I would say the whole thread has a similar frequency tbh

Being nice is a collection of attributes. Quality of your intentions, empathy skills, communication skills, your EQ, integrity
Politeness is one of them but it's barely a start
Being nice is actually pretty rare, the qualities of it require pretty high development

Tag: productivity
The intent of productivity is incredibly key because that's what you're creating
Trying to be productive just to be productive is a trap because you could just be meaninglessly being productive
You gotta focus on the actual goal/outcome
Productivity is just an output

Goal-setting is a bit of an art and skill. there is a bit of unique processes that goes into it

I think generally therapists are for emotional issues. Like you need emotional support, or need to learn some tools, you have a specific mental health condition or need insight into something
Some say that therapy is for those who are struggling and trying to get baseline
And others say coaching is for people who have more personal development type issues. Like career, self actualization work, skill development, mindfulness
Though I'm sure even if you don't have a tough mental health issue you're trying to work out therapy can be useful to. I know therapy could even be used for regular development for mastering your emotions.
There's also therapists who also do life coaching work. Maybe that suits your style
I also wanna note that sometimes finding a good fit takes time. I prefer now to do a ton of discovery calls and see which one resonates with me most beforehand
What are you looking for from therapy exactly? That might be a good place to start

things that have brought tremendous value to my life without realizing
- good relationships with others. happiness and value is unmatched
- random courses that i took and interacted with. great courses are so goated
- courses that have tons of speakers that come and provide value. i learned a lot about the new insights in an industry
- finishing a book completely (with good notes). these structured my psyche still to this day
- random interactive books that i completed and took action on. built a brand from an interactive book
- extracting and saving insights properly from videos. don't have to waste time on re-reading things
- "scammer" type business courses. some were actually legit. i got actionable practical advice
- focusing on 1-2 things at a time until completion even if it's unoptimal=
CODE
- Capture: Keep what resonates & Matters
- Organize: Save for future action
- Distill: Boil Down & find the essence
- Express: show and share your best work
=
remember to keep a *clear* intent in mind. a clear intent is very powerful

I agree with that
Just be careful that you don't let some people cloud your vision to like real social issues
It'd be like saying you continue to fight for segregation in the 60s because a sect of the movement wanted black people to have the power over white people

Just stand up to someone when someone hates on men and ull be fine
And also stand up for women's rights, lgtbq, minority rights just the same ?

Dude what are you reading

@UnbornTao it's incredibly impressive too. With the corruption and lack of development at that time and still those geniuses existed? Christ

In all seriousness, though, it's not these kids' fault. The education-system is doing this to us. It's creating a worse world for men, by indoctrinating students with man-hate.
If anyone here is an investigative journalist, please, look into this. It would be very helpful.
It's the 2020s social movements, which is messy
The 1860s and 1960s ones were even more messy. The 1860s was a literal war and the 1960s one had lots of radical sects and lots of killings
At it's core all of these movements are progress. They pointing out real issues people go through. There are some excesses though, and a lot of those excesses I agree with you on
Those excesses that you dislike are not the core nor the major part of these shifts
It'll blowover and end in pure progress ?
Honestly, in the next 10y, regarding the man hating thing, i don't think will even be a thing. And most women are chill I wouldn't even worry about it now even

A lot of advice is inapplicable for sure
You kind of need to mold your own path based off your own life and the advice that's out there. It's a very individual process
What's great for someone can actually be very horrible for someone else
-

You're not going to do anything with it anyways until you fix this.
People look for help when they're stuck, it's better to try to find the root cause and go from there. 'Just do it' has its place but it's not fully applicable

For sure, I think that's the problem with racism actually
People group together a diverse set of people and singularly characterize them as one
-
If anyone's interested in learning about racism toward indian people in the west, I found this creator showcasing some of its manifestations. Its pretty normalized and casual might be pretty enlightening
But ya pretty well made video - Just thought I'd share

You can't have too much all at once
You can do a lot , you can get far
But progress is slow
And you need focus
It's better to work hard, and gradually build

systems
"Systems and workflows are the lifeblood of any sustainable endeavors. I provide my clients with effective, proven workflows, project management systems, my go-to platform/app recommendations, self-evaluation systems"
what are systems and models?
why i am so perplexed by systems and theory?
i think it's because i've been too focused on individual insights without noticing that a lot of insights are actually within a complex set of ideas and thoughts
single insights individually have a certain set of value but often i notice i'm not noticing the value of the system itself
system:
- holistic understanding or theory
- well oiled machines
- more built for consistency but can lead to innovation
insight:
- captures important areas
- more conducive to innovation
-
I actually had a very similar insight while on shrooms
I noticed my social anxiety was just anxiety and I needed to feel the fear
-
They deserve it. Seems like the country is trying to distance itself from colonization
I read recently that Britain stole $50 trillion during their rule in India lmao
