  1. Can somebody prove 1=0= infinity ?
  2. Yeah, I agree with this point whole heartedly ?
  3. Yes, I am moving towards that path. What we experience is the reality, atleast in that moment.
  4. Still it's a perception that there is no end. That too arises while we are in this limited individual being of consciousness, even if we are enlightened and merged with a higher consciousness. What if you have not imagined every possible thing? What if God is fooling you or myself by making you or me experience higher dimensions of reality and making you fall into a trap of satisfaction, so that it seems to be the limit or the unlimited?
  5. Thank you, this gives me more clarity. But I disagree that all this I have created, just so that we can all as individuals merge with consciousness and restart the cycle, I think with each cycle there is something happening, something we cannot comprehend yet. Something that if we know now, we will no longer want to know as an individual self and thus destroys the purpose of this cycle.
  6. Is there nothing other than God ? Even if you had experienced that God is everything, why do you believe what you experience is the ultimate reality? An individual human being experiences this life and believes this is what reality is but he also imagines other things that may or may not be a reality. Why not the same with an individual God ?
  7. What you are saying is correct, that's nature's design ( for now ). People of one gender are always attracted to the opposite gender with opposite qualities. That's because it assists in survival. If I know cooking very well, and you are better at hunting but don't know to cook, we both have a higher chance for survival together. But survival doesn't matter nowadays. We can easily survive even if we are not married. That's why the ways of nature are changing. Some people feel being with people with the same thoughts and feelings can discover more together while some people feel the opposite. That's why we find people in this forum with both opinions. It's natural. The more conscious we are, the more we can twist nature over time.
  8. Yeah, the more compatible, the better, for both. That's what astrology tried to do, but seems to have failed miserably. Looks mattered a lot when we were less conscious, driven by our visual senses confusing beauty with health and well being or some thing else. Nature makes mistakes sometimes. But now we are more consciousness than our past self and we can definitely look for better traits. And even if we are driven by our animalistic nature ( blame nature) and looks and a sexy body is what we want, we have unlimited porn. Still, it is a step towards the opposite of what nature wants from us.
  9. Yeah, I am tired of the video game analogy, it works very well for people who are new to spirituality and facing difficulty in understanding it ( one of the traits of a video game character ? ), but once you dig deeper and relate everything in a video game to real life, it becomes a complete mess ) Dreaming is a better analogy, you cannot control much of things happening in your dream ( although to some extent, not completely ), in the same way you cannot control what's happening here, but if you wake up a bit you will realize that it's all a funny dream, but only to go back into the dream. Once you wake up completely, you MAY never come back here. Still, it never equals the actual experience. This world has limitations. Dreams have a purpose and so do this dream of life. That's what I believe.
  10. To enjoy the moment. To make the body release happy hormones so that we feel better. It is there so that you you can still be happy even if you were are not able to find a partner and reproduce, even if you are so depressed that you want to end your life etc. It's a part of life. It's not the whole life. It helps you not to be gloomy even if you are not successful. It's a part of evolution. Do bacterias dance? No, they can't. Do human beings dance ? Yes, we do because we can. Do we always dance? No. This is the point in dancing. It helps in the survival process. Now, what I ask is, what is the purpose of evolution and survival? There can be a purpose, there cannot be. Nobody knows for sure. Please help me understand if I haven't. I am very very open minded.
  11. Being selective is a personal trait defined by our harmones and genes, I believe. That affects the survival process as well, the more selective you are, the better the child you will produce. But that part is derived from the animals we have evolved from from. Now, since we have a higher part of consciousness, that is fighting with our survival instincts, we should learn to look at the world beyond men and women, leading to a more balanced and universal world, and that in turn will help the entire human race become more conscious naturally, over the course of time.
  12. In my opinion, the whole concept of gods and prayers of all religions are there for two main purposes: 1) In materialistic point of view, to give you super confidence and energy by faith both physically and mentally ( which is recently explained by placebo effect and psychology studies ). No , God doesn't hear you. You are hearing yourself. 2) In spiritual point of view, to remind people that there is a higher form of consciousness, and not to forget it and get completely directed towards material life. Also, gives you clues to get a taste of the higher consciousness yourself. All these are created by Human beings who have experienced such higher state and wants people in the future also to experience it. ( For some unknown purpose or no purpose at all, I don't know, nobody in this timeline knows, I assume )
  13. What do you think is the point of evolution, then ? Is it nature trying to find its own nature? Or is it an open ended question for which no answer has been found yet ( not even by awakening)?
  14. @James123 , is it necessary that I am God only if I experience it ? I don't know anything, I am giving you ideas so that you can ponder about them and have more insights. Because you and I should work together for my own good. ( And sorry for the funny repeating quotes, somebody please repair it, and also for unconsciously derailing from topic? )
  15. What if you are wrong? What if ego was created to check if it is infinite or something else is there. I am talking about beings other than I itself.
  16. @Someone here , I love the way you try to break most people's belief that experience is equal to the ultimate truth. This kind of limited knowledge, though very valuable, can stop us from exploring territories further than this. Also, it can go in the opposite way and stop people from living this life properly.By the way, I am God and I am doing this for my own good.
  17. What if you are a lone being in the universe curious to know your origins ( just like we are ) but unable to find it on the non dualistic state , that's why you have become dualistic, so that you are trying to figure it in some point of time. Just a theory, but you cannot deny it, because neither you have experienced it but nor have proof of it. Neither Shiva nor Sakthi
  18. Dreams are fun, aren't they? Realising that the whole world is an illusion without proper guidance makes people go crazy, become murderers, psychopaths, rapists etc. because it's just a dream, I can do anything I want right ? But God or I don't like it because it makes people go backwards and not forward and thus disturbing MY ULTIMATE GOAL, which is far bigger than realising who I am.
  19. It was an interesting talk to listen to. I am particularly interested in bringing this idea to the discussion : If we experience a glimpse of reality as oneness at the highest point of awareness ( and it has taken thousands of years to achieve it by nature ) , imagine what we will be capable of after , say 5000 years of evolution. Maybe, we will be finding out that oneness is a part of a bigger illusion. And maybe that's the purpose of life itself, I was curious about my origins and I am doing this to myself infinitely to see what's at the end and if there is an end at all. Just an insight to give a new perspective of life.
  20. One thing Sadhguru is so sure is that drugs will bring only a temporary change in perception and give a glimpse of consciousness experience. He is stressing on the importance of achieving that state naturally, and tells that one day such drugs will drain our body. Maybe it's marketing strategy for his meditation classes, who knows.
  21. Perhaps it's just another illusion of our mind. It's very easy to fall into illusions that arise based on our memory constructs. And also very easy to say what I am saying now.
  22. It was a very interesting conversation. Sadhguru is the clear winner here !
  23. It doesn't happen all the time the whole day. Sometimes, my mind is hyper active and during those times it is very difficult to keep the mind blank even while trying to meditate. But sometimes, yes, my mind becomes completely blank other than the object I am focusing. No thoughts arise in my mind during those times, but still if disturbances occur from external environment, I lose that state.
