  1. Hey with that logic you should rant against the patriarchy. There are *many* male incel shooters that hated women.
  2. @Romanov gotcha. he is tricking the public to a good extent though >the 2017 Trump tax law: Was skewed to the rich. Households with incomes in the top 1 percent will receive an average tax cut of more than $60,000 in 2025, compared to an average tax cut of less than $500 for households in the bottom 60 percent, according to the Tax Policy Center (TPC).[1] As a share of after-tax income, tax cuts at the top — for both households in the top 1 percent and the top 5 percent — are more than triple the total value of the tax cuts received for people with incomes in the bottom 60 percent. https://www.cbpp.org/research/federal-tax/the-2017-trump-tax-law-was-skewed-to-the-rich-expensive-and-failed-to-deliver bottom 20% received an average of $80 in tax cuts
  3. how is trump populist? he's big on tax cuts for the wealthy, supports corporate, is anti-union, doesn't care about social programs (repeals them too) or social issues
  4. So basically... republican? (Just jokes 😭)
  5. What did you feel it was lacking?
  6. not sure about the specifics here, but one thing i learned is that most philosophies have their place in some shape or form. in some contexts, a philosophy might be good in extremes, some contexts none at all, and other contexts somewhere in between
  7. Isnt this moreso a trap of stage green rather than green being bad inherently. I think Green can be integrated with healthy orange to my knowledge
  8. Another thing I thought of was that there many factors that contribute, outside of just your age. Things like age, prior foundation, self esteem, mindset, strategy, mental and physical health foundations, # of responsibilities etc. So while I do think age is a factor, if you optimize other areas you can still make extremely significant progress in building skills. I don't think it's as big of an issue if the rest is optimized well Also consider that while elite performers do experience declines, consider that when they decline their skill efficacy may be moving from maybe the top .00001% -> .001% over 10 years
  9. I think to some extent yes, but you have a lot in your control still. People still learn new things when they're older. I know people who first start med school in their mid 30s. Or people pick up weightlifting in their 40s. My dad picked up yoga at 50 and hes quite good at many of the poses and theory (and he was pretty unathletic before). Majority of it is a limiting belief imo
  10. damn. that's some good questioning, nice one
  11. Ultimately you need a clear purpose for consumption - bc the consuming aspect is just a part of manifesting that goal Otherwise you are down a consumption rabbit hole that doesn't have much meaning Clarifying your goals and values might help
  12. I think I'm using the memory function wrong. I was calculating my calories and for a week and when I looked at what got saved in my memory there was a dozen like "user has eaten 100g of chicken for breakfast" "user has added olive oil and oregano to chicken" 😂 😂 i'm sure it has good function when used well though lol
  13. These are more structure related and not the techniques itself but, One point could be to continously challenging yourself to become more intelligent. Pushing your ideas, theories, letting go of pet theories for better ones, never getting complacent Also to surround yourself with people that are very intelligent. I think learning from others happens passively when surrounded by other smart people
  14. Admittedly i did not watch it, but the "control any bitch" in the thumbnail has me verrry sus lol
  15. Yk sometimes that's valid. Godspeed
  16. What field do you work in? Can you get a work visa to another country?
  17. Those studies sample size are for average people, not the world's highest performers. If the sample size of those studies was only the top .000001% I'm sure the outcome would be different But yeah I agree regardless, I wasn't implying pure deep work for 18 hours
  18. elon is probably neurodivergent, maybe some type of high-functioning autism? i think he works like 18h/day like almost everyday. the exact details are in his biography. i dont think you could replicate in a healthy way nor do you even need that i think you could probably glean some positive aspects from him, like having a noble purpose, working hard & being efficient, and maybe some character traits in this area. His ethics obviously not anymore
  19. I also resonate with elon musk in some aspects. Things like his work ethic and his business intelligence Politically wise not so much lol. Maybe also ethically too
  20. Well, if you were to theorize, what generally goes into: > succeeding, financially and career-wise Like generally, what do people who succeed do, practically
  21. Yeah including is important. Leo does talk about spending years integrating before transcending though
  22. I love how the right wing whines and whines about dei hires and then they simultaneously hire based off loyalty and not efficacy lmao
  23. @Hardkill your brain is in panic mode breathe brother. your life will actually not change much regardless of which establishment
  24. Probably not this extreme, but he will for sure push a decent amount of regressive policies
