  1. Shouldn't this question be about empathy not ethics? If you have appropriate empathy, it would tell you that this action is probably not good to engage in. It seems to be a lack of emotional awareness/intelligence to engage in that behavior (for whatever reason. Lack of development, pain, suffering, some form of unconsciousness) Edit: but on second thought, ethics is the right topic. Empathy informs ethics
  2. lol i had all 3 of his exact fucking arguments when i was younger lol. hyper scientifically minded nothing would have convinced me otherwise. it took very extraneous conditions for that to be dismantled Bias is strong not saying that your dad's bias is/was and desire to argue/be right are strong as mine were though. now diet being tied with health conditions is now coming into science. that is definietely refutable with science
  3. Lots of bickering and conflicts here. Not a fan tbhh What if we could come together and talk it out. I think that could solve some issues
  4. This. I think people need to reread his initial Q This is a massive issue societally for many men Men need help here Im not talking about creating unethical systems as a response to the issue. I mean more awareness, support and solutions
  5. Kinks are related to suppressed trauma
  6. maybe but at the bare minimum schools needs to teach social skills, confidence skills and at least some relational skills with women
  7. @Harlen Kelly I'm not talking about absolute sense , I'm talking about relative.. my impression of what you said was that certain characteristics are bad and "less" The way I see it currently is they don't make you less for having those traits, as they are wounds that we inherited So my preferred way of integration is through love and acceptance of those negative traits and seeing its humanity As opposed to demonizing certain traits in favor of other traits. Because this can lead to self-hate, denial and shadow aspects I agree there are negative consequences to certain behaviors, but theres a distinction when you judge those parts. I may be missing something tho and apologies if I came off too ranty
  8. There's nothing wrong with being that, we all go through that stuff Part of doing that is owning the opposite side. Transcending is best done through self love not through self denial
  9. usually people who are saying insults say they are joking in an effort to not take responsibility for their behavior
  10. it wont solve the core issue of the relationship, not having sex. if u dont feel it in your gut i wouldnt do it at all ^ this... it's just the best way he knows how at his level of development. if he knew other methods, was more developed, healed and conscious, he'd do better.
  11. Leos teachings actually helped aid me into letting go of my suicidal ideologies. Healing through consciousness, a strong vision, a self actualized future really gave me hope and progress in my life. Thank you leo
  12. honestly it's really impressive. i marvel at the slow progression over many years. dedicated to his craft he is
  13. is it ocd? its not a big deal especially since you guys were so young..
  14. Ya this.. I know this first hand. Tho it doesn't have to be LP persay. I think a lack of goals in general can cause this struggle
  15. @Carl-Richard ty
  16. @Leo Gura the advice is good but I think something rsd missed is that I think that acting attractive is diff than being attractive. Like it's an identity shift almost. U don't put on a front, it's just who you are. An attractive human being. It takes character shift, healing, self esteem changes, core belief changes and also an orientation with your highest self Like I think this work is the core and then game is techniques that help you actualize the identity Or I think u can also take a spiritual work perspective and it helps see through your weaknesses in game with awareness. Shining the light on your ego as it dissolves.
  17. These are ad homimens if I'm not mistaken What @Forestluv said would be strawmans https://literarydevices.net/ad-hominem/ https://examples.yourdictionary.com/straw-man-fallacy-examples.html ad hominems are attacks on character and strawmans are arguing a differennt argument than the argument at hand another one i know is appeals to authority. which is when you give some body absolute truth of wisdom. like giving science the absolute say because they are "experts" i think logical fallacies are super important to know because they will help you see the faultiness of people's arguements and speech
