. @Rilles Sexual orientation is a different thing. Maybe she likes it rough too. I think that you're approaching this issue merely from an ordinary male's perspective, not an ordinary female's perspective or a male who like being submissive in sex.
  6. I mean it should make sense to you unless you don't experience sexual urges. It's not physics but simply in the human nature. Well, society has evolved enormously over the past decades. Sex is getting easier and more at reach for a lot more people than before. Plus, porn and sex toys play a certain role in removing the urges even if only partially or temporarily. Observation is the utmost evidence. You have to take into account everything that has changed about our relationship towards sex and how suppressed it was before. It's similar to poverty and theft. The less poor people are the less likely they will steal. Maybe for you it's not an essential need, but for most people it is.
  7. God is close to everyone equally, but not everyone is as close. It's very simple.
  8. The whole point of prostitution is that you wouldn't need to do that. It's not just women. Male prostitutes are included. And well, maybe blowing a 70 year old is not their favourite thing but that's their job. They gotta survive after all.
  9. @commie It's my theory but I would be interested in any data whether supporting or opposing. If you have a bunch of people who aren't able to have sex for whatever reasons, the sex drive won't go away but rather will get distorted and turn into something else. It's energy after all. If you don't use it, it will still be there and then it will get accumulated and eventually manifest pathologically. Suppression leads to explosion. I believe even homosexuality is partially created by this. Also, prostitution is the creation of society, yet it is one of the most judged and shamed creations. The ultimate hypocrisy. One way to look at it is as a side effect of the social structure. Since society values the best survivors the most, the least survivors will not be able to fit in. They are simply not accepted or appreciated for who they are. So they do what they can. Some of them don't know a lot so they become prostitutes or thiefs or criminals. Some others find these paths difficult so they commit suicide. And some others become mentally ill. And it's usually not even their problem. They're usually born in poor families and get poor upbringing if any. A lot of them are orphans so it's only logical that they won't know a lot. So they're the real victims here, and yet they're judged and blamed even more! I hope that was elaborate enough. Would be glad to hear your feedback and/or perspective.
  10. Since death is an illusion, fearing death is also an illusion. And trying to run away from an illusion is a deeper illusion. The less layers of illusion there are the closer you are to God. Embracing death brings us closer to God because it sheds one of those layers away. Prostitutes provide an essential need for others, which would otherwise manifest in multiple problematic ways such as rape and theft and murder. In fact, they're doing a hard job since they take whatever comes to them. They don't differentiate between beautiful or ugly, rich or poor, famous or a bum, etc... They accept everyone. That's so Godlike. On the other hand, a Rolex watches seller would not do business with you if you don't meet certain criteria. And their services aren't even necessary for your survival. In fact, they would also trick you and manipulate you using all sorts of ways to take your money. They would create advertisements to give you a false sense of insecurity about yourself for not buying their products so that you feel better about yourself if you buy them. They teach people on a subconscious level to take pride and that creates ego which creates most of our problems which then some prostitutes have to deal with.
  11. Thanks. That makes a lot of sense to me.
  12. "An actual object" is a concept. Taking compliments and enjoying them also objectifieses us. Poor little humans. I dunno.
  13. @Someone here what are you talking about? I wanted to hear your perspective on why I or anyone else as 'grown ass men' should not be watching porn anymore. I didn't intend to create a debate. I simply asked a question. Thank you for destroying the illusion
  14. How are you gonna commit to your blonde wife with millions of other blondes out there? If she's wise enough to marry you in the first place lol jk
  15. I'm not pro or against, but seriously why?
  16. 99% of males, and a less percentage of females. And a lot of them demonize porn and tell others to quit. Only if they could lead by example the whole industry would have collapsed ages ago lol. At least some people are being honest about it. There's no shame in living life.
  17. @mandyjw Let's put it this way, people who are the most afraid of death are the furthest from God. Gathering money is one of the most obvious examples of fearing death.
  18. @Someone here good luck!
  19. Prostitution is the least deluded field of work out of the ones mentioned. At least it deals with one of life's necessities. I'm not talking about porn though, just prostitution. People that live to fulfil the essential needs in life are the closest to God. They're the basis of everything else. And everything else would be delusion built on the hard-work of the ones below.
  20. The main issue with her is still not resolved. She feels shame, which is the same thing that pushed her into porn in the first place, only this time in another disguise. She never got over her care for what other people think of her. And now she's going on public demonstrating her naked psyche. She needs enlightenment.
  21. @Someone here No. All I'm saying is that having unexamined biases will most likely lead to regrets. Of course, it's your life after all.
